I had booked the day trip from Cairo to Alexandria, and it was wonderful experience with Mohammed and Mustafa. I was picked up on schedule, a great drive through the countryside to Alexandria. Then a full day of sight seeing; forth the catacombs of Kon El Shoqafa, then the Pillar of Pompey, then Qaitbay Citadel and the new Alexandria Library. With an amazing g fresh fish lunch on the waterfront. It was a great experience, highly recommended!

Dina Magdy was very good in working with us in planning our trip .
There was no meet and greet at baggage claim as other companies provided . There should have been .
Cairo : Osama , our greeter was outside at the door, very professional. We had flight delay so could not do our paid “ Coptic Cairo” tour . He was willing to accommodate us but SunPyramid Company would not without additional payment. I deduct one star for the company for not working with client for delayed flight .
Our guide Mary was excellent with her knowledge, helpful taking photographs.
Luxor : our coordinator was excellent, our guide Milad was average .
Aswan : Our coordinator Homar was excellent. We had flight delay , but He made sure we got to see most of what was in our tour by rearranging times . Our driver Mr. Mohammad was super excellent with his driving and courtesy.
Abu Simbel : Our coordinator and guide were below average .
Experience at Cairo Airport : Domestic and International was not good . Porters kept hustling, didn’t allow us to put luggage on security belt without paying money . Coordinators should accompany clients upto that point otherwise the driver can do the job of loading carts .

Adel was helpful and kind and explained many things about ancient Egypt. He was patient and gave us all the time for experiencing every moment. We had the chance of vising a carpet school also, and it was a very interesting addition.

Kareim Gomaa is an incredible nice, easy-going guy with a lot of knowledge about the area. We were not pushed to buy stuff and he immediately felt like an Egyptian friend to us. Thanks!!

We had a great morning with Amr exploring the Khan El Khalili Markets. Amr was very kind and polite. We also enjoyed learning more about the surroundings of the market, including visiting a beautiful mosque.

Sehr schöne Tour über die Zitadelle, Kirchen und den Markt. Mohamed hanii hat sehr angenehm auf Deutsch präsentiert. Bald wird er selbst einmal nach Deutschland reisen.

Driver & guide Mustafa were very prompt and polite.We booked Rooftop 7000 dinner specifically to see the pyramid sound/light show from the dinner. Sadly I was told that day the show was not on, could not postpone or cancel and now can’t get a taxi ride there and back to see the night lights. Dinner and service were lovely.

Amrehab took is on a tour of the mosque and old cairo markets near the citadel.He was young keen and very courteous, helping us learn to bargain with the markets and changing the tour according to what we wanted.

Our tour guide was Kareim, arrived early for pick up for old market, khan el khalili market and the mosque visit. He was very polite and informative about the place. Took us to very authentic shops where we had the opportunity to buy spices, perfumes and hand made paper arts, Egyptian cotton clothes , with detailed information as what we are buying. Also the tour was only for 3 hours but he didn’t rush if we wanted to spend time in any shop more.

We went on a day tour with Mohamed to Dashur, Memphis and Saqqara. He explained us all about the ancient sites, made time for a tea break, some sightseeing and lunch. Communication was clear and correct, pickup/dropoff as well and a safe drive. I would very much like to recommend this tour. Less crowded than Giza, much more information and a unique chance to to travel outside Caïro.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience in the Heart of the Egyptian Desert

This excursion was not just a trip; it was a life experience that will stay with us forever. A two-day adventure with an overnight stay in a tent at a beautiful and perfectly organized desert camp near the Fayoum Oasis — far away from anything ordinary or overly touristic.

We departed at 7:00 a.m. with hotel pickup from Cairo, and the trip concluded the following day at noon with drop-off back at our hotel — everything ran smoothly and exactly on schedule. Our first stop was the camp, where we left our belongings, and from that moment the real adventure began.

The desert safari by jeep was absolutely thrilling. Our driver truly understood what desert safari driving means — he gave us generous doses of adrenaline while always making us feel completely safe. He was extremely polite, friendly, and highly experienced. Together with him and, of course, with Mostafa, we visited breathtaking places far beyond Egypt’s typical tourist attractions.

We saw whale and dinosaur skeletons at the exact spot where they were discovered, lost ourselves in the surreal and dramatic landscapes of the real desert, and filled our minds with unforgettable images of lakes and waterfalls appearing unexpectedly in the middle of the الرمال. The highlight, however, was experiencing authentic Bedouin life and hospitality.

The evening at the camp was simply magical: delicious food, a warm atmosphere, genuine fun with the locals, and an unexpected party that made us feel like part of the community rather than just visitors. And when it was finally time to sleep, we looked up at a sky that is difficult to describe — not just stars, but the Milky Way clearly visible above us.

This excursion is highly recommended, provided the budget allows for it. The value of the experience far exceeds the cost.

Special mention must go to Mostafa. Without him, this trip would not have been the same. He is not just a guide, but an outstanding professional who speaks fluent English and works with the mindset that, at that moment, he represents the image of his country to its visitors. Polite, discreet, always present when needed, and at the same time genuinely enjoyable company. A person who truly makes the difference.

An unforgettable experience for anyone who wants to see Egypt in an authentic, deeper, and more meaningful way.

Our tour with Osama in Cairo was truly outstanding. We visited the historic gates Bab al-Futuh, Bab El Nasr, and Bab Zuweila, enjoying short walks filled with fascinating stories and insights.
The tour continued at the vibrant Khan el-Khalili, where we combined sightseeing with shopping in authentic stores.
Osama was exceptional — professional, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly friendly. He made us feel safe and comfortable at all times, explained everything clearly, and helped us bargain confidently while always respecting the local culture. His positive energy and genuine care made the whole experience unforgettable.
