Zero empathy for pregnant mothers - predatory and automated
At 27 weeks pregnant and with a toddler in tow, the retail park bays were far too narrow for me to safely exit my car. I parked safely at the very end of a row without blocking a soul but happened to be 5cm over the line. Despite providing my official MatB1 medical proof and store receipt, UKPC rejected my appeal with a robotic, cookie-cutter response. They have absolute zero common sense or human decency. I only paid the £60 to avoid further stress and hassle leading up to having my baby, but their predatory business model is a complete disgrace. Avoid if you can. Absolute jobs worth parking wardens trying to meet their quota.
Fined for a space I have a permit for
Got given a parking fine for a space that I have a yearly permit for. Sent over the Parking ID number that links to the permit and they stated this is not enough evidence. After sending many screenshots and three emails back and fourth of evidence, showing I have paid for the space for a year, they let me off of the fine.
I cannot believe a car parking company…
I cannot believe a car parking company is doing this to there customers. Words cannot comprehend what they are doing. I have had 3 tickets for parking in a gym where I was allowed to park and also the times are also an issue as well. Even emailed there info email address, only to be told they don't accept appeals via this email. But it was also a complaint. I have now contacted my local MP for support in the matter.
Parasites!

Awful company. parked at a Macdonalds to catch up with a friend & overstayed limit (didn't realise there was one-why would there be?). Was a customer throughout spending quite a lot on money & proved it but they aren't interested, just wan their money.
Will not use that Macdonalds again (shame on them) so doesn't help business either.
Car park is never busy & not at 8am especially & is surrounded by other places with bigger car parks including a shopping centre where you get 4 hours free!
No need for the car park to be monitored at all let aloe by such a horrible company
Intimidating shameful bullies
Absolute scammers
Watchdog will be on this
Verified customer on premises, email also sent by business owner to confirm this and they still would not cancel fine
Now the business has lost a customer as we will not be using their business or car park again and the scammers have won!
Stressful, intimidating, unethical scammers!
This company Should be absolutely ashamed they intimidate vulnerable people into paying when they do NOT have to. SHAMEFUL
Received a PCN for parking slightly…
Received a PCN for parking slightly over bay lines in a large retail car park that was empty apart from 5 or six cars and was only there for 3 to 4 minutes while rushing in and out of shop with my purchase.
I sent an appeals letter by post with proof of receipt and time of purchase. Then came the letter and the punitive charge of £170. I have tried emailing the complaints department about this and that I had sent an appeals letter withing the original 14 day's. They told me they had not received it and continue sending letters. I contacted POPLA and explained this to them. They told me that they do not get involved with disputes unless I have some sort of code that UKPC are supposed to give me when they refuse my appeal; only they do not have my appeal letter, according to them? I emailed a complaint again and attached a copy of the original appeals letter with receipt of purchase, which has been ignored completely. All windows are now closed for any appeals and I am absolutely fuming about this because I sent an appeal within the right time frame and do believe that they received the original appeals letter but, just want to try and scam money from me?
I have now received a second letter from their debt people to inform me that unless I pay £170 it will be going to a Solicitor.
I am a Veteran with PTSD and do not need this kind of Harrassment! I did not serve my Country for the likes of them to bully hard working people and steal money off them.
You are an absolute disgrace and have no honour!!!

Big scammer in UK this Compnay don’t put no sign or anything and send you fined I have paid a fine and received another letter £170 additional charges this is joke
Go to the organ grinder
The simple answer to UKPC and other similar companies is not to bother appealing to them but to organisation who contracts their services. I have had 100% success in getting PCNs rescinded in this way. The answer to these parasites is dont deal with the monkey just go straight to the organ grinder!
PAYMENT UNDER DURESS!
PAYMENT UNDER DURESS!
Appealed because vehicle had not been parked up for time implied. No evidence of being parked was provided only the use of the service road. Only provided with a photo of the driver in the morning and not a photo of the driver in the evening because it will show a different person. The car park is used for drop off and pick up only. Communications are passive aggressive and coerced into payment upon the appeal being declined!
Will be reporting to the ombudsman.

