First prescription sunglasses. Brilliant

Ordered prescription and it was super easy. Now have 5 pairs of SunGods and they keep getting better.

The Velans 2 are superb glasses! The best I've ever owned.

Great service. Great product.

Second pair of Velans 2 glasses but this pair has the 8KO IRIS Smoke lenses which I’ll use in autumn and spring when the tinted lenses can be a bit too dark in dappled light.

The frames are super comfortable while the arms grip well and the choice of nose clips means they won’t slide down.
I wore them for the first time today and no complaints.
They react really quickly to changing light conditions, so much so that you don’t really notice the change.
Strongly recommended.

I got the Classics Pro with the Iris lenses for running, extremely comfortable and the lenses bringing everything to life, very happy with them, Arrived on time, in good condition and as expected.

Love both Miras and Sierras, they are super comfortable, light, and the lenses offer the clearest vision I've experienced in sunglasses.
If there is anything to improve, I'd say they would be completely perfect with a little anti-slip patch on the temple arms/tips.

I purchased two pairs of the Velans 2 to replace my original Velans. I absolutely loved my old Sungods, but the lens needed to be replaced, so I opted for the upgraded model.
The new Velans are comfortable and light.
I am disappointed with the lack of frame color options with the Velans 2, but the Sungod lenses...they're the best.

These are great sunglasses from a great company. Their warranty is legit, and I'm certain I'll order from them again...even though they no longer send the Sungod stickers like they used to (man, that Sungod sticker looks so good on my helmet).

Got a warranty replacement for 3 year old Velans. Replaced with the Velans 2. White Matte and gold lens. The glasses are light and sleek. Optics are clear and sharp. Great face coverage without being oversized. Customer service was exceptional and shipping fast.

AVOID. What has happened to SUNGOD. If I could give it zero stars I would. I have four previous pairs of renegades, which I still own. I decided to branch out and go for the new Pro Iris glasses. Arrived and about a month in, hardly worn and kept in a protective casing, I started to notice the lens was blurred. I couldn’t see any scratches, but when you turn the lense and look internally with the sun shining on, you can see internal fractures. I reported this to Sungod under the warranty one day over the 30 day purchase. It was declined and said that I’d need to purchase brand new lenses. I wrote back, heard nothing. I then raised a formal complaint. Nothing. I have to say I am so disappointed.

Update 2/10/26: Thank you Sun God for resolving the situation following the issue with the original purchase.

The original purchase was for two pairs of McLaren Zephyrs. An issue with the build quality was raised, with Sun God now resolving the issue very well.

The resultant customer service has been excellent.

Ordered the wrong glasses for my husbands birthday, requested exchange which happened quickly however was the same pair was sent so had to request exchange again. Sophie dealt with this and the correct glasses came out within days at no extra charge. Only criticism is the AI response emails are frustrating, great to liaise with a real person Sophie!

Slightly concerned that I seem to be one of many customers not receiving their order, and not receiving a response from Sungod’s customer service team. Very poor.

Terrible customer service. Waited 10 days now for a response to an email query. Ive no choice but to raise a dispute with my bank.

Since writing this review I have received a response from sungod and my issue has been resolved perfectly. It is a shame it took so long.
In addition I should add my husband is a customer and has had no issues and loves the products. I guess if they could get on top of the customer service side the company would be very good indeed.

It started as 1 star as I had issues with a 241 offer and the customer services contact took ages to come back to me.

But when they did. They were super helpful, made the issue more than right, and helped me beyond my expectations.

So slow but exceptional customer service.

Once my case was picked up the follow up comms have been very swift. So trust them, be patient. They will see you right.

I went to claim on my lifetime guarantee but couldn’t find the original order number. The SunGod team found my order and had the replacement lens shipped to me in a few days.

The whole customer service experience with SunGod has been impeccable and quite frankly, I have never seen customer service quite like it. Efficient, polite and professional.

Bought 2 pairs of sunglasses over 3 weeks ago. Received an automatic order confirmation and then crickets for over a week. Sent an email requesting a status update. Crickets for another week. So, I sent a stronger email stating that I wanted a refund. Crickets. Crickets. Crickets.

I ended up contacting Amex and they reversed charged it for me. Still nothing from SunGod. Bad form.

Absolutely appalling customer service. The AI bot replies and says the query is being passed to “the team” who then respond over 1 week later, if you’re lucky. My order was delivered 5 weeks after purchasing, despite the money being taken from my account immediately. The order was only sent as a result of my persistent chasing via instagram messaging. The subsequent returns process has been equally horrendous and I’ve been left with no option but to raise a dispute with my bank

Midrange sunglasses are a myth - these are no better than the cheap ones. I went with the classics 8ko polarised lenses, still awful. I expected mid range as its a midrange price, but the quality of the product is cheap/low quality, not mid range. Trying to return them now. Odd returns process, they asked for a picture? If they were damaged or defective i understand the need for a pic, but returning due to poor quality. They know what their glasses look like, why do they want me to take a picture?

Reply to Ali's reply - the main issue was the lenses, there were reflections from the coating on the back, i dont know if the shape contributed to the issue, but it was ruining the field of view as was almost like having a ghosted image from behind in your fov. I tried them in a few different light conditions too and was the same issue. The reflection issue is a common issue with the cheaper sunglasses brands that I have tried. Compared to the Rayban polarised G15 lenses, i felt that the clarity and contrast was lacking. The g15 are green lenses. I appreciate that some of this could be personal preference, but I felt the contrast and clarity on the Rayban lenses was superior. If you have data showing how your lenses compare to the lenses of other brands, that would give people a better of idea of what to expect. The low score is partly because i expected better for the cost, but what I got was similar to some of the cheaper brands I have tried.

My sunglasses turned up with two small chips on their lenses. I contacted support and got an immediate AI response telling me someone would be in touch. I then chased twice over the next 2-3 weeks - no response.

I finally got a response from them (again AI) pushing me to a claims platform.

That responded quite quickly telling me the damage wasn't covered under the warranty.

Pretty dire service really.

UPDATE: Updating this to a 3 star, as they did eventually send out some replacement lenses.

Great sunglasses & excellent customer service. I made use of the lifetime guarantee after having had my sunglasses for 5 years & they came back good as new; so much better both environmental and financially than having to buy a new pair! Can’t fault them as a product or company. Highly recommended.
