Our early experience of That Round has been entirely positive. I'm always pleased to see one of their decks pop up in my inbox as I know it's going to be relevant to our criteria and of good quality. The intro mechanism is easy and efficient, and the prompts for feedback on a decline are useful for founders and VCs alike (for the latter it forces clarity of thinking). Excited to see the flywheel effect as more deal flow comes through, feels like a good option for the UK early-stage scene to coalesce around.

Raising early-stage capital usually means endless pitch forms, data rooms, and repeating the same information to different investors. This platform massively simplifies that. Everything is centralised, well-structured, and saves a huge amount of time and admin during a raise.

The platform is easy to access and apply through. We were able to connect to a number of investor opportunities that would have otherwise been hard. The investor groups responded quickly which is not often the experience if you go direct.

Significant traction since joining

Using ThatRound was a seamless experience from start to finish. The platform was simple to navigate, efficient, and provides a transparent view of the fundraising process. It made it easy to understand where we stood, helping us stay informed and prepared throughout.

As a Founder seeking investment we have spent a lot of time and indeed money resulting in ‘zero’. Then Bradley reached out and he was the first platform owner ‘not to sell his services to us, provide us with honest feedback and indeed advise us that raising more investment would be a ‘challenge!’. So we accepted his challenge and within twelve hours of approving our pitch we are already in comms with two potential advisors. Have we raised yet? ‘No’ but Bradley and ‘That Round’ have delivered so far, now it’s up to us to achieve a successful conclusion. Would i recommend ‘That Round?’ - yes, absolutely!

We have been on a merry go round of brokers promising to deliver investment only to find out that they cannot deliver anything. We have been strung along by VC funds as well as family offices. When we thought that we were at a complete dead end Bradley from “That round” contacted me via linked in and persuaded me to give his platform a go. I can only say we should have have done this 12 months ago. We have put out pitch deck into 6 different angel networks and been approved to pitch within 2 weeks. The guys that declined us also give us feedback as to why, this is so valuable a startup business requiring funding. I could not recommend this platform highly enough.

The website is well structured, clear, and easy to use. It's a great idea to have a place where founders can record their experiences with different investors, share reviews, and help to make the experience a whole lot better.
The only reason it's not 5 starts is it needs more content, but that will no doubt come with time.
