Well im am truly disgusted n let down. By such a big dealership. My advice is go and buy ure new or used car from a proper dealer. I brought a new car from here n paid cash. My car had been in workshop 13 times with several problems. Let alone how many times ive called brakedown. This time broke down in paighton on a family trip to celebrate my dads passing. New gear box needed. Now 3 weeks later its on a truck bk to me. N bmw uk customer service wasn't interested n as a good will gesture offered £200. What a joke.

I recently contacted Rachael in Sales at BMW at Chesterfield who sold me my used car a month ago as it had a fault with the air con. I have to say that Rachael was very helpful and went out of her way to assist me resulting in the problem being rectified.

I am writing this review to show that not only are Stratstone BMW Chesterfield excellent for buying cars but their after care service is too. Thank you once again Rachael.

Placed refundable deposit of £100 at BMW Chesterfield for a 850i3 weeks ago. Didn’t proceed and car sold to another buyer. Despite a phone call and 3 emails no response received

Polite staff who explained thoroughly about the process and takes us through our queries. Very straightforward and respectful. He was very nice and helpful throughout the whole process. I would recommend coming to this dealership as they accompanied all my requirements and I’m sure they will do the same for you.

Micheal on front was a pleasure to deal with when my vehicle had an unexpected delay with keeping me informed every step of the way and sorting a courtesy vehicle promptly. Great service team and was full of trust when my vehicle was returned.

My personal experience with this Bmw is negative. They take the car, do nothing and don't give it back until the evening. And don't ask me how I know, because I have the app and I can see where the car is parked, when it is being driven and when the doors are open.They have looked for half an hour and then have to wait until the evening, when there is a traffic jam, to pick it up. Also the people who work there are rude and arrogant. The woman who served them had terrible manners. If you have the option, you'd be better off with Nottingham Bmw dealership. My experience there is German. The people are polite and pleasant.

First class team at the Stratstone body shop on Pottery Lane Chesterfield. Quick, efficient and excellent customer service. Recommend to any BMW driver. Been here many times and always do a great job.

Took my car in for a recall was charged for a curtsey car when challenged about this was rude arrogant and was told I should of got some one to follow me and drop the car of and then taken me back to fetch it (20 miles) each way or book it in somewhere else that's your problem to sort out Steven (management) said (cocky) do your self a favor keep away

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep concern about the recent service experience I had at your nearest BMW store.

Upon receiving a recommendation from BMW to change the cooler, I promptly visited the store and entrusted them with the service. After leaving my car on Sunday evening, I received a call on Monday afternoon informing me that my car was ready for collection.

However, as soon as I drove my car, I noticed an unusual noise coming from the engine. Worried about this unexpected issue, I decided to return to the store and inform them about it. They assured me that they would investigate and get back to me once they had identified the problem, so I reluctantly returned home.

To my great surprise and dismay, this morning I received a call informing me that there is indeed a problem with my car and that it would require a payment of £1000 to rectify. This sudden additional expense has left me deeply worried and frustrated.

I understand that unforeseen issues can arise during service; however, given the circumstances in which this issue occurred immediately after servicing at your authorized store, I kindly request a thorough explanation regarding what has transpired. It is important for me to understand why such an issue was not detected during the initial inspection or brought to my attention before collecting my vehicle.

I truly value your brand and have always trusted in BMW's commitment to excellence. Therefore, it is my sincere hope that you will address this matter promptly and provide a satisfactory resolution.

It was a pleasure dealing with Joe Barber from initial enquiry through to post delivery questions. Very personable with good knowledge of the car in question. Joe kept me informed throughout the purchasing process and was very helpful throughout.

Not fit to represent BMW.
Astounded at the audacity and sickened to receive a phone call from this despicable company to inform me that my MOT is due shortly on my BMW. How would an MOT be possible when Stratstone know I’ve not had my car roadworthy for the last 9 months as explained below.
This is the company that knowingly sold me a previously flood damaged BMW 335d approved used car without telling me at time of purchase.
I purchased the car that had just come out of 3 year new car manufacturer warranty.
The vehicle experienced engine failure on 15.11.22, it was recovered to my local BMW garage who carried out diagnosis and found paint marks all over engine. They asked me to go back to Stratstone to find out the history of vehicle.
When I spoke to Stratstone I was stunned when they told me that the car had been presented to them by the previous owner with flood damage. After them carrying out compression tests and confirming cylinder misfiring they recommended an engine replacement.
The previous owner then took the car elsewhere for an engine rebuild outside the BMW network. This was all done during the vehicle’s new car 3 year manufacturer warranty. Stratstone made no record of this vital information.
Stratstone then took the car back as a part exchange, closed their eyes and ears and made no effort to find out what engine rebuild works had been done, to what standard or by who.
They did not check that the engine had been replaced as recommended by themselves, and in accordance with BMW policy for flood damaged engines.
They then knowingly witheld all this vital
information when they sold it to me.
The car was misrepresented to me when I purchased it from them.
I’ve been without my car for 9 months since it failed and my local BMW garage believe this is caused by a slight bend in a Conrod which was not correctly identified or repaired on previous engine rebuild repair works outside the BMW network.
I am in talks with BMW UK to ascertain how a BMW warranty was issued with this car, when engine rebuild works were carried out within the 3 year manufacturer warranty but outside of the BMW network.
Does a BMW warranty guarantee unknown engine rebuild works, carried out by an unknown repairer to an unknown standard less than a year before a warranty is issued? Stratstone made no effort to make any other BMW main dealer aware of flood damage to the vehicle on the BMW internal network.
I spent 22.5k on this car which was inheritance money left for me by my late father.

and as a result it causes or is likely to cause the average customer to take a transactional decision he would not have taken otherwise.
Never would I purchase a previously flood damaged car under any circumstances.
Never ever buy a car from this despicable deceitful business.
I am currently taking legal advice and have reported them to various trading associations. Motor Ombudsman will also be notified.
Beware any potential customers that Head of Business of Stratstone Chesterfield (unable to directly use his name as Stratstone complained to trustpilot) thought it was perfectly ok to sell this car to me without telling me about the previous flood damage, unknown scope of engine rebuild works by an unknown repairer to an unknown standard although they recommended an engine replacement. They also witheld engine misfiring details in service notes.
You have been warned to stay away as this shameful business tarnishes the BMW brand name.
Just had confirmation that the warranty issued with the car was void as it only covers BMW factory fitted parts.
Yet more misrepresentation as any repair work carried out on the vehicle must be carried out by an Authorised BMW Retailer or BMW Service Authorised Workshop to be covered by warranty. Stratstone knew that the approved used car warranty did NOT cover engine rebuild works carried out by a non authorised repairer. Shameful deceitful behaviour from a main dealer.

Good Service during the purchase, poor after care as i've had issues after purchasing my car.

I email the sales rep, i get no response. I call, I get told it will get looked at and i hear nothing. I will never purchase with this garage again and will advise friends and family not to either.
