Rubbish Company, if your calling regarding an accident that’s not your fault you get given the third parties insurance details to basically sort yourselves, no help whatsoever! Even the third party themselves were mortified that I was having to call and report all the information myself. Even when I sent an email complaining they wanted to fob me off on an external AX management. I definitely will not be renewing my policy

Awful company. Charge you for EVERY conversation or change. They want evidence of EVERYTHING. Be careful. They want evidence if you change your car mid policy that you no longer own the vehicle you have sold and they want to charge you if you do not send this evidence the remainder of the insurance policy - whilst also cancelling the policy - even if you have another car that you have reinsured with them. They also want evidence that you have changed your car, pictures uploaded for EVERYTHING, and charge you £35.99 for every change regardless of whether you have opted for the extra pack that says no online charges if you do it yourself in the portal - be careful - the small print says they still charge. Cannot wait for my policy to end with them.

AWFUL,AWFUL COMPANY...DO NOT USE
I was involved in a non fault accident, nothing major just a small dent to the tailgate...called Vavista to advise who immediately refered me to AX Claims Management. 48 hours later AX informed me my car was a write off even though nobody had even inspected the car. I was not happy with that and contacted Vavista , spoke to an adviser in customer services who clearly seemed bored in having to accept the call and basically said there was nothing they could do to overturn AX's decision (why? they are the insurance company!!) Out of desperation I called the third party's insurance company to see if there was anything they could do (again, why should I have had to do it - this is what I pay my insurance premiums for!)
Long story short, I didn't deal with AX or Vavista but I did call the other party's insurance company and within a few days the car went to the garage to be assessed and has now been fixed.
You only know how good the company is until you need to claim, and this company is truly appaling. Awful from start to finish - claims management refusing to actually view the car but pestering me to get the hire car off them ( this is where these management companies make their money), poor customer service with insurance company and I end up having to do their job as they couldn't be bothered, oh, and to top it off, I received a email from Vavista regarding the renewel to advise that they are unable to provide a competitive quote for me on this occasion and to basically go elsewhere. They clearly weren't happy that I didn't accept what they stating.
I would never go with this shoddy company ever again, even if it was £100 cheaper and I have also told other people how bad they are.
Sure they'll just cut & paste the standard reply that they always use - they have nothing to say!
***** Update: In response to the company's reply as you see they have clearly not bothered to read my review as I was never complaining about cancelling the policy or the fees. Terrible company! *****

This is the worst insurance company
This is the worst insurance company. They lie and cancellation fee is not broken down. I’ve never defaulted any payment. My car was faulty within 5 weeks of purchase which the dealer took back. I called Vavista to cancel the policy. Only to be told my cancellation fee is £194. Regular payment was taken(direct debit) on the 2nd and I called to cancel on the 5th. How vavister arrived at £194 for cancellation is still unclear. This company rip off people. I stayed without my car for almost a month before I decided to cancel.I spoke with different customer service and they don’t even understand or know what they are doing. They just read to customer without understanding. No direct answer to questions. Vavista will give you debt that’s not yours. Run from Vavista for your car insurance

One star is too good for this company. They dont care about customers at all. Had a quote of £500 paid off in full, needed to change details, wouldn't let me so suggested I cancel and restart the policy so I said yes. Went to do the policy again, exact same policy now £800!!! Spoke to four different people, all said different things, all lied about something. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Because of this I had to take put temporary insurance just to be covered. I'm 10000% sure the good reviews for this company are people who have been paid to review it! No way would this even be 1 star!

100% disappointed
That is 100% disappointed & unacceptable! They don't even know what car/model do they accept. If you will buy or change a brand new car within your policy period, don't buy the car insurance from this company. The customer service is not helpful at all and not professional. They won't tell you yes or no, they will only tell you I'm not sure. I tried to use online chat as well and the staff just closed the chat after I asked the question.

I just got my renewal quote from these clowns! First of all they are asking for over £1000 for an annual car insurance policy.
Then they have doubled the Insurance arrangement fee from last year (about £50 last year) to just under £100 this year.
Then they had my excess up at £495!
Then, I found out, if you need to make ANY changes to your policy during the following 12 months, they charge £50 per amendment!
So, clearly I have gone elsewhere through go.compare. Much cheaper insurance cost for MUCH better cover. Amendments cost £19.50 (max) with the company I have gone with (I wont name them here becasue this is a review of Vavista and Somerset Bridge Insurance Services Ltd . My new cover includes a courtesy car, windscreen cover and everything you would want under insurance as a car driver... none of these things were included with Vavista.
I asked Vavista if there were any discounts to be had. The operator went away, and came back and said Congratulations. My manager has said you qualify for the absolute maximum discount of... wait for it... £50! (Fifty Pounds for the avoidance of doubt).
I will NEVER insure anything through these rip-off merchants (in my humble opinion) and I don't think anyone else should either!

