I wish there was a “0” star to give
I wish there was a “0” star to give. We purchased a new internet plan with Telus, they were supposed to come do the installation last week. Except that their team forgot to issue an order to Bell to come and do the prep work for them. So comes the day of the installation they couldn’t do it. Meantime, we lost internet because we cancelled the old plan. Telus blamed the whole situation on Bell’s team and confirms to us over the phone that they now issued the order to Bell to do the installation on week later. We had to restart a new plan with our previous service provider until we get through a week.
Today is the day ( one week later). Same story again. Internet is cut, no Bell technician shows up and no Telus technician shows up. We receive a call at the end of the day telling us the same story, about the order to Bell was not issued and therefore they will
Issue it now and we will
Have to wait 2 more weeks to get the internet up and running. On the other hand, our previous internet provider refuses to give us internet again and Telus claim it is not their problem and not their mistake.
So far, we have lost 2 days of vacation, and we have to wait another 2 weeks, take another day of vacation and we are not even sure it will be done in 2 weeks.
Worst service we ever received from Telus and therefore professionalism is very disappointing to say the least.

I just had the worst experience with Telus again and then I go into the reviews and I see that it has one star I’m sure it would have none if we would be able to, but you can’t. I am not surprised. I’m sure you guys are losing business. You are not giving any customer a good service you’re giving us a hard time last time I called that they couldn’t help me cause I didn’t have the account number this time I called. I have the account number and we’re a little family business I give them the address account number phone number the name of my family that’s in the file and it wasn’t enough. They needed to know at what time I went to bed yesterday and continue asking me for questions and the problem is is one of the sensors are broken so it’s for two days. The alarm has been saying sensor broken, but you know what they called me only this morning to tell me that so if it would’ve been somebody, they would had two days to rob my store so I think you guys have to change your waist. There’s no way no way that you guys are not losing money right now impossible impossible. Your customer service sucks. We’re in 2026. You might as well hire only robots which is white or black you have humans they should have logic and that’s it.
I never dealt with Telus before I’m always with Shaw. I don’t know why my husband decided to tell us. We were so busy when we opened the store so I wasn’t paying attention but never never again and I can’t believe if they continue like that we’re gonna hear in five years that tell us dead bankruptcy or somebody else like Shaw‘s gonna buy them it’s ridiculous or Rogers or whatever it’s gonna buy them

Experience is terrible, telus called me and I was cheerful and greeted the lady on the other line cheerfully and she called me stupid find yourself a different provider where when you get a call from them they won’t call you stupid for being cheerful

Telus as a whole gone down
As a customer for home security services, TV service, internet and mobility. I can honestly say the service has gotten severely poor.
I wanted to set up a digital thermometer through the app to my furnace i had one at my old home. I inquired about an offer i received this one was a plus service.
What was failed to be mentioned was that. I was already apparently being charged for a thermometer on a plan when I bought my home and they set up my home security system. . Ll
I was livid. Let get back yo the beginning first
They helped me set up to have the smart thermometer set up as well as 2 plug( smart plug ins).yhe lady said go on your telus app set it up a tech appointment when you receive the items. mmm.. ok .normally this is done by you a few weeks out.
So I wait i get the items.. my app wont allow me to set up an appointment I call telus.. the girl can't figure out why the last person didn't set up the appointment as she can't figure out how she can do it for me. . She theb sees in my bundle I have been paying for a thermometer for 3 years.
I said I have not. I do not have one and have not had one since moving to this home except the one that came with the home..
My husband then explains the tech said he could not put one in due to the wiring not being compatible with the one he brought. The tech said he was going to notify telus and remove it.
Telus never did so never reached out regarding it. News to me. The one who pays the bill and under the bundle fee it just home security bundle not the items you pay for.
So now I get sent to loyalty where I am upset I explained to several peoole and get exacaled even higher.
I state, if my contract says I cannot breach it or I am charged my fees for canceling or anything it's breached.
It goes both ways telus breached the contract the last 3 years by not providing all items in the contract for 3 years and not catching that on their end and bot providing a full break down on what was provided in the bundle on each bill. How can I catch it if its not showing.
I stated I do not want just a refund for the item in the bundle that was missing . I have been paying for an incomplete contract for 3 year thars dishonest and a breach of contract. I want every penny back for yhe last 3 years. Had I not went to request this item for my home.. I would have never found this out. I told them I would escalated this to the. CCTS. If this was not handle accordingly. I felt like they were still trying to bully me but I was not backing down.
I was refunded . I stood strong and refused to back down. They also switched the missing item for a large door opener sent a tech for the thermometer and garage door opener.
Then telus has a tech come to set up my stuff says hes there only for the garage door never received a ticket for the the thermostat. I was frustrated they charged me $250 for this appointment.
I jump on the phone with telus I ask why this man was sent but cannot complete the job it appears he is not trained in smart thermometer set up.
Telus advises they will send a tech same day. At first advise of a cost I say no this was suppose to be part of the current call out and telus sent out a tech not qualified I would appreciate it if I wasnt charge for this after it wasnt my error.
They agree abd agreed to waive the charge and say a tech will be there withing 2 hours
Before the tech shows up my card is charged for him coming. I call telus so mad.. they say we can refund you or add it as a credit to your bill. I waited 3 weeks for that refund they had to send a cheque.
Crazy they can take it real quick can't return it the same way . unauthorized to take my money and did so.. theft ?
Someone the tech comes and this new thermostat he brings. cannot be set up either apparently something about wiring. So now i know this wish I knew before .
I speak with telus let them know what happened how I had no knowledge of this being and issue at all prior to ordering. Telus likely would have had notes I hope .
The lady fron retention saod send back the thermometers and the smart plug ins because the tech that came actually both said it makes zero sense that they would set me up on a second security app when I am using one Ellery through telus it is added work .
Telus advised me send my items back and they will refund me any charges to do with items ( monthly or deposits)
Next thing I get charges full price for the thermostat. I ge charged monthly for the plug ins. Thermostat i was reimbursed. plug ins they gave me a credit for the them because they cannot fix the system to remove it or alter details about it. So monthly a small fee comes out now .
ordered a Samsung watch for my daughter my husband told them many times my wife is authorized on my account she pays the bills her email is main email like she does everything he made the account due to moving to the province first during a cross country move.lady put the order on hold because I inquired why it wasnt processed or shipped. Still nothing.

