I live in the EU.
I bought a watch from Stuhrling more than 1 year ago.
First, it took months for me to receive it and when I received it, it did not work properly.
After going through a complex process, I was able to send it in for repairs.
That was about a year ago. Since then, I have repeatedly asked what is happening to my watch - but a few weeks ago they stopped responding to my queries.
So - to summarise: Stuhrling took my money and I would be surprised if I ever see my watch again.
If you live in the EU - I would seriously advise you NOT to buy ANYTHING from Stuhrling.

Automatic pocketwatch
Looks very fancy but is cheap china crap dont run correctly(mostly) and seconds dial came off when rolled of coffeetable on 2 carpet (50 cm drop)

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience with yhis company. Have ordered webmaster skeleton watch in December for my birthday. It came in nice box etc but the watch itself was ratteling and didn't seem to keep time correctly. I have contacted customer service and waited for ages for response. After few emails and contacting PayPal I got reply that I can send it back to Manchester and will be replaced with new working watch and refunded for postage. I've sent faulty watch back and I have received replacement which was even worse that then previous one. It was ratteling, hole movement was loose in a case and on top of that it was ticking whatever time it wanted. Contacted customer service with no reply at all. I had to escalate rhe issue with PayPal as the return request wasn't working for replacement code and original code of purchase either as 30 days return date has passed. I have been offered only for postage of returning original watch and nothing about returning the second faulty watch.
Long short story eventually I have been refunded for the price of the watch minus £7.65 for postage and no one even bothered to reply to my offer that I'm willing to send back the replacement as long as I get refunded for postage. Over a month of a hassle, emails and my time wasted. Wish I didn't order it at all. Not worth it. Customer service is terrible in my experience and as I have promised in my emails I'm giving rating equivalent to the service.

Quote from the company after I complained I was shocked at how shoddy, cheap, roughly finished their watches are:
"The inner parts of links are not polished or PVD plated since they do not show anywhere" I think the company's standards and ethos are patently transparent. Buyer you have been warned....

Après longue réflexion j'ai fini par craquer pour un joli modèle automatique squelette de la marque sur le site Veepee.com. Reçue après quelques semaines comme souvent sur Veepee, là le soufflet est un peu retombé en voyant la qualité du boitier, la finition fait un peu low cost pour un oeil averti, mais j'étais malgrè cela content d'avoir ce modèle automatique et espérais qu'il tienne dans le temps. Seulement au bout d'une heure au poigné......... Il s'était passé 1h05min dans la montre... Je la remets à l'heure 1 fois, puis 2 puis vous l'avez compris : je vous laisse imaginer la qualité du matos pour cette montre dont l'heure était décalée de 5min toutes les heures !!! Dégouté, je l'ai renvoyé et me suis heureusement fait remboursé. Conclusion en ce qui me concerne : mon expérience me laisse certain que ce sont des montres bas de gamme un peu stylées mais vendues à prix d'or sous ce qui me paraît être de fausses promos (genre 110 € au lieu de 790€...la seule vraie bonne nouvelle ici c'est que si vous l'achetez, vous ne perderez pas 790€ mais juste 110€).

Ordered the Formulai 891.01 Quartz 42mm Chronograph on June 17, received it on July 9. 3 weeks delivery time is pretty standard when ordering from the US and shipping to the other side of the world, but definitely something for others to consider. The watch is very decently made, looks more high-end and expensive than it actually costs. I ordered it during that time as there was a Father's Day sale going on, originally $195 discounted to $125. However, the following week after Father’s Day, prices were reduced even further to $100.
Unfortunately, the chronograph second hand on my watch is slightly misaligned with the 12-hour mark. Don’t know if this is only on my particular watch, or if it’s the same on others as well. Either way, quality control can certainly improve here. Although I haven’t been wearing this watch daily, I noticed there is already a faint scratch on the crystal. I definitely did not expect it to be sapphire crystal, but I certainly hope that there is more information available on the product and its specifications as it is not existent on the website or the instructions manual.
Overall, I’m quite satisfied with my first ever purchase, but I can only recommend buying when there’s a sale going on.

Avant d'acheter la montre je savais qu'elle n'était pas d'une marque d'une qualité faramineuse, donc je l'ai achetée en toute connaissance de cause et sans avoir trop d'exigences. Car j'avais craqué pour le design et sur ventes privées le prix était correct (tout de même 160€, mais annoncée pour un prix initial avant rabais de plus de 700 € !).
Résultat : Livrée dans un superbe coffret mais montre qui paraît bas-de-gamme dès la prise en main, car hyper légère alors que toute montre en métal correctement fabriquée pèse un certain poids. Mais je me suis dit que finalement ce n'était pas bien grave qu'elle ne pèse pas son poids.
Puis, après l'avoir insectée sous toutes les coutures je me suis rendu compte qu'il y avait une rayure sur le côté du boîtier. Comme il s'agissait d'une toute petite rayure superficielle, Je me suis dit que j'allais la faire partir très facilement avec un coup de crème polish, ce que je fais habituellement sur d'autres montres sans aucun problème pour les remettre à neuf. Mais avec cette présente montre catastrophe ! Après avoir frotté pendant à peine quelques minutes je me suis rendu compte que la couche de chrome était en train de partir et que l'on commençait à voir la couleur jaune de ce qui doit être du laiton. Et là c'est franchement scandaleux ! J'ai dû avoir une cinquantaine de montre dans ma vie, de marques différentes, et certaines que je n'ai payées que 100 euros, mais je n'ai jamais eu ce problème d'une couche de Chrome si fine que le moindre coup de polish la fasse partir. Je vous lasse imaginer ce qui va se passer avec cette montre au moindre choc : Une rayure qui laissera apparaître le laiton en dessous !
À titre de comparaison, j'ai une Swatch à 150€ dont j'ai réussi à effacer une rayure très profonde au papier de verre puis après un long polissage à la pâte à polir. La couche de Chrome est tellement épaisse que je ne l'ai absolument pas entamée (ou alors le boîtier est en acier massif).
Concernant cette montre Stuhrling, elle fait de l'effet tant que l'on se contente de la regarder de loin, mais dès qu'on la prend en main on se rend compte de la qualité médiocre de la fabrication. Ce qui est absolument certain c'est qu'elle ne vaut pas les 700 € initiaux, et même pas les 160€ après rabais !
À déconseiller fortement !

