Didn't deliver, awful customer service and overcharging
My Land Rover needed a part replacing that had to be done by an authorised repairer. They were my 2nd closest authorised dealer at 40 miles away, but I had little choice.
I booked in to wait while the work was done.
However, the replacement part was damaged, so they were apologetic, said it could be done the next day gave me a loan car and waived the charge for it as they were letting me down.
The car had 80 miles of petrol, and then on my return with the gauge at 55 miles, they said they would charge me £15 to pay for this 15 miles of fuel!
I took it to the petrol station, but as the gauge didn't update properly, I ended up paying £12 anyway, which took it all the way to 110 miles. Giving them 30 miles petrol.
I asked if they would pay me the difference and they smirked saying that it was now at the same level.
So they didn't deliver the work on the day they said (as the part wasn't checked). I then had to incur the costs of this delay, and then ended up giving them 40 miles of petrol.
As for the invoice itself, I understand they can charge premium Land Rover labour rates meaning nearly £300 of labout on an invoice for just over £400, but this was as far from premium service as you can get.
Avoid.