If I could give Telus a negative star review, it wouldn’t be negative enough.
Just for context on the absolutely ridiculous things Telus has put me through, I have never written a review before—but they made me so mad I had to.
The runaround this company puts you through just to speak to a competent human is insane. I fully believe the goal of Telus is not to actually help anybody, but to transfer you to another person and say no so many times that eventually you just give up.
I had an actual problem that should have been a simple fix, but instead I was transferred so many times (11, to be exact) and given so many different phone numbers to call that I ended up just switching to another company (which has a better plan for way less money, by the way).
Basically, you’d probably get better customer service from a carrier pigeon than from Telus.

They had two accounts running for me.
Then they said I wasn’t paying my bill.
They checked the other account and I had a six-month credit. 🤦🏽
I asked them to close the account.
They didn’t
This went on for six years.
I eventually ask them to close all accounts.
They didn’t
Instead they let thee accounts run like a library book worth five dollars, I now owed them 3000🤮
They should’ve closed thee accounts after two missed payments.
Why keep the scam running?

If I could give only half a point I would because the salesman lied to our face about all the fees though we asked up and down about all the possible fees and they make little allowances for making payment plans and do not hold to them as they cut you off early and ding you with MORE fees due to them cutting services off BEFORE the cutoff date so I will never recommend this company to anyone or ever associate with them again, they’re a shitty company.

I’m extremely frustrated with Telus. I’ve been waiting over three weeks for my refund, and the process has been a nightmare. I’ve spent hours on the phone, spoken with multiple representatives, and submitted several disputes, yet nothing has been resolved.
The website is full of glitches – support case links do not work on multiple devices or browsers, making it impossible to track my case. Communication is slow, and it feels like my time is not valued at all. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I cannot recommend their customer service.

I have all my services with Telus, I spent hundreds of hundreds per month with Telus and everytime I try to call customer support it’s never helpful. All they do is try to redirect you to the app, I don’t even know where they find these people to hire at the call center. They’re so useless and run around questions or act like they don’t know anything, just today I had a representative give me attitude since I said I wanted to get a cheaper plan, he then made me wait on the line for 20 minutes and came back and said “I have an emergency so I’m going to hangup I’ll have someone call you back in 10 minutes”. Never got a call back obviously! I’ve never had a good experience and their AI bot when you first call is the absolute worst you have to answer a load of questions before it even tries to connect you to someone real, I’ve noticed whenever I say I want to add a service or spend more money the connection to a real representative is almost instant but if I ever say I want to cancel or change something it takes 30+ minutes of wait time. Really interesting they only care about taking your money. Honestly thinking about completely cancelling all my services once my contract is up smh. Very surprising way to treat a customer that spends that much every month and has all their services with you.

Worst service one can imagine from a telecom company. I have been a telus customer for a long time. Today I called to inquire about my service agreement. First it was responded by robot, after several minutes of auto responses, I managed to speak with a representative. He took over 30 minutes to answer my simple questions. Then he transferred to another department and I am forced to listen boring music for over 48 minutes and no response. It is extremely frustrating.
Telus fail.
Telus services are ridiculously overpriced. I have internet, phone, TV and home security. Cost is in the area of $350+/month. Customer service is a total fail. Their website is a bewildering labyrinth of advertising, up sell, and cute animal pictures but nowhere to get an answer to a question. You just go around in circles wasting your time. You can't get in touch with anyone. There are no phone numbers, no email address's. You must talk to a robot that doesn't offer any useful information. Clearly their attitude is "give us your money, but don't bother us. We don't want to hear about any issues." I can't even figure out how to tell them I want to close everything and go somewhere else.
Headaches and problems a plenty
For starters the salesperson lied about what I was signing up for in order to close the deal. They promised everything on one bill, it was a lie. They promised a security service that would bring me peace, it did not because the internet telus provides isnt strong enough for the security system to be reliable. Billing issues all the way from first bill and customer service reps with no clue on how to resolve. Best thing I ever did was leave Telus and they make that process take a couple days!

Je suis partie et revenue 1h plus tard . Il y avait 5 clients moi inclus . Jamais été servie après 45 minutes d'attente encore.
