Teva; quality in free fall
After 11 days of using a pair of sandals the strap broke. I just used it for normal walking and going to my job. This model is considered the strongest and waterproof model btw. The strap wich hold your feet on the sandal was NOT made in one piece, inside the rubber sole it's cute, and glued together. This is not a coincidence, they make the sandals like this. So they don't last long, it destroys itself automatically after some time. My last trip in latin America I did with the same model, but there occurred another problem. The straps can NOT resist the head from the beach, and pulverize in a few weeks.

Ik schreef hier eerder een negatieve ervaring met TEVA-eu.com maar die wil ik bijstellen. Iemand anders schreef het al eerder: de klacht wordt wel opgelost, het gaat echter nogal onhandig 😬. Mijn probleem was dat ik de melding ‘betaling mislukt’ kreeg terwijl er wel geld van mijn rekening af was geschreven. Het schijnt dat ik mijn e-mail adres verkeerd heb ingevuld. Mja, dán verwacht je de melding: ‘betaling gelukt, e-mailadres klopt niet’. Ik zat dus even in spanning sinds vrijdag, maar vandaag, op woensdag, heb ik de door mij bestelde sandalen in goede orde ontvangen. Tegelijk met een excuusmailtje en alsnog een bestelbevestiging.

Det er det IKKE. Fodtøjet kommer fra Kina og er ikke noget værd. Firmaet refundere ikke dit tilgodehavende men holder dig hen med mails om at beløbet er på vej tilbage til din konto. Pengene kommer bare aldrig.

would LOVE to put a ZERO rating. I have spent the morning with customer service on a discount that is shown on their website, but it wouldn't show on my order. they said, that is not valid now BUT IT WAS STILL ON THE WEBSITE. NOT MY FAULT THEY DIDN'T get it down on time! THIS is ridiculous and makes me not want to buy their product anymore.

Both my daughter and I bought Teva Tirra sandles for our trip to Disneyland. Half way through day 1 we both had blisters on backbof heals, and blisters and top of foot on bone by big toe.
We had to wear socks with the sandles the rest of the week.
At $85 a pair - I would never by another Teva sandal.
We really thought these would be great. Comfortable to walk on but gives blisters at all straps.
Never again!!

Scam site, ordered a pair of sandals and received a pair of spurious looking sunglasses. Mailed Teva, no reply. Beware!
Return pick up failure
I ordered sandals online on May 5 23. I decided I didn't want them and followed the online instructions for returning them. I put package in my post box at the end of May to be picked up by the laughingly named Post Haste. It's still there! I've followed this up several times by email.
Nominally it's the courier's fault, but the buck stops with Teva. They should have apologised directly to me and arranged pickup with a more conscientious courier.
And it's Teva who are hanging on to my $120.
De sandalen zijn fantastisch, service erg slecht
De sandalen van Teva zijn fantastisch, maar de service is ronduit slecht. Inmiddels 3,5 week geleden sandalen besteld. Van UPS ontving ik een bericht dat de zending beschadigd was geraakt en retour werd gestuurd. Daarna heb ik van UPS en Teva niets meer vernomen. Inmiddels heb ik 2 keer contact gezocht met de klantenservice van Teva. De eerste keer kreeg ik na een paar dagen een reactie die niet erg duidelijk was. Het is nog steeds niet duidelijk of er nou nieuwe sandalen worden verstuurd.
BEWARE: Do not do business with Teva especially if you may return something…

