I had no issue in receiving my insurance cover. Just filling the online form - for emergency another form at the clinic needs filling and approval from your vet- and the contact the vet and it all happens.
My dog is 8 . No fully happy with the amount of cover- due to age, but all the other things are without a fault

Unemployment insurance cover
I paid for an unemployment insurance cover policy for over 20 years. When the crunch came and I lost my job, Trent did everything possible to avoid paying out on the scheme despite several reviews. I faced a choice of either resigning from my job (with a payout) or being told I would be sacked, I chose to resign and not impoverish my family to ensure I could pay the mortgage for a few months. According to Trent, I should have stayed and been sacked without payout risking homelessness for my family. They did everything they could to avoid paying out on a policy I took out in good faith for this very reason. Avoid this type of policy and Trent.
Post company response note-responding that I should contact your team to discuss is very disingenuous as you know I have asked for the case to be reviewed several times. All with the same outcome IE you will get nothing due to a clause in the policy. The cover should be renamed redundancy cover (under very limited circumstances) as the term unemployment clearly is not covered in numerous circumstances. Either way, having take out the policy in good faith and kept it going for over 20 years, I was left with zero cover once my job was lost. Unbelievably disappointing policy and service.

On line claim process worked well after…
On line claim process worked well after my initial concerns. Had to submit 2 separate processes for 2 different vets but the continuation claim worked and Trent (Corinium pet insurance)paid up promptly with a 15% deduction due to pets age (5)!
Star dropped as I would have liked updates as to when Vets received claim. I had to contact our vets as email had gone to spam and they hadn't realised the claim had been sent to them.
All in all though very happy with process and timely payout.
All in all very happy with service received.

Increased my monthly contribution by 25% without even notifying me, I just happened to come across it when checking my bank statement. This is for redundancy insurance, which I've being paying for well over 12 months now.

Reliable service that takes away the uncertainty of being of work unwell, initial claim is a bit time consuming but continuation claims are easy and handled quickly. Trent are a service I highly recommend for those difficult times.

Mini schnauzer running wild again.
Our mini schnauzer fractured her rear fibula last April and had fabulous treatment at our local vet, ending in June.
I am 85 and was anxious about making my first claim, but a lovely lady at Trent-services put me at ease with good advice, and I supplied all details using their on line form on 16 June. To my amazement, I received my full claim amount within a week!
No questions to answer! I have been with the company for many years and this was certainly excellent service.

Amazing pet insurance experience
We have our dog insured via Trent Services and unfortunately we recently had to make a claim for emergency eye surgery. The process of claiming back our costs was very quick and easy and we were reimbursed within a few days. Amazing service!

Terrible Service - Avoid like the plague
Terrible Service. Their brand name of insurance company Muddy Paws took over my existing pet insurance policy, the Premiums went up a bit, to be expected, however was unaware they changed the T&C to up the fixed excess from £90 to £150, and then added another excess taking 20% !! At first they claimed in writing it was because of the age of my dog (only 4 !) This turned out to be a lie. The excess is mandatory for all policy holders, so thinking I was going to loose £90 from the settlement, I'm now losing £175 ! .
After posting a bad review, their fantastic solution was to to offer to cancel the policy from the renewal date, I have to return the settlement amount, they return the 3 months of premiums paid, so I end up paying the vet bill entirely, £300 out of pocket. Will not be renewing my policy and urge any one to check they are not dealing with Trent Services when shopping for insurance.
