We had the most fantastic time in Peru! We felt taken care of the whole time! All traveling arrangements could not have happened more smoothly, we had many requests that was fulfilled at perfection. We stayed at the most fantastic hotels, hiked up to Machu Pichu, had many history lessons, the best of food. Thanks for making this trip so special for us, looking forward to the next time we can have you arrange for us.

Absolute amazing team at Vamos. My son and I enjoyed beautiful 3 weeks in Peru, Bolivia and Chile and it was plain sailing. We had a very particular list of things we wanted to see, which were sometimes not exactly the same as the normal tourist routes, but Vamos had us covered and organised it exactly as wanted, but by adding their local knowledge and expertise.
Even when we had to spontaneously change the itinerary due to presidential elections in Bolivia and the accompanying lockdown of transport, they made sure that everything was reorganised and we got to see all what we had planned.
Groups were small (on the short segments where we were in a group) and very nice. All guides did speak good English and were very informative.
We had such amazing experiences, be it to see thousand of Macaws at the clay licks, the colourful Rainbow Mountains, Salt Desert or Macchu Picchu!

The team was excellent. The planning was clear, their support app made it very easy to know what was next, they were flexible when we made some requests on room options mid trip, their guides at Lake Tittikaka, Cusco/Machu Picchu and the surrounding area, and Colca Canyon/Arequipa were excellent - super knowledgeable and just fun for the family to travel with! The experience with the people Chuquibamba was really special, fun and educational - strong recommend.

I planned an 11-day family trip to Peru with Annelies, and I am thrilled to say that it was absolutely amazing! We loved everything about it. We enjoyed amazing sand dunes in Huacachina, the gorgeous natural beauty of Paracas National Reserve, the awesome Amazon (including the beautiful and delicious food at the Corto Maltes Amazonia lodge), Sacred Valley and the iconic Machu Picchu, Cusco, and Lima. Our tour guides were all so helpful. We appreciate Monica taking us to Pink Lake, which we would never have known about otherwise. Raul went out of his way looking for a sloth and many other animals for us to see. Natalia hiked the 1-day Inca trail with us, telling us about everything we were seeing there as well as in the Sacred Valley. When one of my daughters was sick, she, Annalies and Rosemery helped us get fantastic medical care, with a doctor and nurses coming right to our hotel room. Every single guide was so knowledgeable about everything historically and with the flora and fauna. Thank you for helping to arrange a professional photographer to help us remember our family time in Cusco as well as paragliding in Lima--and so much more! All the drivers were fantastic, too! Having our trip planned this way helped take out all the anxiety and saved us a lot of time before and during the trip. The accommodations were also just wonderful. We would recommend this experience to everyone. Such lovely family memories we made in a beautiful country! Thank you!

Though our group was small and our time in Lima short we could not have had a better day that was planned for us by Annelies from Vamos Expeditions. Communications with Annelies was excellent and we really felt she knew exactly what type of day we were hoping for. We had a beautiful jou ey in Peru. It was organized perfectly bij Vamos Expeditions. All the guides were very nice and very professional. They all were correct, friendly and well organized. Also the drivers were very good, the vans were all in very good shape.

I initially chose to work with Vamos Expeditions because of their commitment to sustainability and working locally. In the future, I'll choose them because I know that they are capable of creating a once-in-a-lifetime adventure full of unforgettable memories in the best way.

From start to finish, the Vamos Expeditions team was incredibly easy to work with. Annelies understood my goals for a once-in-a-lifetime trip within a few emails and Alvaro put it altogether within my timeframe and budget. Every question was answered, and every answer came with new ideas and possibilities that only people with intense experience would have.

Once in Peru, Vamos staff were always available to support. Carmen was so quick with information about packing, cultural etiquette, language tips and more to make sure we felt at ease no matter where we were. And even though this trip was fast paced (a result of our time frame), the Vamos team suprised us with a few "extras" that ensured we really slowed down to take in the experience. It was a gift that we didn't know we needed until we received it.

Our guides were the best part. Eduardo in Lima welcomed us with open arms and introduced us to the craft brewery scene of Lima. In the Amazon, a different Eduardo led us fearlessly, awing us with his knowledge of the interconnectedness of the plant life, insects and animals. Neither of us are big campers, but despite its ruggedness, the Amazon was our favourite part of the entire trip- and Eduardo deserves much of that credit. Marisol in the Sacred Valley was not just our guide, but became our photographer, interpreter, and so much more. She brought history to life and her excitement and energy in all we did was contagious. Reflecting back after we arrived home, our stories were as much about the people we met- our guides and the people they introduced us to- as it was about the activities we did.