Don't think this an actual company more…
Don't think this an actual company more of a criminal enterprise.
Can't contact a person, probably because they wouldn't be able to justify their policies.
Appeal process is poor, you get a reply but can't contact them because their inbox is full ????
Sneaky and no common sense used, just after the money and then bully people into paying it.
Surely they should be investigated over the practices they use.
Strategically place signs so you don't see them. Parasites.
They strategically place signs as best as they can so that you don't see them when entering car parks they "monitor". Absolute parasite of an organisation. Why do fast food joints in the middle of nowhere even have a 90 minute maximum stay? It's not like you're going to go anywhere else. These guys must offer to pay establishments to set up there and catch regular law-abiding citizens. I won't be eating/drinking at the fast food place I visited ever again, shame on them - we can only protest with our wallets. Why don't they set up cameras outside schools and fine the lazy mums and dads jumping curbs and parking across yellow zig zag lines or in superstore car parks to catch people parking in disabled/family bays? And now even POPLA stick up for them - the assessor I googled has upset quite a lot of people! I hope Karma comes back to bite the owners of this company but they won't even care about this review. They're just happy watching the money role in contributing absolutely nothing but misery to society and normal people in hard times.
Avoid! A £100 parking trap for genuine customers!!
Avoid! A £100 parking trap for genuine customers!!
Warning to all drivers: This is a total parking trap. I was a genuine customer with a receipt, but because an emergency call delayed my exit, I was slapped with a £100 fine.
I reached out to UKPC management and customer service, explaining my mitigating circumstances—including reduced income and personal hardships—but was met with nothing but cold, scripted template responses. They have the power to cancel these predatory charges but choose not to.
They have zero interest in customer retention or social responsibility. To your clients: You have lost a regular customer over your refusal to show a shred of compassion. To everyone else: Drive to a different branch where they actually respect their patrons.
Bunch of cow boys
Bunch of cow boys. Using customers as cashpoint. Unethical business
Had to give a one star only because it…
Had to give a one star only because it wouldn’t let me progress or I would have gave a zero.
I recently parked at McDonald’s in Carlisle were we meet up with staff have a code and something to eat, unfortunately I did overstay but I asked the manager if she could help me with the parking fine, she did but I then received a reminder.
Unfortunately the manager did not come back to me and when I visited McDonald’s I was told that UKPC would not cancel the ticket.
At this point there was a final demand came through for payment I have now paid £170 plus £1.71 admin fee.
Me or staff have now agreed to boycott the McDonald’s in Carlisle.
UKPC are happy to fine you extortionately but I can see online that this company has previously admitted serious misconduct, operates in an industry that is not regulated.
This company should be ashamed they make annually £24m- £36m in parking charges and likely to exceed £250 million over the last decade.
I will be avoiding any UKPC car parks but unfortunately I think this will be unavoidable as they have cornered almost a quarter of the market.
Wonderful! (Not)
Thank you so much for noticing that my oversize car (Suzuki Swift) was slightly over a line in a car park. A particular thank you for not noticing that I couldnt actually pull any further left because of a concrete pillar.
Anyway it was lovely to receive a £60 penalty for this - in a disabled bay and with my wife's blue badge correctly displayed. What a kind person the parking attendant must be.
But the icing on the cake was the £1.50 admin charge. Wow that really was a generous thought.
I would have loved to engage with UKparkingControl to share my joy but sadly it appears they are not responsive.
Anyway to the lovely people at UKParkingControl Ltd I hope that you are all having a wonderful day.
Sadly my last review wasnt acceptable. I can't think why. Hopefully this very positive review will be read by thousands. Thank you!
I paid but they still fined me!
I shall certainly avoid parking in a UKPC managed car park in future and would recommend anyone else to do the same.
I parked my husband's car in a UKPC car park & went to an eye appointment. I realised during the appointment that I hadn't paid for the parking so as soon as possible I rushed back, paid for the parking & kept the ticket. 2 weeks later we received a Parking Charge letter. I appealed, explained & sent a photo of the ticket. The appeal was denied - in my haste & fluster I had put my own car registration details in and not my husband's. I wrote back to UKPC with evidence that both cars were ours, explained, apologised & pointed out that they could see that my car wasn't parked in the car park at any point that day, only my husband's. It was a simple error but I had paid for parking. But it seems that there's no human understanding & compassion in the company and they instead insisted I pay a further £60.
Shocking service level and response…
Shocking service level and response times. No way of contacting them to speak to anyone.
They didn't send an original NTK in the post and then proceeded to various treats, demands and harassing behaviours/letters. Eventually referring to a debt collecting agency and of course 'joe bloggs' is completely powerless.
This is a disgraceful outfit that should not be in operation.
Shocking experience
I have a car parking fine from when I attended a hospital appointment at north Middx I have put a cheque in the post and have still received a final chance notification ! There is no one to speak to over this threatening letter !
There is restricted Parking at north Middx and absolutely no spaces ! When I saw cars parked on the red lines I decided to stop, go to reception and ask if the restriction had been lifted in light of the stress of trying to get to
An appointment! I was told NO so I went back to the car and left my husband to sit in the car until a space did become available ! I was no more than 10 mins but have incurred £100 rising to £170 if not paid on time ! A cheque went in the post so I’m hoping it has crossed with their letter! I’m nearly 80 disabled and had put my badge in the windscreen ! But there is no mercy even though there would have been obstruction ! Of course I understand parking restrictions and always obey the law but I do consider this fine way over the top I hope they find my cheque !!!
