Sell products without battery, and then you find out that you have to buy a battery and a charger. And now i have 5 machines with 5 diferent baterys and chargers

Bought a Stanley hobby filling a few days ago. The label is stuck on with what can only be described as superglue. No amount of scrubbing is removing it. Defeats the objective of having a filling knife when the label won’t come off to give a clean edge! Who makes these decisions? It’s clearly not someone who has to take the label off to use the product. Poor packaging design.

Got scammed by there deals pay for toolbox at argos then stanley will send you the other. no stanley didnt send nothing sent them receipt, told me wait a month and then said the offer is over scammed.

More rubbish from Stanley. My wife bought the product. I wouldn’t have let her if I had known. Purchased a gate latch for our side gate. Screws were so poor in quality that the cross heads sheared through before they could be tightened. Now I can’t get them in or out, and I will probably end up damaging the gate making things work. Why do people buy this junk? A nice yellow logo colour makes people think it is something decent.

I have just bought myself a Stanley Fatmax SFMCHT855M1-GB 18V V20 55cm Hedge Trimmer. I bought mine from Argos, as they are much cheaper than some other outlets. I bought this particular trimmer as I already own the Fatmax cordless drill and thought the batteries would be inter changeable. WRONG. Stanley have altered them so one does not fit another tool. Infuriating when I already have three batteries, that I rotate frequently. Cheap money making schemes from company's like this are bloody annoying. Hedge trimmer worked very well incidentally, pleased with it.
If you own any Stanley cordless tools check the battery will fit if your buying newer kit.

Mijn ervaring met Stanley Tools is ronduit slecht. Ik ben inmiddels al ruim negen maanden bezig om een probleem opgelost te krijgen.

Tijdens dit traject zijn mij meerdere keren mondeling toezeggingen gedaan over de afhandeling. Toen ik deze toezeggingen later wilde laten uitvoeren, werd plotseling ontkend dat ze ooit waren gedaan.

Ik heb mijn volledige dossier, inclusief bewijsstukken en correspondentie, aan Stanley verstrekt. Desondanks wordt mijn standpunt afgewezen en wordt volgens mij geen verantwoordelijkheid genomen voor de eerder gemaakte afspraken.

De aftersales en klachtenafhandeling ervaar ik als zeer onder de maat. Reacties laten lang op zich wachten, afspraken worden volgens mijn ervaring niet nagekomen en ik ben al negen maanden bezig zonder een passende oplossing.

Op basis van mijn eigen ervaring raad ik Stanley Tools niet aan. Ik had van een internationaal merk een veel professionelere en eerlijkere behandeling verwacht.

I bought a V20 combo in Australia and the main issue I have is the power and battery system. Compared to the cheaper rival, Ozito (Bunnings) Stanley comes a very distant second. Their 4.0A battery is HALF as good as the 2.5A lower rated Ozito battery…!!!

Niet gebruikt ging meteen stuk. Ze willen totaal geen service leveren.

Honestly, don't bother with any of their tools. Utter rubbish tools disguised as something useful. Will cost you more in wasted time than just buying something decent. My fault really, wanted a hand mitre saw to cut an angle, but didn't think that Stanley would make a mitre saw that only let's you cut a very particular set of angles, and not any angle.. You want to cut 47 degrees? Nope. You get 45 or 52? who would have thought that? I guess I need an actual mitre saw, kind of like how this is advertised, but one that actually works.

There are after sales and services are fully rubbish and very very very poor management, i got my jigsaw malfunction and broken and its being now 4th or 5th had passed almost no one had been with contact , i went to toolstation from where i purchased they told me to contact directly to stanley but these are just useless and time waste

Stanley fat max blades, (50 pack)

Very poor quantity, I use these type of blades for high precision work, and the edge is very soft, and looses sharpness very easily, ok for slashing up felt or cardboard, but for fine work absolutely useless

The drill chucks are not up to the job of holding drills, they slip. The multi tool is a waste of time mainly because Stanley do not supply the triangular sanding heads for them, once it wears out, that’s it!!So buyers beware, pay that little more extra, don’t be sucked into purchasing a second rate tool that’s not up to the job. I’m a home handyman, so it’s not hard use.

I have had similar problems as others have mentioned. I have Craftsman tools which originally were Sears. As we all know, Sears isn't with us anymore. I had a ratchet fail recently and the process to replace it was outrageous. The tool itself was a warranty replacement for a 30 year old tool about 3 years ago. There was no receipt issued. After dealing with 4 or 5 service reps who all wanted the receipt, I finally got a replacement but it is not the same tool.I used to work in the hardware department of 2 major stores in Ontario. I vividly remember customers with broken tools from this company yelling at me because I couldn't give them a new wrench or socket. Every other company was ok, just not any of their brands. I wrote the president of Stanley a letter some time ago. It was extremely polite. He hasn't bothered to respond. Nice company to avoid.

Heb 5 jaar een Stanley accu boormachine gekocht voor privé gebruik en werk nog steeds super goed heb vandaag een haakse slijper gekocht gekocht super handig

We are a textile manufacturing company,
After decades of using Stanley trimming blades, we have had to move on to another make. The Stanley blades are really poor quality now, they are blunt after the very first use, I presume these now come from China or India; wherever they come from, they are total rubbish.
The Fat max blades are also poor.
This is just another instance of the customer paying more for a cheaper product.

I brought a Stanley fatmax strimmer and registered it for the warranty which was then extended to 3 years . I brought it from tool station. I have purchased Stanley products for many years but up until yesterday had never needed to make a warranty claim. I would advise anyone to steer clear of Stanley products because although you activate your warranty with proof of purchase, when you come to claim on the warranty they want to see proof of purchase again?? How many customers can provide this? Get out clause for Stanley .
I will never give them another penny of my hard earned cash.

Nu al meerdere items gehad van stanley maar valt mij behoorlijk tegen
Bijvoorbeeld een haakse slijper 1,5jaar gehad en eigenlijk niet veel gebruikt omdat ik ook een super goedkope slijptol had die prettiger werkte en de stanley slijptol kapot gegaan,
Ook bitjes torx20 gehad maar deze breken af of vervormen bij eerste gebruik al.
Kwaliteit valt heel erg tegen terwijl de prijs dat ook doet.

Ik gebruik messen &rolmaten hamers tangen het liefst van Stanley zeer tevreden goede kwaliteit en nog valt de prijs goed mee

STANLEY FATMAX 18v drill: Good robust design, good value and solid . Sadly I tried to buy a replacement battery and charger from Toolstation, but Stanley had changed the design of the new FatMax 18v model apparently and it was not compatible with my older model FatMax 18v model. WHY DO COMPANIES DO THIS?? IT IS INSANE. If your going to use the same model name , please keep the design parameters the same for parts . You will not force customers to buy a new drill, they will change to another manufacturer who has the good sense to keep there products serviceable with spares remaining consistent with original design parameters.!!!!!

I purchase a Stanley Fatmax V20 Tyre Inflator, No Menu, No Power Button, Trigger Activated, i can only use Bar & not PSi, KPA, no auto shut off as mentioned in description. So this item is not as decribed.