I placed an order and returned some shoes keeping 1 pair. I noticed I hadn't received any refund so I chatted with someone from Teva. They said they did receive the returns and initiated the refund. I waited some time and still no refund although I received an email stating that the returns were received and that a refund was initiated. That said, I still saw no refund on my credit card statement and it has been some time already. I go to chat with someone again. It was time consuming and pointless and they couldn't assist getting some type of manager. Manager was even worse and accusatory. First he said that they never received anything from me but then he said they received an empty box, and that they never received anything. I told him this wasn't true as I have the email confirmation from USPS as a box was received. I admit where I messed up was not saving the tracking number however Teva would have this.... I and told him I don't like being accused that I'm lying. No apology from him was given to me and the last thing he said was "I will get a task submitted for you so that we can get you taken care of". When I continued to try to discuss this matter with him, crickets as the chat feature didn't say read or anything like that and I had the chat open for several minutes after seeing the last thing he typed. At this point I'm going through my credit card company to dispute the charge. Do not do business with Teva. I have never been treated this way before. On top of it I shouldn't have to keep tracking down Teva employees to look into things for me. I will not purchase anything from Teva again and I will not wear their shoes out and about because I do not want to advertise their company for them where people may experience the same thing.

Disappointed by the quality and customer service. Ordered a pair of sandals which broke after 2 short wears. Definitely not the quality expected at that price ! Also , no reply from customer service within a week to clarify a refund or replacement.

Abbiamo comprato un paio di sandali da regalare, la confezione interna ci arriva i pessime condizioni, apriamo la scatola e troviamo 2 destri. Una figura oscena inimmaginabile visto che abbiamo comprato il regalo per un conoscente che vive lontano.
Non esiste una mail del servizio clienti e al telefono non sanno manco loro quello che dicono.

Teva construction not as good as used to be, falls apart
Been buying Teva Hurricanes for 25 years. Last 4 pairs, the soles separate, straps come off. Not buying anymore because manufacturing quality not what it used to be
Great customer service & replacement
I contacted customer service on the basis of some glue issues on a sandal for my partner, they swiftly advised me to return etc. with a pre paid label.
Within a few weeks this was replaced, swiftly dispatched and received as a brand new replacement pair.

Website listing sandals they don’t have in stock
I do not recommend. Placed an order for sandals on May 29, and when I placed the order I got an e-mail saying “Please note that we are experiencing very high volume of orders, and as a result it may take a little longer than usual for your order to ship out.” It did not say that when I made the order, only once I paid and they sent a confirmation order. So I waited until today (June 6, pretty long for an established shoe brand) they cancelled my order because they don’t have my shoe in stock. Yet somehow I can go to their site and still make an order for the exact same shoe and size, why are they still taking orders and money for a shoe that’s not in stock? I’m now waiting for them to lift the authorization on my credit card. When they cancelled my order the email said “this doesn’t happen often”, but looking at these reviews it does. And it will happen for everyone that places an order for the shoe I wanted.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service! Don't buy their shoes. They're selling shoes that are out of stock and they just cancel your orders without notification. They are like parrots that keep saying it's policy policy policy. I haven't seen customer service like that. I spent an hour talking with them and just wasted my time. I will never buy teva in my life. Great job teva.
Good service, limited warranty
Update:
The dialog with Israeli distributor started and I got the the attitude one would expect from the respected customer service. I got full explanation why my case is not under warranty and how I can resolve the issue while staying within warranty terms. More than that - the head office in USA kindly suggested me to send a new pair of sandals despite they are not obligated to do that for the customers outside the USA. So, yes - I nicely surprised from that. Additional update about sandals - they got the smell of rubber, but still strong and durable and will last many years.

My review is about TEVA sandals. First month of wearing they were OK. But suddenly they started to make strange noise while I am walking. The noise is created after the shoe is exposed to water - either by walking in water or washing it. The noise is as if you press hard on a material that has absorbed water and the water exit out of the material. The noise is really unpleasant and can be heard well while walking. My assumption is that the reason for the noise is water that enters the shoe in the front part where the straps enter the sole. I sent the sandals to their representitive in Israel Kal Gav including the record of the noise and they refused to fix it by claiming that no problem was found. Chated to Teva customer service and they refused to accept it as they were not bought in USA. Just understand that - the product manufacture refuses to fix their priducts and also tells you lies during the chat that water damages are not covered by warranty. They advise to wash sandals with water and soap but lies that it can cause damage and will not be covered. What a disgusting service.
