We spent a wonderful few days here with our family in this lovely house, which is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We particularly liked close by Lynton and Lynmouth, the Lorna Doone valley (wonderful cream tea!) and the charming Lynton and Barnstable steam railway experience, it was childhood re-visited - a totally unspoilt, genuine part of England. We thoroughly recommend Yenworthy Mill!

This was our second stay at Blagdon Cottage Wheddon Cross. Was delighted that our host Marilyn had taken on board our suggestion abut the shower. We had a lovely new one. The house has everything you need. Lovely to have wine and Milk in the fridge on arrival.
TV was better too although being of a certain age we struggled to find the channels:)
The shop down the road has all the essentials if you forget anything and is reasonably priced, as is the fuel.
Close to Dunkery, Horner woods, Selworhty, Porlock, Dunster and Minehead.
Back for my third trip in August just a different cottage as this one was booked!

We loved our stay here. Location was perfect for walkers. Kitchen facilities fabulous for cooking anything. Comfy beds and lovely towels! Very spacious. The log-burner and radiators were fine for keeping such a large area warm. The sofa arrangement was perfect for our group of 7 women to chat all together. Parking right outside the door. Lovely bedrooms, two ensuites.

We loved „The old Malt House“ in Exton. There is everything you possibly need for a very comfortable long weekend: in the kitchen, the lounge, the bath room and bed rooms. We loved the beautiful decor and the place was very clean, warm and toasty with its log burner.
We slept well in our best quality bedding and woke up to the lovely croaking (like a rusty garden gate) of pheasants in the garden.
The location is perfect to explore the area of Exmoor and to try out all the pups near by.
We had good communication with agent and the well constructed info file provided explained every thing we needed to know.

We have just returned from a week in Porlock Weir (Harbour House Studio).
Marvellous accomodation in a fantastic setting. Just right for a lovely walking holiday in this suberb area.
We will be back!

Really enjoyed our short break at the cottage. Great location . Saturday night a little noisy as it backs onto a pub which had live music that night. Our weather was very chilly so great to have walks on the doorstep. Parking permit was much appreciated.

We stayed at High Bank in Porlock and found it to be a lovely cosy but spacious cottage. Very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the coastal walks, especially around the Valley of Rocks. Porlock is a beautiful village with many amenities.

Love Exmoor! Beautiful moor with easy walks. Lots of interesting coastal villages. Dulverton is a great little town.

Stayed in Chapel Cottage, Exford. Fantastic cottage in great location. Well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Oodles of hot water and efficient heating made for a warm stay, despite the weather. Great customer service from owner/manager of the property. Would recommend and look forward to staying there again.

We think that it is worth mentioning that whilst you are lying in bed you can hear the sea crashing in on the shore below. What’s not to like about this lovely cottage and its sea view location?!
Thank you for the bottle of wine and the milk all waiting in the fridge for us on our arrival.
A four minute walk to the sea shore and dogs welcome in The Ship pub.

The Cherries in Porlock is really comfortable and a well equipped bungalow, great location for walks and pub lunches. Excellent utility area, would recommend.

A beautiful warm and inviting cottage in lovely location strongly recommend visiting the Luttrell Arms and enjoying a glass of wine or beer in a beautiful bar. The deer park is good for walking.
The cottage has some great tech giving you all the things you need for a comfortable stay.

Just back from a long weekend at Redway Lodge. Perfect for a large group of friends. Comfortable sofas, large well stocked Kitchen with a large table. 4 large bedrooms all en suite. Plenty of parking.
The Top Ship pub is a 5 minute walk, it is a real oldie world pub that serves a great Sunday lunch, and is very reasonably priced. Or if you fancy a longer walk the Bottom Ship is a 30 minute walk In Porlock Weir.

Such a lovely cozy cottage, full of character and tasteful yet practical interior design in an amazing location. Created a wonderful weekend break with family. Plenty within walking distance and the hosts were very helpful at resolving any issues and queries. Would highly recommend

We enjoyed another wonderful stay at Pebble Cottage. The cottage is such a relaxing haven with everything on its doorstep. Comfy beds, lovely furniture and touches throughout, it really is a very special place, thank you.
The Best of Exmoor are so helpful, always on hand to answer any queries and if they can't give you an answer straight away they come back to you very quickly. I am a repeat booker, in fact I don't book anywhere else these days :-)

Really enjoyed the cottage, absolutely ideal location for us and our two Flatcoats. Lots of great walks directly from the property and the field was a real bonus. Very comfortable and spacious cottage. Will definitely return.

A lovely, characterful house in a stunning location, I have no hesitation in recommending it. The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and the house is warm and comfortable. Dunster and Porlock are nearby and there’s fabulous walking straight out the front door. We will definitely stay again (and it’s dog-friendly too).
