Very easy instructions, perfect for covering our hot tub

Great product, easy to assemble, looks really nice and hides the hideous wheelie bins very effectively. It would be good if the chain raising the bin lid was installed at both ends of the top lid because the single chain seems flimsy and doesn't fully retract the lid when lifted up.

Easy to assemble and looks good. Downside some of the screws suppled are poor quality. I had 6 screws where the heads broke off otherwise would of had 5stars

No sure what to say the actual office staff are lovely but I was put thru to the rudest man I have ever spoken to who said that the gate was only slightly broken and therefore didnt understand why I wanted a refund instead of a replacement! Also that by my saying in an email that I hadnt been contact by the warehouse after I had been told that they would be in contact was extremely rude of me. They do not reply to emails and if you do email them they treat it as an impertinence.

Speedy delivery, well packaged. When I opened the box of the bench I found it easy to put together and am very pleased with the result. I also ordered the circular tree seat - a bit odd as there were initially only one set of legs/bench and the set of set backs but the second set of legs/bench were delivered the next day - but anyway I received all the pieces. Due to other work in my garden I have not yet put the tree bench up, but it looks as nice as the other bench and matches it in finish, and looks as straightforward to erect, when I get around to it. So overall, I'm very pleased with my order.

The delivery man was very helpful. Everything was packaged well, we had a little trouble with the instructions as the pictures were tricky to see you had the panels the right way round, but all up after tricky start looks great perfect

The worst service from start to finish. The triple bin box we ordered has fallen apart after a few weeks!! Parts snapped off, 2 of the lids completely broken to the point where they can’t be fixed and it looks unbearably cheap. We paid nearly £300 for something that has been staple gunned together with the cheapest wood they could find. Absolutely gutted. After complaining we received a nasty email reply and they told us it was our fault it was falling apart, they wouldn’t offer a refund and we had to pay for a return! Looked online and there are hundreds of reviews with people having the exact same problem. Absolute crooks!! Why sell something that isn’t fit for purpose! An outdoor product that doesn’t last a few weeks! They have now stopped replying so having to sort it through other means

1. Product Not Fit for Purpose
I ordered a metal shed from Summer Garden Buildings and encountered multiple serious issues:

Late delivery: It arrived days after the promised date, causing disruption.
Design flaw: The shed requires full external access on both sides for assembly—completely impractical for most garden setups. This was not disclosed at the point of purchase.
Damaged parts: Several panels arrived with visible corner damage.
Unclear instructions: The manual was incomplete, and 140 “S2” fixings were included with no explanation of their use.
These issues made the product unusable in my space and, in my view, not fit for purpose.

2. Company Tried to Avoid Full Refund
When I raised these concerns and requested a return under the Consumer Rights Act, I was shocked by the response. Instead of offering a straightforward return and refund, I was:

Directed to a restrictive returns policy that seemed designed to discourage returns.
Told I could try to resell the shed locally to “refund myself,” which felt like a clear attempt to avoid their legal obligations.
Given no offer to cover return shipping, despite the product being faulty and misrepresented.
This experience left me feeling misled and unsupported. I would strongly advise others to think twice before buying from this company—especially if you expect fair treatment when things go wrong.

Reasonable graphics to help with construction.

I ordered a retractable gazebo which arrived with damage on the box, and turns out the product was also damaged.

Communication was quite poor, you’re not allowed to talk to aftersales on the phone, you have to email. They failed at answering direct questions, kept insisting on me giving them measurements and photos of the package that they sent me, weren’t very forthcoming when I was asking about replacing for a different product, but also said they would only replace it after it had arrived back to them and they’d inspected.

I chose to let them arrange collection and just order another one from them which arrived fairly quickly, I asked about when I’d get refunded and they’d inspected said within 14 days, I told them I wasn’t happy with that timeframe and they just ignored me.

The product itself… average. It doesn’t feel particularly premium even though it’s 2-3 times the price of rival products.

I’d recommend saving your money and just ordering from the range/B&Q etc.

Lovely item and delivered promptly

We bought a gazebo from Summer Garden Buildings in 2019 and ordered a spare canopy at the same time just in case. I was and still am delighted with the gazebo. This Summer we made the mistake of leaving the canopy up in a tremendous thunderstorm and the canopy was wrecked. As I had a spare, no problem I thought. However the small runners that carry the canopy were broken. I contacted Summer GB and they were able to supply some replacements. There were also some small nuts needed and Summer GB posted those to me at no charge.

There was 3 bolts missing from this order so we had to buy some otherwise delivery and driver was very good

Nice looking patio cover. Well made and well designed. Good price. The whole thing was very well designed and engineered with two notable exceptions. The dome head screws supplied were not fit for purpose and had to be discarded and replaced with better quality ones. I don't understand why they supply them at all if they are not fit for purpose! But the most disappointing aspect was the joint between the two two front sections. This was supposed to be done using some poor quality self tapping metal screws with no pre drilled holes to aid positioning. The screws supplied were countersunk which therefore didn't fit flush with the frame. They were also impossible to fit without pre-drilling. Whichever way you proceeded you were left with an ugly mess which was in complete contrast to the well designed and engineered canopy. We assumed/hoped that this joint would therefore be covered by another part of the frame but this was not the case and this mishmash took pride of place in the centre of the structure. I ended up fitting a metal sign over it to cover it over. The builder who was with me advised that I contact the company and complain, which I suppose I am doing so here. The canopy would otherwise definitely have warranted 5 stars even with the dodgy dome head screws

Great price, delivered straight from stock next day, comprehensive questionnaire about the delivery site so things don’t go wrong. Very pleased!