Surtout ne pas acheter cette marque: une fois la livraison faite, vous avez à payer les taxes. Plus de 30€. Et quand vous le signalez à Sturhling, ils vous répondent qu'il fallait lire toutes les CGV (y compris les dernières lignes de la dernière rubrique). Du vol.

Quality is on the lower end (like 100 $ watches), then you wait for 3 months to get a wrong watch where you even have to pay 50 € customs!

Très déçu par la marque. Au bout de 2 mois, la fixation du bracelet a cassé! Ce n’est rien et ça m’a coûté 5€ chez un bijoutier...qui m’a indiqué que ces montres sont fabriquées en Chine (non vérifié) et ne sont pas d’une grande qualité.
Voilà 3 ans que j’ai la montre et que je ne l’utilise pas tous les jours (en ayant plusieurs). Le remontoir a cassé!! Embêtant pour une montre automatique.. Le bijoutier m’a dit que la pièce qui a cassé est introuvable et qu’il faut se retourner vers le fabricant. Fabricant qui me dit de me retourner vers leur service réparations: on commence par payer 20$ pour obtenir un numéro de retour. Puis on paye l’envoi de la montre en Angleterre. Pour enfin obtenir un devis de réparation (je l’envoie demain donc je n’ai pas encore d’idée de l’excès ou non du coût des réparations mais on a déjà bien mis la main à la poche avant d’obtenir le devis!).
J’hésitais à étoffer ma collection avec d’autres modèles de la marque qui me plaisent...ça ne sera pas le cas!

J'ai acheté une montre femme STUHRLING sur le site Veepee.
Je déconseille fortement d'acheter cette marque, cette montre n'a jamais fonctionné correctement.
Vous croyez faire une affaire en achetant une montre de qualité et en réalité c'est du bas de gamme qui ne fonctionne même pas.
De plus la montre était plus chère sur Veepee que sur le site de Stührling.
Le prix de vente recommandé par le fabricant sur le site de Stührling.com est complètement surévalué, j'ai acheté ma montre autour de 100€ et le site Stührling estime le prix de vente recommandé autour de 300$.
Ce qui incite à croire que vous faites une bonne affaire et là en fait vous faites une très très mauvaise affaire.

More expensive than expected!

So I ordered the Special Reserve 3921 Skeleton Automatic and its a really beautiful watch. Works perfectly fine.
I currently live in London and since they produce in New York it had to be shipped quite far. They claim to have "free shipping worldwide". What they do not tell you is that the orders can be held by customs and fees apply. I ended up paying additional 52 pounds for a 180 dollar watch. MENTAL. Afterwards I checked their website and it says that fees may apply. It would be much appreciated if that was specifically mentioned for overseas customers.
Other than that the watch is really great!

I do not recieved the watch , just the box! I preseted a claim witouth any reply Yet!!!🤷🏻‍♂️

Less than 48 hours after I received the watch the day indicator is no longer working.

I have bought Stührling Original Classics men`s watch (645 model with Roman numerals) and they have almost immediately stopped working. Looked up on Amazon reviews and was shocked to see how many people are complaining about the quality of Stührling watch (3 of 5 rating). And it is literally almost impossible to repair the item I have got - you need to ship the watch back to Stührling at your own cost. What a waste of money - never buy Stührling, the quality is crap, they are offering more and more discounts as they know that what they are selling is rubbish, made in China, almost every watch is faulty and Customer Service is not existent, you won`t be able to repair your watch. If you are stuck abroad, then the cost of shipping the watch to the States will be the same as the cost of new watch - they are crooks, pretending they are making genuine watches. Beware!

62,37 € ! E' quello che ho speso per far riparare un orologio acquistato all'inizio dell'anno quindi ancora in garanzia. Stella meno. Riparazione necessaria per presenza umidità all'interno dell'orologio dichiarato water resistant 50m. Stella meno. Tre punti assistenza nel mondo, quindi a meno che non siete di Manchester, in Europa preparatevi allo stesso tratamento. Stella meno. Mecanismo non tanto preciso, sara per i 230 € pagati per l'acquisto. Che adesso sono 292,37. E così via, in caso di altri problemi. La garanzia che danno è come se non ci fosse, visto che scaricano sul cliente tutti i costi della riparazione sia perchè non è stato ben assemblato, sia per la scarsità dei materiali utilizzati. Dirmi deluso è un eufemismo. Stella meno. Considerazioni da fare ce ne sono ancora, ma visto che tutto ciò è menzionato nelle loro condizioni di vendita e garanzia, posso solo dire che con il "giusto o sbagliato" non si arriva lontano nel mondo degli affari.
