Have to go at 1AM if you actually want to use any slightly popular bit of equipment without waiting 2 hours for the teenagers to finish using it as a prop

Terrible gym with a toxic atmosphere. Management is lazy and unhelpful—Martin, the gym manager (what a joke!), has an awful attitude and spends more time giving evil looks than creating a friendly environment. PTs are rude, kick you off equipment to train their clients, and staff ignore complaints. Unwelcoming, unfriendly, and unprofessional—needless to say I've cancelled my membership with The Gym Worthing! It's cheap for a reason - avoid if you can.

They hang up every-time I call proper shocking customer service

This dosent relieve the gym in Worthing at all it’s your back office crap staff

As a new gym-goer and a 50 year old that til now was far too self conscious to parade my blubber in front of others, I have to say that the whole experience and the amazing team @Worthing have made a huge difference to my life and given me the confidence to build a far healthier future.

I have attended 2 classes, 1 SGT with George where I had discussion prior to the class and she delivered at a pace that really worked for me, the second class was a little different but needs special mention, I had a SGT class with Franklyn, same level of discussion pre-class and it was tailored perfectly for me, 3/4 of the way through the session I had to stop and felt very ill / odd, Franklyn was patient and attentive and got me through, it may sound dramatic but it was truly a scary experience for me at that time, I thought I may have overdone it and pushed too hard but it now turns out I was 24 hours away from Norovirus hitting.

It does get busy but there is plenty of equipment, the app makes it easy to see capacity and plan visit.

The only minor irritation is the lack of ability to be able to setup the Yanga water subscription, I assume it is because I have paid for Ultomate membership for 12 months in advance?

Thanks to The Gym Group and huge praise to Worthing team, you have and will continue to help me improve my health.

More of an 'heads up' than a review. Gym was adequate, used it twice between 2am and 4am ( quiet time!), and once, unfortunately for me it transpired, from 5am until 6.30 am. I have a multi gym Gym Group membership. This gym is located in a retail park as is my 'home' gym Eastbourne. A month after my visits I received a parking fine for £100. It transpires you have to register your vehicle at this gym to use this car park from 6am, if you are unaware of this then you are caught, as The Gym Group claim no responsibility for parking ( you will find this out only by looking for parking info on their app). If you are reading this because it's happened to you, you can contest and show details of your gym visits via the app to Nexus parking...they will reject the defence, but reduce the fine to an admin fee of £20. So, with the ethos forewarned is forearmed, find out how to register your vehicle with this gym before you start training!

Great gym, always found the environment very welcoming and clean. All the instructors are friendly and supportive, classes are fun and challenging. Overall I’m extremely happy.

Low quality, basic gym. Minimal range of cardio equipment. Dirty toilets, cubicles littered with toilet roll, urinals out of order on last visit.

Lack of cleaning supplies - I had to use my own wipes on equipment.

Awful parking situation if you’re forgetful like me - customer service is unhelpful.

I would recommend paying more for an alternative, decent gym. I would not recommend.

Not a great gym. Just left after 5/6 years. You get what you pay for really, cheap gym but because of that it’s so busy all the time. They have no cleaning products now so as long as you don’t mind going on a machine or bench after someone has been sweating on it for half hour you’ll be fine.

Got a parking ticket last year after they made you start putting your registration plates in and the gym were less then helpful with trying to assist which was ver disappointing.

Overall, it’s okay if you want a cheap gym but if you want somewhere decent and happy to pay a bit more then I wouldn’t go here

The gym itself is great (Worthing)
But there’s been two price hikes in 12months…the latest by a fiver….
£29 a month to £35… I’ll reconsider my options as there’s now cheaper around..

I joined back in February and I have nothing but good things to say!
I was super nervous when I started, typical gym anxiety I guess, but Beth immediately put me at ease when I went for a look around.
I booked in an induction with Lewis and have never looked back. He is such a great PT and feel 1000% supported by him. He is the BEST hype man!
Never had ANY issues here and have actually since persuaded two friends to join too!
All the staff are super approachable and happy to help if I ever need any guidance. Also, the app is brilliant, allowing you to book classes easily and check how busy it is before going.

Full five stars from me 🌟

I’m loving the Gym Group Worthing since I’ve joined. My only gripe is coming in early morning to find equipment moved and weights not returned to their proper positions after busy evenings the night before.

Otherwise, super impressed!

Best Gym I have ever attended. Staff always happy and helpful. Great equipment great classes a special mention to the manager Martin who is always motivational and positive. Also really good value for money and it’s 24hr.

The staff here are so wonderful helpful and so very knowledgeable. The gym and equipment is always clean the best gym in Sussex bar none.

Just done the fit pump class with Beth a fantastic experience the enthusiasm and energy Beth gives is inspiring. Don't wanna big it up to much as want my space each week great class.

I think this gym is amazing! I joined the one in Worthing and it is so big, clean and all the broken machines are fixed immediately. I live in Shoreham by Sea and I really hope one of these gyms will be open here as well.

Very clean, well-kept gym, including the equipment and on-site facilities. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and always willing to help. There's a wide variety of types of classes available to join, at various times of the day. The atmosphere is friendly and I've always felt comfortable and welcome at every visit. Plentiful equipment, so you can manage to find spare equipment to use (although I do tend to avoid the super busy times!). On that note, the app is really well laid out and allows you to see how busy the gym is. The only slight problem I have had is trying to get in the door and the QR code not working (more to do with me keep on forgetting my pin number!) - overall a pretty faultless experience!

Bethanie is an enthusiastic and fun instructor. Her classes are hard work but enjoyable and she really encourages you throughout
