Peter Russell at Streeter Marshall Coulsdon has just completed our house purchase and his due diligence, attention to detail and overall conveyancing expertise was superb. It was the most complicated and stressful house purchase I have ever experienced. I can only thank Peter for identifying many issues that needed resolving before purchase. I would highly recommend Peter and Streeter Marshall.

Conveyancing is not a new ask from me and I've had quite a bit of experience of high street solicitors, licensed conveyancers and large 'conveyancing warehouses'. Some I'd recommend, others I'm happy to forget and occasionally, some I regret.

My latest purchase was of a 350 year old property which, from experience, often comes with unexpected complications, so a good solicitor was sought.

Peter Russell from Streeter Marshall has been, without a doubt, the BEST legal professional I have ever experienced. The complications with my purchase were many and time consuming; taking me to the edge of considering withdrawal from the purchase. Peter's experience and professionalism ensured matters were dealt with appropriately and as expeditiously as possible. Despite the considerable amount of extra hours he put in, very little (if any) was reflected in our final bill. It is for these reasons that I am comfortable to confirm that I will be going nowhere else for any future conveyancing advice and services.

Do I recommend Streeter Marshall? If they are all as good as Peter, then yes, 'absobleedinlutely'!

I have used Streeters for several different issues including the selling of my business and, of late, the sale of a property where Rebecca and team were very patient on this very protracted transaction.

They do not give you invoice with payee’s details.
They tell you the amount by email , then tell you to call office to obtain the bank details to pay into .

But what if one of staff tell me his:her own account details than company details ?

Streeter Marshall were accessible, very helpful and steered us through a challenging sale, whilst remaining professional at all times.

My partner and I used Tim Farrington as our solicitor for the purchase of our first property.
Tim was very helpful in explaining the steps and getting us set up. Unfortunately due to a poor survey result the house fell through. Tim and his assistants were able to retrieve most of the money we had put forward for the searches which was great.

My partner and I then found and new property and used Tim again. He was very on the ball and helped us complete despite the sellers solicitors being particularly difficult.

Hope to use Tim as our solicitor again in the future.

Nicole was absolutely fantastic during a stressful house sale (due to problems further down the chain). She was always “on the ball”, proactive, and available to answer any questions we had. We will be using her for our onward purchase when the time comes without hesitation.

Alastair McKie, was out wills and probate solicitor and just want to say,he is very good and detailed in explaining everything to us. Will definitely recommend him.

Terrible experience which is still ongoing, their complaints procedure is ridiculous and they now don’t even bother to respond.
I would not recommend this firm.

And now after leaving this review I am being gas lighted as to the complaints procedure that I followed as advised by the SRA and Legal ombudsman.
And also that I haven’t emailed despite having a full email trail proving otherwise
Shocking behaviour and something something I would not expect.

Now almost 6 months after raising a complaint to the complaints partner David Moore they have now sent us a complaints form stating that my Sister has to send the email and not myself even though she was cc'd.
Pure gaslighting.
This is still ongoing after 3 years.

Completely professional and approachable. Great communications, explaining everything in an easy to understand way. An absolute pleasure to deal with all costs itemised. Potential problem areas identified along with associated risks and solutions leading to a very satisfactory outcome. A point of note is that not all conveyancers provide the professional level of service that Streeter Marshal solicitors do. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them and especially the services of Tim Farrington who successfully handled both our sale and purchase.
