The very good nostalgy of the old YouTube version.

They have a nasty detector for ad blockers. I disabled ad blocking (kept tracker blocking in place) they would not allow me on the site. I disabled ad blocking AND tracker blocking... they would not allow me on the site.

Okay, it is a poor competitor to youtube but more obnoxious. Wish I could comment on content... obviously that's not possible.

I've tried other youtube alternatives and there are plenty of good ones, several horrible. On horrible one I search for videos on Donald Trump. Result was 656 hits, all posted by one guy. Not the best option, but compared to VidLii it is a rich environment for videos... because it can be accessed.

You can go to alternativeto and search for alternative's to VidLii. Better search Youtube. The list is very long. If you click on links they have blocked you can find some who offer Youtube sans tracking & ads. So Vidlii becomes entirely irrelevant and entirely NOT worth any of your time or effort.

I found this website on a list called "Top 10 Best Alternatives To YouTube" from the Toptens website, I shouldn't have trusted that list.

When I first saw the website I was awestruck! It reminded me of the old days on YouTube, back when talented people got their deserved fame and people were kind to one another

In today's toxic internet, people just enjoy making others life miserable or starting unnecessary fights with the innocent.

I thought Vidlii would bring back the goodness of the early Internet (or YouTube atleast) but instead it miserably failed!

Instead of orignal talented video, Vidlii makes re-uploads and that gacha crap famous!

And the community is filled with the same toxic degenerates you find all over the Internet.

I am deleting my Vidlii account.

Was a good site but no longer able to upload on my google chrome browser any more the ad blocker is off but its still blocked oh well its back to bitchute they have no problems and always work.

its nothing else than a lot of immature teenagers who are bullies and trolls and the website is full of terrible memes. The layout is nice it reminds me of older youtube but even youtube in 2006-2008 had more content and more interesting stuff to watch than VidLii... VidLii should put a age limited of 20+ year old to join so theres not all those immature teenagers on there that ruin the website.

get rid of the teenage trolls on there and it would be a great website.

This site is amazing! The only problem is that the staff has been changing a lot and a lot of people have issues with the staff causing the community to get a little annoying. Overall great site, though.

I love the ideas it's Alternative version of YouTube.com. Focusing on what made YouTube an awesome website. Having Star Rating System, non-Crazy and Insane focus on Copyright and Content.

But at the same time, the website has a problem with Haters, Trolls, Hate-Speech, other things like that. Bottom-line: People love the ideas treating other nothing like themselves want to be Treated. Ruins any website including this one as well.
