my experience has been deeply unsatisfactory

They did a service, but put the car through the MOT without doing the necessary work, which I had already approved!!!! Of course the car failed the MOT….. sheer incompetence!

I have no faith in this organisation now!!!!!!

Probably my worst car buying experience in 16 years. Nothing is a problem until you’ve signed the paperwork. I was sent a video of the car that I purchased, in this video the sales person did not mention the cigarette burn in the carpet, or the damage to the leather interior. When I arrived the car was covered, now I know why! I was only told about the damage to the leather after I signed the paperwork, once signed I was told the leather had been touched up. Before I purchased the car I was told that some number plates would be made up for me (private registration) and put in the boot, no sign of them. I was also told that the car would come with a full tank of fuel, but it did not. When I left with the car I noticed a vibration through the whole car when driving. I took the car back after driving 40 minutes away towards home. I waited over an hour for them to come back and say it was the wheel balancing. I accepted this and set off again on my 5 hour journey home. I noticed that the vibration had improved slightly but it was still there. I phoned the sales person again who said that’s very strange because a Mercedes mechanic has taken the car out and he said it’s fine (am I a liar?) This leaves me with a car that has interior damage that was not mentioned to me before purchase, a vibration through the whole car when driving, no number plates as promised, and no full tank of fuel. The customer service is non-existent. No contact from them since, even though I made them aware that I was still having issues. Not what I expected from a Mercedes garage.

I dropped the car off at around 8:30am on the first day so it undergo diagnostics for EML and a health check. I didn’t get a phone call, just an email around 2pm that included a video stating the repairs would cost more than £1700. I approved some of the repairs online, but I still hadn’t received any calls from the service department. Eventually, I called them to ask when my car would be ready, and they said they would call me back. Finally, at 4pm, I got a call saying my car would need to stay overnight and that I could pick it up the next day.

The next day came, and by 3 pm, I still hadn’t heard anything. I called the showroom again and was told someone would get back to me. I ended up receiving a text message (not a phone call) letting me know my car was still being repaired. At 5:30 pm, I got a call saying my car was fixed and I could pick it up at by 6 pm, I live about 15 miles away and since no courtesy car was provided I was having to rely on public transport. I picked it up the next morning, to my surprise no complimentary vacuuming or washing done with grease marks all across the bonnet. Honestly, I expected better customer service than I received. I have had better service at Volvo and even Arnold Clark!

Stratstone Glasgow. Such an easy process in buying a used approved car. No pressure, good trade-in price and vehicle ready and available for when I wanted it. No query/ request was too much and was dealt with immediately. Customer service was excellent. Well done John Wilson!

Did not explain what was actually done and used to wash car as a courtesy which was a nice touch

Took car to MB dealer Glasgow for repair because engine amber light on, changed a sensor costs over £800 after collected on the way home drove less than 2 mile amber light on again, next morning back to workshop for 2 weeks new quotation over £1,000. If the workshop gave out a precise diagnosis and exact quotation at the first stage I can choose go ahead or not, but now...it makes me feel I met the cowboy builder you have to pay a 2nd payment or even 3rd to get the job done. Now paid amber light still ON. joking.
Not fair and very disappointed
