Fast class service and all my documents were ready immediately.

Everything was great until I had to put in the bank details. It did not advise me that I could not use an online bank. When I put in my details it just said authentication failed. It never said why. Once I contacted the customer services they let me now and the I used another bank, all went through smoothly.

I had an amazing deal. Good customer service.

After finding this company on compare the market, I opted to insure with these, moving from Hastings, as for the same money, I could get a better package including courtesy car, AA roadside cover etc etc.... however....

After signing up and paying the upfront fee, i am now being told im now insured by Somerset Bridge Insurance, I then received an email stating I dont need to send verification documents in, but they could randomly ask for this at any point during the policy.

Going on to the vavista website and logging in to my account gives me policy numbers, and thats pretty much it. I cant change my direct debit date, and after looking at other reviews, im reluctant to.

Im starting to wish id stayed with a well known, reputable company. One month in and dreading the next 11 months.

Absolutely disgusting the way i have just been spoken too. The lady was clearly having a bad day, she kept sighing down the phone at me, she then put the phone down. So rude. Will not be renewing with Vavista.

£75 cancellation fee - shocker

I insured my car with Vavista a year ago. I received an Email about a month before the renewal date which was the 12th June 2026 saying they would be in touch and would make sure the renewal price matches or beats the price that I would get quoted the same as a new customer.

I then get another Email on the 19th of May saying they are unable to provide a quotation because of the information I had provided and they were unable to provide a competitive cover. I had not at any stage been asked to provide any information nor had I given any. I was rather baffled with this and sent them an email asking as to why they had decided to withdraw my cover. Whilst waiting for a reply I rung them and was told the reason they would not insure me as I was to old!!

I then had another email from them on my renewal date 12th of June saying they were sorry to see me leave.
Quite honestly to be treated in this way caused me a great deal of upset.

This is was very quick and easy! Top of that i found the cheapest insurance compared to other providers.

Absolutely shocking experience with Vavista.
I contacted them on Friday to carry out a simple change of car on my policy. Instead of handling what should be a basic request, I was told it needed to be “referred” and to call back.
Fast forward to Tuesday — I had to go through the entire process again, only to be told they still couldn’t complete the change and I would have to wait yet another day.
This left me unable to legally drive my car, despite doing everything I was supposed to do. Completely unacceptable.
When I decided to cancel so I could actually get insured elsewhere, they then tried to charge me £100 for the privilege of leaving — after failing to provide the service I was paying for.
Poor service, poor communication, and no accountability. A simple admin task turned into days of delays and inconvenience.
Avoid if you value your time or need anything done quickly.

First time with vavista, was one of the cheapest quotes I got, came with extras that weren’t available or had additional costs elsewhere. I like that they are planting trees too!

Vavista may be cheap, but the whole process is a nightmare. The registration is confusing and unnecessarily complicated, and to make payments you are forced to sign up with a separate third-party credit company, which is another frustrating and time-consuming process. Buying simple insurance should not be this difficult. Cheap prices are not worth this much hassle.

Avoid , I contacted this company to cancel the automatic renewal, they said yes all cancelled and will not automatically renew,, two days later get a text to say thank you for renewing your car insurance, so back on the phone to them they apologised and said that it would not automatically renew, I asked them to send me an email with confirmation that the policy will not auto renew I received the confirmation email on the 10th saying that everything was cancelled down, only to wake up this morning to find out that they have taken nearly £50 from my account as they still tried to renew my cancelled policy. They are useless on the phone so had to go through my bank to get the money back.

premium was competitive enough however beware of the extortionate cancellation fees, I've just been asked to pay £143 cancellation on the £300p/y premium with cancelation fee of £75 alone + other fees. Ridiculous.

Could not complete payment on line due to difficulties confirming with bank on same device as insurance forms.

Hi,stay away from this car insurance details.A lot of misinformation,getting lots of emails from what you don’t understand anything at all.We started a car insurance with them from 26/03 until 14/04 until was cancelled by them with the reason that we missed to declare 3 speeding points and they issued a £160 payment upfront,we though that they will add the amount to the monthly DD, they prefer to cancel the insurance and issue me a £183 invoice for 2 weeks of insurance.No profesionalism at all .We have 4 cars in our household,never in my life happened this for a car insurance.AVOID
