I am shocked I can get onto the internet with Vodafone to type this. There are as yet undiscovered tribes in The Amazon (the river delta not the company) where internet connectivity and mobile signals will be better as long as they do not try Vodafone.

Worst customer service and company
I am a vodafone customer for last 5 years and never had such a worst experience ever. I DON’T RECOMMEND VoDAFONE to anyone👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
We have moved our house and asked vodafone to transfer our broadband service to new address. The date on which engineer was supposed to come was 18th of December, but he didn’t turn up. Then I called vodafone and asked about the issue after waiting so long on call, they said due to x-mas holidays the engineer will come on 29th on December. On 28th of December, I received another msg from vodafone that engineer is not coming to fix the broadband tomorrow and we will update you soon. I rang vodafone and explained everything, they said now we wil send the engineer on 4th of January. Again I waited nobody came and was given doongle as replacement till then. I was told that I don’t have to pay for doongle untill my wifi get fixed. After that I was given another date of 11th of January. Today, I received msg from vodafone saying engineer not coming tomorrow. Also, they charged £60 from my account for doongle. Such a worst and sh!t company.
So, I again rang them and after waiting 1 hour still didn’t receive any response.

I can certainly appreciate your upset and frustration with this and I am sorry that you've been left feeling this way. We certainly need to look into this further for you so that we can make sure any actions that have been promised are honoured.
The Dongle would automatically be charged and we'll need to manually add the correctional adjustment to remove the charges from the account.
In regards to the delayed engineer visits, our Broadband team will be able to contact our partner directly (Open Reach or CiryFibre). You'll be entitled to Auto compensation which will automatically apply to your account 30 days once everything is fully resolved, this is to calculate the amount of days you have been affected for.

Great Service and deals
Came into the Vodafone Preston store today for a Sim only and was served by a gentleman called Mohammed. He provided a wonderful service and provided me with a good deal on the SIM. I would definitely recommend coming into store!

Patient and understanding service.
I had to return a new phone I'd received and cancel a contract, and to be honest I was absolutely dreading it, as I saw the whole thing being incredibly complicated and troublesome. I visited the Preston branch of Vodafone this afternoon, and was greeted by Ryan. From the very outset Ryan made me feel that everything could be sorted out and there was nothing to worry about. Within 10 minutes he had my old contract cancelled and came up with a new plan.
He was so very patient and the way he explained everything made the whole process so much easier to understand. He understood for the outset exactly how I needed things explaining, as I'm a bit senior in my years. He even drew a diagram to break down the costs and that made everything so easy to understand and make a choice. His advice on choosing the right phone to match exactly what my needs are, was brilliant, and his honesty put me at ease and I felt I could trust him completely to give the best advice.
More than anything he made me feel that the branch and he was there for me if I need anything or I need any help, there's someone to go and actually talk to if there's any problems. We had a great friendly chat and even a few laughs, the whole process felt like I was sitting down talking to a friend. I'm so glad I went into the branch, and so pleased that it was Ryan that sorted everything out for me. I've been with Vodafone for 15 years, staff like Ryan are the reason I wouldn't go anywhere else. HUGE thanks to Ryan for his help, patience, understanding and knowledge, he's an absolute STAR !

Prashant was absolutely excellent. He took time to answer our questions and stayed an hour over his shift to sort our phones for us. I would absolutely recommend him for other customers. He weighed up over 7 options for myself and worked out the best payment plan for each of them before we settled on one.

Go to Ryan. The other team members are great too
Ryan was the most courteous and helpful member of staff you could hope to have sorting out problems. He spent all the time needed to give us a solution to a phone that had just died. He reduced my SIM card tariff and enabled me to purchase a new phione to meet my needs. The team in the shop showed excellent customer service and a lovely sense of humour as well.
