At Space 2 Make in Accrington, Lancashire, we believe creativity should feel cosy, welcoming and fun for everyone. We are a friendly paint-your-own pottery and creative studio offering pottery painting, clay workshops, seasonal craft events, parties, baby prints, adult craft nights and hands-on creative experiences for all abilities. Whether you are visiting for a relaxing afternoon with friends, a family get-together, a hen party, baby shower, birthday celebration or simply a quiet creative escape with a brew and cake, our studio is designed to help people slow down, make memories and create something special. Our pottery painting studio offers a huge range of ceramics to paint including mugs, plates, bowls, animals, keepsakes and seasonal decorations. We also run popular clay handbuilding workshops where beginners can learn to make mugs, dishes, fairy houses, bird houses, plaques, flowers and decorative pieces using earthenware clay. All glazing and kiln firing is completed in-house, and our friendly guidance means no experience is needed. Space 2 Make is also known across Lancashire for creative workshops including crochet, sewing, weaving, block printing, furniture painting with Frenchic Paint, pixel pottery, themed seasonal events and adult craft clubs. We regularly host pottery and pizza nights, afternoon tea workshops, children’s parties, team-building sessions and exclusive private events. Customers often describe our studio as cosy, relaxing and welcoming, with a strong community feel and personal customer care. We pride ourselves on creating a calm and encouraging environment where people can switch off from busy life and enjoy making something by hand. Located in the heart of Accrington town centre, Space 2 Make welcomes visitors from across Lancashire including Blackburn, Burnley, Clitheroe, Preston, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley. Online booking is available for workshops, pottery painting and special events.

Great experience
Me and my granddaughter had a great few hours in the halloween mosaic workshop. We usually do the pottery painting so it was good to try something different. well organised and enjoyable. Shirley and Craig lovely and welcoming.
