Windows version
I bought a license for Windows. I don't use the software often, so each time I use it it requests me to log in again. This is very annoying and beats the reason of using a lightweight pdf editor. The worst part is that it requests Windows administrator priviledges with each Windows start. Since it it invasive I decided to uninstall it.

Ungeeignet zur Konvertierung PDF in DWG.
Swifdoo eignet sich nicht zur Konvertiertung von PDF in DWG. Nach eigener Aussage, nachdem das Programm gekauft war, geht das nur wenn man selbst eine DWG Zeichung in PDF konvertiert hat, und diese wieder rückkonvertieren will. Die Empfehlung lautet: Nachzeichnen oder die Original-CAD verwenden.
Zurückzahlen weil das Programm trotz Werbeversprechen ungeeignet ist, will man nicht. Vielleicht liest ein Abmahnanwalt mit. Mailverkehr kann ich zur Verfügung stellen.

Great PDF Editor
I have the PDF product. I needed to be able to edit/highlight/notate on PDF files and this was was a better priced option.
Extremely capable app that does everything I need it to. My only complaint is having to log in to get full features. I'd prefer that they just give you a key in case you need to use it offline.

Kann von dem Programm nur abraten.
Die Funktionen sind gut. Man muss sich allerdings regelmäßig in kurzen Abständen neu anmelden, um alle Funktionen nutzen zu können, auch bei der "Lebenslanglizenz". Das ist unglaublich nervig, würde das Programm nicht wieder kaufen.

For lifetime licenses, the short online check is unfortunately still needed in our current version to verify the license status and prevent unauthorized use. We completely understand how disruptive this feels, especially when you’ve already paid for a “lifetime” product, and we agree it’s not the ideal experience. Our team is actively working on a fully offline-capable authentication system, we’d like to make this right for you.

Basic functionality is okay but I have…
Basic functionality is okay but I have a lot of issues, some are minor, others serious.
1. Poor compatibility with Acrobat. SwifDoo has trouble opening PDFs with imbedded functionality, like fill in the blanks. Also, files encrypted with SwifDoo can’t be opened with Acrobat.
2. Missing useful functions, like a printer driver so you can “Print to a PDF”. Which is something I find really useful.
3. The user interface is not intuitive. For example, there is no scroll bar on the right side of the screen. And the software always takes you back to the same page you were on the last time the file was open. It’s a nice trick, if you like it, but you can’t turn it off.
4. I have a perpetual license. But once a month the software forces you to log in again. Very annoying.
I have more, but you get the idea. I give the software 2.5 stars. I do not recommend it and I would not buy it again.

Works as advertised, but?
The product does everything I tried to include adding pages, editing text including adding, deleting and changing. It can do more but I haven't tried it. My only problem is that it is built and based in China. China has a policy that the government owns part of every company and they could have embeded nefarious code in the software.

I tried this software on line, and it managed to convert a PDF to a DWG file. I decided to by the PCversion, and when I tried to convert the same file, I got blank sheets with grid lines across it. I contacted them, and they say that it is the source file. I pointed out that the same source file was successfully converted on their own online service, and on another company's free online service. I asked for a refund, as the software is useless to me, but they said that they do not refund activated software. I do not recommend it, it is waste of money, and I shall continue to insist on a refund.

Functionality dissatisfying
The functionality of SwifDoo is mediocre, not worth the money. Many competing apps offer similar functions, those however are for free. The wording in the advertising implies more. I would never spend money on it. I will observe, whether they will "constantly improve" their product.
