Serious Complaint — Vodafone Harrow Management Must Take Action
I am writing this review because my experience at Vodafone Harrow was extremely disappointing, and I believe management needs to take this matter seriously.
The biggest concern is the information I was given about the number of devices I could have. I was initially told by an advisor at Harrow that I could only have one device, even though my credit check had actually passed for four lines/devices. I only discovered this later when I visited Vodafone Brent Cross with a friend and another advisor checked my account and explained that I was approved for four lines. Based on that information, I proceeded to book additional devices for my wife and sister.
This raises a very serious question: Why was I told at Harrow that I could only have one device?
If there is genuinely a Vodafone policy limiting customers to one device at a time, then Vodafone should clearly explain that policy and apply it consistently across its stores. If there is no such policy, customers deserve to know why they are being given this information.
I strongly encourage other Vodafone customers to ask for the actual policy in writing and verify any information they are given, rather than simply accepting what they are told at the counter.
I also want to raise a serious complaint about Mel’s behaviour. Her attitude towards me was extremely rude, dismissive and unprofessional. I came to the store looking for a reasonable explanation about my order, but instead of listening to my concerns and helping me understand what had happened, I was made to feel as though my questions were a problem. I was told they could not help me and was directed towards the fraud team without receiving a proper explanation.
I also experienced poor treatment from another colleague, Abijit, which made the whole situation even more frustrating.
Management needs to investigate this properly. I am not asking for special treatment—I am asking for transparency, accountability and basic respect as a customer.
I expect Vodafone management to:
* Investigate why I was initially told I could only have one device when my account had apparently passed for four lines.
* Clarify whether the “one device only” information is an official Vodafone policy or simply information being given by this store.
* Investigate the cancellation of my order and provide a clear explanation.
* Review Mel’s conduct and the way she spoke to me.
* Review the conduct of the other staff involved.
* Take appropriate action if staff have breached Vodafone’s customer-service standards or provided misleading information.
I am posting this review because customers deserve to know about my experience and because I hope it prevents other people from going through the same frustration.
Vodafone Harrow management: please do not ignore this. Investigate it properly and take appropriate action.
I am happy for Vodafone to check my account and the relevant order history to verify everything I have described. I am looking for a proper explanation—not excuses.