Customer Service needs improvement
After only 1 month of insurance my car was written off so I wanted to change the policy onto my new car. To change the insurance to my new car Vavista wanted to charge an extra £150 more than other quotes I'd had. They said they don't price match. So I cancelled my policy. Due to all the fees they charge you to cancel the policy it ended up that my one month of insurance with them cost me £169, 65% of my annual policy price! This was obviously very frustrating and the customer service person refused to pass me on to a manager.
I wrote in complain to the customer service team about my experience and their customer service team contacted me a week later and was helpful in adjusting the refund I got by an extra £50 and have said they will give more training to the initial person that I spoke to. The second customer service person I spoke to was much more helpful and clearly more experienced. Hopefully with more training their service will get better as they are taking these points seriously.

Stay away from VaVasta and GoSkippy!
When starting the policy I informed them that I would be getting a new car in the not too distant future, and asked them about the process and whether I should be expecting to incur a significant increase.
They said it would be straightforward and I shouldn't expect higher charges. Fast forward, I have bought a new car, which is in a lower insurance bracket, and they wanted me to pay an extra £500 despite every other insurer being cheaper than the current policy I was on.
I felt scammed and betrayed, and had to cop the £150 cancellation costs because it would still be cheaper.
I even called them to ensure I was doing everything right and saying that I want to stay with them, I was met with absolute apathy from the customer support.
I'll also add that unlike other insurers, they don't have an app, and their portal is like something out of the 2000s.
I will tell every single person when talking about insurers to stay away from VaVista and GoSkippy because the are basically the same company in a different brand.

Absolutely terrible experience with…
Absolutely terrible experience with Vavista. I requested to change my vehicle, and my request was simply declined with no proper explanation. Instead of trying to help, they showed no interest in finding a solution.
I have always paid on time and been a reliable customer, yet I was treated like I didn’t matter at all. The customer service is rude, dismissive, and clearly does not value loyal clients. This is my first insurance company and I am shocked by how poorly customers are treated. Avoid.

GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
To be honest, even though I did not use the policy at all (cancelled within 24h of purchase and before it started), the customer service was really good, I called twice, on Sunday for a Sales queries and Monday for Cancellations, I would say I was not even waiting for someone to answer the phone for more than 5min. For me, it was a good service, I just cancelled because my renewal was way, way cheaper. Good experience anyway.

Awful company to be insured by. Everything run smoothly until the point of cancellation. I was told two different debt prices. One was £32.07, which i agreed and paid, the other was £914.89. I of course fought my case. I constantly was told the two different prices by different people. Then after emailing back a forth for time, they finally decided to tell me to ignore the £914.89 as it was sent it mistake, even though they tried telling me multiple times that it’s definitely £914. So hey tried to scam a smart person. Communication is terrible, no one seems to know very much about it all. Was just a whole mess. Caused me a lot of stress and definitely wont be recommending to anyone.

Price was great but when it came to making a claim the whole process was a mess. They were supposed to process the claim in 5 days but it took 6 days for them to get my car to their inspection centre.
The first call was great but went downhill from there. I had to do a telephone lie detector call but all the questions were related to my car being stolen when it actually set on fire. I got a letter asking for lots of information and then another saying they didn't need it after all.
The claims process was very slow and the pay out amount was pathetic. They deducted a significant amount because there was a small dent on one wing which had not breached the paint. It was a drive off on a car park and I didn't want to claim on insurance (it would have been less than the excess anyway) so I had left it to be addressed at its next service.
After I had been paid I got a message saying I needed to give them some information and to contact them urgently. It took `16 minutes to get through to someone. They said I had failed to let them know that the policy was no longer required but the car was a write off and they didn't pay me out enough to replace it with something at a similar standard. When I said that I didn't know that I needed to tell them I no longer needed the policy now that they had written my car off, the person on the other end kept repeating it. I said That's nonsense whereupon she announced she would have to end the call owing to my use of inappropriate language. When I asked for clarification of the offending word she told me it was "nonsense". Go figure. Vavista were the broker and Somerset Bridge the Insurance Company. I could not recommend either on the basis of my experience and the only reason I gave them one star was because no stars is not an option. They do not deliver what they promise and I will never use them again.

The best price which I have search online far cheaper than currently my insure or other online ,only on Confuse.com with Vavista.com also IPID more better than others
Quick and easy .
I did compare quite a number of insurers but you came out on top for price and affordability.
It was very easy to do on-line , the hardest part is choosing.
