In June 2025, I was shopping in the Repentigny Québec store for shoes. A young sale associate named Eugénelle helped me tremendously. My size was not available. She went out of her way to find them in another location and arranged transfer to my Sport Chek close to my home. She was personable and very professional. I highly recommend shopping at Sport Chek. They train their sales staff well. They also select outgoing, kind and eager to please staff. Customer Service is excellent. Thank you Eugénelle!
How good sportcheck is in Cape Breton
They have a big selection of shoes & their is always sales on every day on 3/4 of the store. the staff is amazing and right their to help when needed. Perfect quality, and perfect pricing! I would recommend this store to everyone.

Customer support? One of the most arrogant and disrespectful person I've ever talked to on a customer support.

this online store is absolute garbage
this online store is absolute garbage. you may as well take the time out of your day to just go into a store. it is so slow and does not even work half the time. i have spent 30 min resetting my password to log in to order something and after i was done that i tried to log in. it loads, and goes back to the "sign in" screen and i would repeat it 30 times and it still didn't work. tried resetting the website and even my password a few more times and still nothing. horrible experience.

Ordered a hockey neck guard received the wrong hockey neck guard. Called them ask them why they sent me a cheaper wrong neck guard. They said human error and that all the items have been sold out. I looked on the site. Multiple stores have the items but they’re unwilling to ship out the correct item and just want to refund money. My whole experience has been very negative last time I received the water bottle that wasn’t packaged properly arrived all dented and chipped looking like it had been run over by a truck. I highly recommend staying away from this company as what you see on the website from my experience has either been not received or incredibly damaged. Don’t expect customer service to try correct the issue without having you jump through a bunch of hoops, and do a bunch of work to get the correct item. They said I,lol have to re-order it from this other company they own to correct issue the company they said to re-order from a company called pro hockey life, which they also own . For me I ordered one item high-end and received a low end item. Just beware. They call it a human error. I call it bait and switch..
Excellent service
Visited the store at Kingsway Mall in Edmonton today for a pair of shoes. They seemed pretty busy but managed to get the attention of one of the sales associates. Her name was Marley and she explained to me that although it was not her department, she would do her best to help me. I tried on a couple pairs of shoes but they were not comfortable, she then suggested a different pair that I had not considered. They felt great on my feet, but were much more than I wanted to spend, She could tell I was concerned about the price and managed to get me a little bit better of a price and I ended purchasing them. I would definitely go back for my next pair, and hopefully Marley will still be there.
Website issue.
Two weeks ago I needed to buy a new pair of running shoes.I checked the website selected my store and it showed in stock.My store. Arrive at store they don't have any stock.Okay so a possible inventory issue. Today I need a pair of hiking boots.Check the website selected.My store in stock no problem. When I arrive at my store, they don't carry those boots, but I was told if I wanted to drive 10 miles, I could pick them up at another location or I could have them shipped to my house within five days. Pretty hard to support local.When not only do they not have inventory.They don't carry the inventory and I wasted maybe an hour of my time. Amazon's delivering my boots tomorrow and they were cheaper. But honestly, I would rather pay an additional $20 to support jobs. But I can't. If they have nothing for me to buy

This all started on February 9th..when I ordered a mens Gt 1000 12 from the Sportchek in Etobicoke 165 queen st N. First.. it was nor available..then available so I waited 3 days to pick it up.The store is a long ways from me. So..I took the subway (17 stops) and short bus ride..picked up the order..while I was leaving the store..the package beeped twice thru the exit doors but cashier said it's OK. When I got home..after having beeped @ Shoppers..I discovered..they had left the inventory tag attached to the left shoe. I tried at Shoppers to remove it..different kind of magnet required so no go..sportchek sent me a survey I let them know their SCREWUP so I'm returning the shoes ( I have to anyways) because the inventory tag is still on..also bought something small there..which I'm still MAD so it's all going back. I kind of found out the "true colours of Sportchek" I will try to avoid buying there in he future..imagine making a " dumb" .mistake like that..not even giving the customer a $10 gift card..never again!

Went to buy running shoes and the young lad was to busy talking to other workers. When ask for a size he would check none in the store and he would leave .10 minutes later ask for another size...none and again he would leave. I'll never shop there again

I wish I could give them a negative number instead of 1 star. I will not order from them. They are the worst company to order from. Save yourself the trouble and use another company. The customer service department doesn't know what they are doing. Do not waste your time with them.
They lost my boots!
They lost the boots I ordered in store from online ( by delivering to the wrong address), won't give a store credit or new boots, AND they refunded the amount back to a per-paid credit card I don't have anymore...They didn't give me the decency of a call to discuss my options. Not to mention it took them over 3 weeks to try to resolve this issue. Worst customer experience ever; Not to mention, no accountability.
I won't be purchasing anything else from Sportchek anymore.

The online store is entirely useless when you cant check out. I tried everything possible to problem solve then I tried calling customer service where I followed the prompts only to be met with silence and was never connected to a customer service representative. The hours of the location in my city are minimal so its not even easy to get into the store to shop in person. Very frustrated.

Have always rated them 4 or 5 stars but after a couple online purchases I am very disappointed with their customer service. I was looking at getting my wife golf clubs around the Black Friday sales. Saw some cobras online that were a very good price so made the purchase. Over a week later a single men’s club shows up. After calling they said the sku number matched a men’s club. They had the wrong item listed on the website. About a week later a customer service manager emailed me and said just return it. No attempt to get me the right product. Left to scramble to get a gift to replace this one. Have spent thousands at sportchek and sister stores Canadian tire and mark’s. Really reconsidering where I go to now

Worst Online Ordering Company On The Market!!!
I have never dealt with such a horrible online ordering system in my life. Whether it be the incompetence of their online ordering system or their security department, they have no clue what they are doing. To get nine orders canceled so to incompetent selling of an item on their website, is absolutely ridiculous. When you call, no one seems to know why. Better off trying to purchase item directly through Nike or go into the store if available. To get a notification a week after confirmation that order is processing, is ridiculous,. Much less 9 times over!!!!!!!

Please also note that prices are outrageously high, and that after your very first purchase you will receive an email offering 10% off your next order. So rule number one: buy something for $10 first, then simply wait for the discount email.

I drove an hour to get the 50000 triangle reward money if you were buying from an outlet in the first two hours. I completed gathering my stuff and was told they had opened two hours before their website said they would be open. They refused to honor their commitments even though it was obviously their fault.
