Staff not helpful, we had a buggy and a baby and they kept asking us to close the buggy and moving to one side to the other of the boat. Very bad service, not coming back.

6 people (3 groups of strangers) were waiting at the Chelsea Harbour Pier for the 9.17pm Uber boat. We saw it go past us without stopping.
We are here on a short vacation and paid for this ride. Really upset and pissed off because not only will we not get to utilise the ride, we also wasted 2.5 hours of our evening commuting and waiting for the 9.17pm boat that could be better spent doing something else on our itinerary, plus wasted our tube money. This is totally unacceptable.

Having mis-read the special conditions surrounding "concessions", I purchased online 2 x 60+ tkts, but I wasn't allowed to board the ferry because I did not have evidence of our DOB. This meant that we had to pay again by credit card.
I contacted "Uber Boat by Thames Clippers" via their online contact form requesting a refund for the unused tickets and although it was my error, I have received the refund.
With the above in mind, all I can say is "EXCELLENT" customer service from Catia

I had a terrible experience with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers. Despite having a valid ticket, I was denied boarding because the boat was "full" — which I find hard to believe since I had a guaranteed seat. To make matters worse, the boat that was supposed to pick me up didn’t even stop at the pier, and another boat that followed passed by without stopping either. To top it off, the timetable was completely wrong, adding to the confusion and wasting my time.
This was incredibly frustrating, and I not only lost my money but also a lot of time. I expected much better service and communication, and I definitely won't be using this service again

Pre purchased the express service on Feb 12 for £37.50, for what was advertised as an express service, but instead, it made many stops, similar to a regular service. The ride took twice as long and yet was more than twice the price as a regular service (£5.60). So there is in fact no such thing as an express service, and customer service say they can make all the stops they want and too bad. What a rip off!
The response I received from the team indicated that they value the feedback but refuse to offer any refund even though others boarded the ferry, asked for stops not on the express route, and paid less than half what we did, tapping in and out. The ridiculous offer of two hot drinks for my three purchased tickets was insulting. No thanks, we will never use the service again.
As a paying customer, I expect the service to match its description, and I am disappointed with the lack of resolution. Please don’t waste more of my time responding unless you’re offering a refund.

The boats themselves are an excellent way to travel. Recently I had an issue after a journey but Patricia in customer service dealt with great courtesy and care for which I am very grateful.

Caught the Uber Boat today from Battersea Power Station to North Greenwich. We had no idea what we had to do but a member of staff at Battersea couldn't have been more helpful, sorting out tickets for us and making sure we got on the right boat. When we got on the boat the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The boat itself was really clean and comfortable. We'd been advised to switch boats at London Bridge which we did, and again while waiting there, the staff member was really helpful, asking everyone where they were going and making sure they knew where to be. We were very impressed.
The trip itself was a great way to see London from the water, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend:)

Although my experience didn't get off to the best start when I tried to book tickets in advance online & the portal crashed twice just as I was completing the transaction, things got better. It was actually extremely easy to tap in with a contactless card when boarding the boat. The journey was comfortable & efficient & I will definitely use it again. The problem came later in the evening when I discovered that one of the "failed" transactions had actually gone through which resulted in paying twice for the one journey. The reason for still giving 4* is that the customer service is very good. 10 days after registering my complaint I received an email asking for proof of the TFL tap in charge & within 2 hours a refund was agreed.
No service is perfect, but it's how you handle the mistakes that makes the difference - thank you!
