Reading West. My wife and I have been there a couple of times, rang and the doorbell and nobody ever answered. Today we asked a customer who was leaving if there was any staff in. He was kind and went to call someone. This person came out the door and told us it was her first day but that she called her manager and he would be with us shortly. We were left outside. Nobody offered to come in and take a look at the place as we waited. After 30 minutes waiting outside we left. They probably didn’t want us as customers

Aaron an other members of staff at the gym are very approachable and can offer some great advise without work outs and anything your unsure of.. Very knowledgeable and have many years experience.. The Gym is pretty big and has a lot of facilities for all your exercise needs..

Really love this gym. Staff are friendly and approachable and the classes are brilliant. Highly recommend.

There are under 16 year old teens running around everywhere, one ran past me as I was doing flat dumbbell chest press and I dropped the weights on my chest as a kid barged past, hitting my head as I was mid exercise.

The toilets are honestly disgusting, sinks with tissue in them, doors for lockers broken, I came with a friend and these older men decided to stare at us very creepily throughout the workout at then they saw which locker my friend put his stuff in and one of them smashed the locker door in.

Most of the staff are lovely, kind and want to help, there's a few that are very rude and it's clear that they don't want to work there.

My time has and still is good at the gym group I mind my business and workout and leave but for some reason I’ve had a email about me “conducting personal training” and have no clue where this has come from? As I don’t know anyone from my gym let alone PT anyone?

All the staff are very helpful and there is a great atmosphere.

Been a member of Oxford Road, Reading Gym for almost a week now. Been lots of times for workouts and to a class.
Staff members all really friendly and helpful , gym clean and all equipment working perfectly.

A really great gym with a lot of clean equipments,
it gets crouded at times, but thats understandable, also you could use the app to avoid those times.

I have been using it for 6 months.
I would recommand.

Has all of the equipment I need, easy to sign in/out, staff are friendly, reasonable price, great service all round.

The Gym is a welcoming place - helped by personal trainer, Emily! I wouldn't have kept going to a gym if it was on my own but having regular sessions there, I've got to know other members and trainers. ALL are friendly and always willing to help if you can't work out how to do something.

Lovely friendly gym...staff great and always on hand to help/assist if needed...lots of space and good quality equipment...and a punch bag!

I come to this gym because it is close to where I live, has good opening hours and lots of equipment, which means even at very busy times I rarely have to wait long to use anything. There are some issues at this gym which make me consider whether I want to continue with this gym. The staff (if they are present which is not often) aren’t particularly friendly on the whole, and don’t maintain the gym they well so there are often weights left lying around/put in incorrect places. The people that frequent this gym are mostly males who can be loud and obnoxious, which may be intimidating if you are new to the gym or a woman. Some of them appear to travel in packs, too. Finally a real gripe of mine is that there seems to be no enforcement of the use of locks on lockers, so most lockers are full of people’s things and closed without a lock, meaning it takes ages of opening countless lockers to find one that’s empty. Perhaps a coded locker system would be more appropriate so that people can store their things safely and conveniently. I won’t leave this gym as it’s the most convenient option, but I don’t love coming here which is a shame.
