I am bitterly disappointed with the draught proofing system Ventrolla installed 11 years ago. I know I'm outside the warranty period of 10 years now but I have only just taken back the flats after tenants left. Ventrolla have just visited and told me I have to repeat all the same work they did 12 years ago.

As it was a very expensive before I was hoping it would last longer than 12 years. Another expert tells me the sashes have been cut back too much, possibly to allow the sash to be manoeuvred for painting. The top sashes all move from side to side by maybe 5mm each way. I thought the solution was suppose to correct this movement. The windows don't keep the draught out.
I have now had a large quote to repeat the work all over again and the technician wont visit to assess the work until I pay a deposit. To be honest I don't want them replacing the system they installed.

We used Ventrolla to restore a large number of sash windows throughout our Victorian home. Some of the windows were in poor shape, they were very draughty and all needed some attention. I had limited expectations of what could be acheieved with the state they were in, but am absolutely delighted with the results. The excellent draughtproofing means the curtains no longer billow in the wind, and the fantastic restoration means all the windows can now be safely opened, closed and secured. It makes a huge difference to the property.
From the first visit by Russell to quote the work, and the technical survey from Jac, the guys at Ventrolla were thorough, had great knowledge and the sort of positive, problem solving attitude needed for working on older buildings. I felt confident in their expertise. When Andy, Scott and Paul arrived to do the installation they were tidy, considerate of the property, and showed great craftsmanship. Work overran by a few days due to scale of the job, but I was kept well informed throughout. I highly recommend Ventrolla for any heritage window projects.

Well planned and executed. The guys doing the work were on time, courteous and tidy. We've used them twice now and they've been really good. Windows are no longer draughty!

Everything was easy and clear from start to finish - prompt communications, understanding of our funding and LBC needs, and detailed information. Hayley and Lorna were great communicators, and Alan and Lindsay did a great job. Would definitely recommend, and we will likely use again for other windows that will need some repairs in the near future. In a world of being ghosted by roofers, talked down to by builders and having frankly bizarre conversations about the nature of reality with council planners, it has been a simple pleasure to deal with this company.

As we live in a Grade2 listed building, I researched some companies specialising in refurbishment of Georgian sash windows as our bathroom window was in a poor state, draughty & the top sash wouldn't open. From quotation by Steve to installation, our window refurb was the most stress free experience. Dates given were all adhered to, albeit the job took a little longer than anticipated but that was down to the weather & nothing else and we were kept informed by Catherine (Project Manager) of the delay and both Dean (who refurbished the sash window) & Alan (who painted and finished the window once refurbished) were both extremely professional in their approach and workmanship. All mess was tidied up by both and probably left cleaner than when they arrived!! The sash window now works perfectly and looks great. I would definitely recommend Ventrolla for both their customer service & workmanship and as we have a few windows that need a bit of TLC, we will be using them again.

I had three Georgian windows restored and one made to match from scratch , the service for the restored windows and the fit of the new one was impeccable bar one issue , in order to fit the new window a brand new sink had evidently been stood on - there was a boot imprint mark in the stainless steel . A tarpaulin had covered the work top when the work men were there . I sent an email and photo the very same day alluding to the issue however my concern was dismissed and the damage was denied. It will probably only cost £ 50 to replace and my works cost in the region of £ 15,000 so I did expect they would at least call me or visit to see the issue .

From initial quote, to technical survey to fitting the service was considerate, friendly and efficient. Dave and James went the extra mile with a complicated window, taking out original panes and successfully reusing those where possible. The Ventrolla team Miles and Andy came today to fit a huge bespoke picture window. They did a superb job. Arrived on time, were professional and careful and very polite.

We had 5 windows replaced and could not be happier with the job. From the estimate by Mark, to measurements by Davie, to office support from Hayley and Diane, to installation by Alan and Kevin everything went like clockwork. Communication throughout was excellent and the windows look great. A pleasure to do business with such a professional team.

I have used Ventrolla before with excellent results. While the quality of the windows and the work of the fitters is still great, the manufacturing process took over 5 months and during this time communication was poor.

The whole instillation was well managed, ran to time,fitters Miles, Andy & Lewis were very proffesional

Ventrolla are excellent in every way! From start to finish everyone involved has been efficient, very helpful & professional. We had Ventrolla windows installed in a previous house in Edinburgh too. Hayley & Diane in the Lockerbie office are wonderful & the fabulous teams we had working at our home were John & Paul recently (& previously it was Alan & Kevin). Hello. We are currently in the process of having our new windows installed by Paul, Steve and Stuart from your Scottish branch. So far everything has far exceeded our expectations. The windows are beautiful and Paul and the team are an absolute credit to Ventrolla. Polite, helpful and very skilled at what they do. They have been working so hard in what can only be described as torrential weather without complaint. We couldn't be happier.
They are back next week to complete the installation of the new frames and to refurbish the rest. I am so looking forward to seeing the completed job.
I won't hesitate to recommend Ventrolla in the future.

Great service and very pleased with the end results.
Had an initial hiccup with the agreed start date but Steve the area manager immediately took ownership of the situation and made sure the job was completed as expected which was very much appreciated.
Paul (installer/joiner) was excellent. Completed the job on time with minimal mess and what there was, cleaned it all up for he left.

We had new double glazing custom made for our large windows. We have been very happy with the aftercare service conducted via Granada through Ventrolla and our dedicated manager, Jack, has been great with keeping us updated. Personal service like this is very much appreciated.

The service provided by Paul and John was excellent. They explained very clearly what they were doing managed to complete the work before the time budgeted and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I am in the process of (slowly )restoring or replacing all the sash and case windows in my home with double glazing. It's in a conservation area and so the finish and design need to match the originals. Ventrolla have provided an excellent service from start to finish. This is the second time we have entrusted them with the task.

The most recent installations were carried out by Allan and Lindsay. They were considerate, careful, professional and cleaned up carefully after they finished. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone.

Great windows, very draft proof, and great appearance. It was easy to arrange a survey, and John and Paul fitted the windows very efficiently and expertly, and cleaned up afterwards. All in all a great experience from beginning to end.
