Wanted to book the park and glide but didn’t realise it had to be booked the day before… I didn’t see that on the website but it’s half the price to do it that way

Got a refund from Thames Clipper without to much trouble although, the incident could have been resolved at source if the unfriendly female operative at the London Eye pier would have given me concession options instead of charging me a ridiculous price to get to Canary Wharf. On my return a Thames Clipper operative called Norman was very friendly and helpful, showing me my concession options on his device, aiding my preferable purchase, thanks Norman. The refund/complaints team were very responsive and helpful. I thank them for their support.

I'm very dissapointed, due to several delays and an hour later (boat full, boat didn't come don't know why) we deceided not to use the Uberboat, we tried to get our 34 pounds back, but because we only could get them online they couln't give us a refund at the checkout. They advised us to send a mail. We did so and now they are telling us that we can only can get a credit and not our money back. We made a weekendtrip from the Netherlands, so a credit is not really a solution. Very disappointing!

My daughter and I were looking forward to our ferry trip, but the day before, we tested positive for Covid. We cancelled, but didn’t have much hope for a refund. To our surprise, we received a note from Patricia at Uber Boat, saying that she had given us a full refund! As soon as we are well, we will be on that boat on the Thames. Wonderful company.

I was at greenwich north pier yesterday, enquiring about fares on UBER app, i didnt want to buy ticket just enquiring.
UBER app has taken £10.20 x3 times in total £30.60 !
customer services told me '' not to use the UBER app ' to book a ticket due to them having so many issues with customers trying to pay online with UBER app for the boat, and getting disconnected while attempting to purchase.
I have been given so much incorrect information on how and whom to complain to to get a refund my head is dizzy.
The UBER app relies on both wi fi and or data connection to book a ticket.
The app took £30.60 from my account for tickets i didnt book nor use!
bear in mind one cannot phone customer services for UBER boat complaints! be warned if your blind! or have disabilities as you can ONLY USE EMAIL!
i have had to get help from friend to write this email and also warn other travellers about my experience with UBER boats in london and the booking farce.

I’m appalled that drunks with alcohol bottles allowed on , it’s regular , it’s intimidating, causing damage to vessel etc , loud, scary , aggressive can also assault, not acceptable, should not be allowed as a regular customer 4 times a week

I used the chat bot and then was put through to an agent Patricia. The conversation started quickly (no long wait), she clearly understand my problem and resolved it fully without any fuss. We had to complete the refund with a telephone call. Patricia was friendly and polite. Great service thank you.

Not having travelled on the Thames Clipper for years, I planned a river journey from Canary Wharf to Battersea, to treat two visiting family members to the landmark sights along the route. They had paper day travel cards, whilst I was using my ApplePay for all the tube / bus journeys on the day. However, in error I bought three identical boat tickets, including a wrong one for me. As I was not able to travel on it, I asked to upgrade it (i.e. pay the difference to the correct fare). but as I was the last person to board, the staff then literally just pulled the access bridge away, so that I got separated from my family to be left behind, even after paying another fare via Oyster / Contactless touch in at the boarding point. I protested that we were a group of three, and only reluctantly did they put the bridge back so that I could also board. This Oyster / Contactless payment option was not clear when I got our tickets at the ticket machine on the pier, and the reader is only down at the boarding check point. So, I ended up paying two fares for my own journey. The on-board staff then told me I could get a refund for the erroneous surplus ticket, and gave me a phone number and email address. I called the number, but automated information stated that refunds were not part of their policy. When I raised this with one of the staff members, he berated me rudely, saying that it was my fault that I bought a wrong ticket and nothing to do with them (Uber Boat), then even making comments as to how it was “in the country I (we) were from”, which were bordering on being racist. In fact, I have lived in London for most of my adult life. That was the appalling level of customer care for me and my guests, when we were all hoping to enjoy a leisure day out together. Our journey was ruined by disgraceful staff behaviour and the poor operational policies and procedures of Uber Boat / Thames Clipper.

Booked a family day ticket and planned a day out in London travelling by boat but unable to use the tickets. The 1st boat we planned to take we were told there was a minimum 40 minute wait for (from Embankment), we walked to Tate Modern instead. The 2nd boat we planned to take we were told there was a 25 minute wait for a boat that was quite likely to be full and might or might not even stop there. We gave up then. I have contacted the company to ask for a refund. The staff we spoke to were polite but the boat service was rubbish and it spoilt what was meant to be a fun family day out.

I have never been on a transport network where I had to produce my ticket so many times, to so many different staff, when you board AND when you disembark, and then have 'revenue officers' aboard as well who checked my ticked again, three times, by three inspectors, on one 15 minute river journey. This service is convoluted, dissorganised, unclear, and chaotic. Easily the worst ferry service I have used globaly.

We were at Tower of London and wanted to go to Greenwich. One adult and one child. We booked the ticket online onsite. When we went to get into the pier we were told next boat in 45.mins. We came back then and were told 40.min delay and boat is full so no guarantee we can board. He advised us to scan our ticket and go and wait but he said the queue is long. I asked how long and he says no guarantee we can board for 2 hours!!! Really???!! So I paid 30.pounds for tickets I cannot use and money i cannot get back??!! I'm absolutely shocked at this. It's a rip off!

Planning a trip in the Thames clipper tomorrow with my two young children. A few weeks ago I used the website to research tickets / times etc. decided on a park and glide ticket. I didn’t book at that stage as having young children things can change and there was no mention of this being an advance ticket price.
Today I tried to book for tomorrow and the earliest date I can book is 5th November. Tried using the online chat which apparently opens at 10am - it’s now 12:48 and still not available to chat. Obviously to phone lines etc…
Very disappointed with this lack of information in the website

If I could give a Zero I would. Disgraceful service. We were going to the O2 on the 28th September, prepaid for tickets for the clipper. Arrived just after 5pm as we wanted to get there early. We couldn’t get on the first 3 boats that came as they were all full, the last boat to arrive was a tiny boat. The lady working that night was too interested in her phone and sending messages, completely ignoring passengers who were trying to find out what’s going on. In the end if got to 7.20pm and we ended up having to get the underground as we couldn’t risk waiting for another boat which could be full too. After eventually not being ignored by staff, when we asked for a refund, we were told that she can’t do it and we’ll have to contact Uber. Contacted them on Sunday, now 7 days passed and I’m still waiting for a reply. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a so called reputable international company. Don’t know why prepaid passengers aren’t given priority boarding over other passenger paying on the day.

Such a shame that our first boat ride for a birthday celebration was a total horror .
Twice the boat arrived and picked up passengers from the wrong end of the queue . People from all over the world waiting in a back to front queue .
Didn’t even bother using the tickets for the return journey . It’s expensive and rubbish .
It’s not that the staff were rude they were just incompetent . How can you be told to queue up and then the people at the back are let in first ??
It was like a carry on film . When the second boat arrived and the exact same thing happened everyone started running. The queue was unsupervised and it was scary .
The staff said this happened often ?
How can this be it must break health and safety rules and more .
Tourists can be annoying but today I felt embarrassed that they had all been essentially robbed of time and money by Uber .
What a total joke .
I don’t do enquiry forms as if they are anything like TFLs just don’t bother . Tick box exercise that does not even come back . So I won’t be contacting your customer services please don’t ask me to . Nothing else to say .
