Experience Missed
We received a 50th Anniversary gift from our children five years ago and finally booked an experience during our recent trip to Costa Rica. The booking company contacted me to see if I could change the date, but we were unable to so they agreed to the date booked. We never heard from them again and were unable to use the experience. I wrote twice to Tinggly to request a new certificate, but they have not responded. We are very disappointed with both the tour company and Tinggly.

We received a gift on Tinggly and to redeem it, it's a hassle. Tinggly is just a middleman, so booking through it did not mean we had actually a booking with the service we wanted. The voucher was refunded when the event did not take place. To book any event you need to first redeem the voucher , then book the event, wait for the booking to be confirmed before you're sure you're set up for the event.
Spare your friends the pain. Give them cash.

Tinggly can be trusted
We were excited to be given a Tinggly gift experience for our trip to Madeira Island. We chose a Jeep tour, but did not have a good experience. Although we booked an 8-hour Private tour, another couple was also on it. The woman didn’t dress warm enough and insisted on keeping the plastic windows down. It was uncomfortable, hard to see, & definitely not the fun adventure we imagined.
With that said, this was an issue with the jeep tour operator, not Tinggly!
After hearing about our experience, Tinggly was apologetic, responsive, and with total integrity, made things right. Tinggly can be trusted. We look forward to our next experience through them.
PS: Tip: the next time we book a tour I’ll be looking for tours with a lot of outstanding reviews. (I think it’s a safer bet.) I remember that this particular tour had less than a handful.

Deceptive Advertising /Poor Service
They falsely advertised I bought several Christmas boxes and and you have to pay extra for the box and the Box had a different experience.. didn't match the gift. Trying to get somebody to answer email to figure out what they were offering and then they made up some crazy stories especially when I was offered a voucher code and I tried to use the voucher code and then they told me it wasn't good for this promotion because they were trying to monitor false purchases it didn't make sense.
Then they're trying to do subscriptions it's such a great idea but they don't have it together I would wait. What's amazing is how fast I got a response by posting on trust pilot. What they did was they refunded the cost of the box that's all! If the purchase says there so many experiences that's what should be on the box. The problem is the amount of time that I have to keep on going back and forth with somebody on email and when you do it on email they don't answer as fast.
I still think this is a great concept but I they need to do better, be accurate on what they are selling, fix website accuracy, a better website user experience and better customer pain points and better customer touch points. do not insult the customer's intelligence and most importantly deliver what you offer! Do not brush off a customer with excuses.
Again great concept but I would wait before you used it for corporate or the higher end gifts!