Without a doubt, I know there is no way we could have planned this kind of trip and had these experiences without Annelies and her team. It was a once in a lifetime experience, and I am so grateful that we chose the Vamos team to realize it. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

We toured with Vamos Expeditions for 3 weeks in Peru and it was worry-free travelling! Such a good time for us, because everything was very well organised and we had a excellent follow-up. First of all the tour plan was flawless. The days rolled together seamlessly. We will use your company again for future vacation plans. We would say also that Hector and Monica, our tour guides, made this vacation special. Both were either on time or early every day. They would talk in depth about every location we went to. We just returned from a 9-day trip to Peru and Vamos Expeditions made it everything we were hoping and so much more. It was so helpful to have a Whatsapp group chat with Vamos while in Peru and everything went so smoothly. Vamos accommodated all of our requests and provided excellent suggestions to make our itinerary just perfect.

I recently traveled to wonderful Peru for vacation with Vamos Expeditions. Annelies and her team did a wonderful job planning and delivering a wonderful private premium vacation for me as a solo traveler. Annelies arranged for me an amazing and excellent itinerary with an excellent transition of activities. I visited wonderful locations, and stayed is superb accommodations. Both Carmen and Alvaro provided excellent support throughout my trip with almost daily follow ups and checking with me that everything is going smoothly. The team helped with all logistics, transportations, internal flights and daily updates. The itinerary unfolded smoothly without any problems. The guides were amazing. Pablo and Fernando were my guides in Lima, they are very knowledgeable and took me to wonderful places including amazing neighborhoods, museums, water park with the evening light show, and the wonderful old city. We had delicious food, and this was true in Lima and other areas. In Arequipa and Colca canyon, Antonio was amazing , very enthusiastic about showing me the best of this region. We saw the Andean condor from very close view points, enjoyed local food, saw folklore dances , wild life, hikes, beautiful small villages, and wonderful friendly people. We had a wonderful driver and clean high-end car. In the sacred valley and Cusco my guide was Jaime. He is a knowledgeable, amazing and friendly guide. Jaime took me to wonderful places and helped with shopping and restaurants. We had many encounters with Lama and he was very knowledgeable with wildlife. Jaime was my guide on the Inca trail as well. Vamos arranged for me a 4D / 3N private luxury hike. The chef and porters spared no effort to make my hike comfortable and enjoyable, and safe. Jaime was amazing and professional. He knows nature, history, culture, and has a wonderful friendly personality, he loves Peru and he is a wonderful representation of his country. Peru is an amazing country , wonderful friendly people and culture, delicious variety of food, interesting history, breathtaking nature, nice cities and beautiful villages, and clearly well organized and established infrastructure for tourism. Vamos Expedition lead by Annelies put together once in a lifetime memorable premium 18 days vacation for me . My friend and I just returned from the most wonderful two-week adventure in Peru. Every bit of it was planned and carried out by Vamos Expeditions. From the excellent guides to the charming hotels to the reliable drivers and well-balanced itinerary, we could not have asked for more.

Our journey included Machu Picchu, a portion of the Inca Trail, the Sacred Valley, Cusco, Lima, and a truly inspired (if oh-so-challenging!) five days of trekking around Ausangate. Breathtakingly beautiful and deeply moving, it was such a gift to be away from the noise of the world and to connect to the sacredness of the land with a guide who was willing and happy to go at our pace and to adjust plans as needed for our sea-level, older bodies, lol.

Far and beyond our expectations! Vamos created a beautiful two-week-long cultural and trekking adventure for us, making recommendations based on our needs, budget, interest and physical capacity. We did a 1-day Inca Trail trek, plus a full-day tour of Machu Picchu, three days in the Sacred Valley, a 5-day trek around Ausangate, and spent time in Cusco as well.

Vamos planned every step for us including fabulous local guides, drivers, hotels, domestic flights, and even arranged a good balance of free time, along with ideas for things to explore on our own.

Every guide was completely fluent in English, knowledgeable, personable, professional and delightful to be with. During our trip the Vamos team was always available for questions and quick to respond.

A special shout-out to co-owner Annelies Hammerlinck who was willing to spend time at the beginning to get to know us via Zoom so she could design our perfect trip for us. The whole team is clearly operating from a socially-responsible and heart-centered place.

One of the highlights was our Ausangate trek, with our amazing guide Jaime and a support team of four locals as chef, assistant chef and horsemen. It was a life-changing experience. We could tell that Vamos takes good care of their people, and that meant a great deal to us for our first trip to Peru. We plan on coming back!
