Vodafone avoid please avoid
have recently had letters from Vodafone saying that I have a device plan with them and they even took money from my account as a direct debit. I was previously with them years ago and left. When I contacted them the device plan no don’t exist and there was no account in my name with them. After investigating they said it was their error and the matter was closed. Since then I keep getting threatening letters saying I ow money and they will report me and pass on my details to a debt collector agency. Since then after numerous attempts and telephone conversations they emailed me and said them matter was resolved and there is no account or outstanding money owing.
Today 04/09/2025 I have received a letter saying that my details have been passed onto a debt collector agency where if I don’t pay the outstanding balance this will be passed onto to my credit report and a default will put against my name.
I feel utterly disgusted and disappointed I honestly thought this was resolved. Vodafone I am taking this matter further
Been in touch with this debt collection agency ZINC credit management my details are now with them and they want funds from me when I don’t ow any and if not payed this will go against me I really 🤔 feel like despite all the evidence I have Vodafone still insist on not resolving the issue issues I will have no option but to contract the financial ombudsman

Extremely helpful and polite staff
I came into the Swansea Vodafone shop and Josh and Maddie were SO helpful to both myself and my Mum. We bought 2 new contracts and had 2 new phones. Not only did Josh and Maddie help us choose the best phone for us and sort out the transfer of all our data, they helped both of us to sign in (and change passwords where needed) to our apps/emails on our new phones.

Katie is awesome
Came in to Vodafone Swansea to sort an upgrade and do a number transfer, which is always a complicated procedure.
Katie from the team was fantastically helpful, guided us through the whole process smoothly and got us sorted out with minimal fuss. An absolute star and even saved us a bit of money on our broadband!

Great service, no hassle.
I went to the store early on a Monday morning, very stressed and in a rush.
Josh greeted me politely and offered assistance immediately. I explained my issue, knew exactly what I wanted and got to the point, and so did Josh. There was no faffing around, no flourishing and trying to upsell me random items - he was to the point, gave me cheaper alternatives and made sure I had what I needed (cost cap etc)
Josh was informative and very friendly. We had a pleasant conversation which brought my stress levels down and he explained all I needed to know clearly.
The store was quite, clean and all staff were engaged with customers. Great experience overall!

Incompetence costs everyone
Served by Katie. Service light and fresh, which is nice. But the result has been a complete disaster. Her incompetence has resulted in a major set up error, leaving us with ZERO mobile service - and literally hours of personal time and Vodafone staff time to resolve.
