I have purchased a lot of VIP tickets from this company and never had any issues. I recently bought tickets during a pre-sale for a band that then released VIP tickets seperately through another vendor. When I reached out to customer service, they were quick to respond and were super helpful in helping me get a refund. When the ticket information did change, they did a good job fully refunding the VIP experience part of the package and then when I asked for a full refund for the admission tickets that were linked to the package I had bought. This is one of my favorite places to buy VIP packages for my favorite band and are always super transparent and helpful for whenever I have needed to reach out to them.

The customer service has a speedy response and are incredibly helpful with issues that may arise. they helped me take care of my problems in no time at all.

Highly recommend,I bought tickets for Chiodos and some how missed all the “THIS DOESNT INCLUDE A TICKET TO THE SHOW” acknowledgements you make…well,show is tomorrow and I get the email that reiterates this and was like SHIT…I emailed customer service and through a couple back and forth as and understanding my absentmindedness and although it’s against policy they cancelled my order and refunded me and I can’t respect that enough as well as will always use them for any VIP experience that comes close to me

Customer service department for Sound Rink are spectacular.!!!!
They respond to your email within a matter of minutes, super polite and any adjustments you may need with tickets, QR coding, transfers or anything of the like, they're super quick and efficient with it. Specifically I want to give a nod like they do at the academy awards for Cassandra. Thank you guys for everything you do I'll be looking forward to doing more business with you in the future as I continue going to concerts.

I am writing this review 3 years after the incident because I was reviewing old transactions.

I purchased 2 VIP package tickets to see Dying Fetus in NYC on 06/03/2022.

I arrived at the venue for my "will call tickets" and the workers said we were "not on the list" and that they had zero record of any tickets at all. I showed them the email confirmation and still the venue said that they had zero records.

I sent customer service an email outside the venue at 8:28PM, they responded at 10:08PM "why was the venue not letting you get your tickets?". At 11:54PM I emailed back and said "They [the venue] told me they have no record of my tickets. They said they have never heard of Sound Rink and that they needed a ticket barcode to scan. I showed them the email confirmation from when I purchased the ticket, to which they didn't accept. My name is not on the will call/VIP list. I need a refund for this".

On 06/04/2022 they responded, "That is not true, you are on the list I sent to them. I will contact them now. Did you have to purchase tickets at the door? They will be the ones who will need to refund you since they were paid for your tickets and were on the list we sent them".

On 06/04/2022 6:12PM I responded, "I purchased tickets from you (Sound Rink) and will receive a refund from you. Grammercy theater (venue) has nothing to do with this. I purchased my tickets from you guys and therefore you guys are going to refund me. Grammercy has no record of my tickets.

cont: "According to the Better Business Bureau, you have a rating of 1.11/5. As far as I'm concerned I am being scammed. Your Facebook comments have several complaints of people not getting their tickets or money back. I drove 2 hours to NYC to be told they have never heard of Sound Rink. My entire day was wasted because I chose to purchase tickets from you. I expect a refund".

Their grand respond on 06/04/22 6:48PM, "Grammercy Theater is 100% at fault for this, not us. We have a contract in place where we can sell tickets with VIP packages and presale tickets. They supply us the tickets and they are paid for them. We paid them to have these tickets available for VIP and presale customers at will call. They told you they did not have tickets or an order from you. We cannot pay them for these tickets and then have them tell you there's no purchase and then we refund you when we did everything we were supposed to. They are responsible for this error, not us. We are not financially liable for paying them and then refunding customers for their mishaps. I've attached an image of the spreadsheet of buyers where you can clearly see you are listed, I have blurred one of the other customers that purchased for their privacy.

We actually sent them the VIP buyer list TWICE. Once a week or so ago and then again the day before the show because their internal team mishandled things. Obviously if they refund us the cost of the tickets, we will be the ones to initiate a refund but they are completely responsible for this mishap and I do apologize.

You are not being scammed. A band would not send their fans to a scam. What is a scam is the BBB. They are not an official agency in any way or form. They are a business that exists to charge businesses fees to put their logo on their site. And a handful of negative reviews, which the angriest people for things that may be a mishap or a miscommunication for a business that has existed for over a decade and had over a million transactions is far from an accurate representation.

Again, I'm sorry that this happened, we never like to hear about this. Speaking with the band's team, the NY show was chaotic because of the venue staff and a bunch of things went wrong on their end yesterday. I hear you and I understand your upset and anger regarding the situation but the venue is the one who that should be directed to. I will contact them now and let you know when I hear back from them.

The box office manager of Gramercy said they didn't report of any issues the day of with people picking up tickets and that other customers picked up their tickets. Do you remember who you had spoke to?

And if you're okay with me putting you in touch with them, they said they would speak with you regarding the matter."

My character limit is up but no one ever called me and I got a refund from my credit card company of $190 after they continued to lie and gaslight me. Date of experience was 06/03/2022

Obviously don't buy anything from them.

Soundtink does not provide details for their activities till 48 hours before the show. Nowhere in the site does it mention the meet and greet check in time is FOUR hours before show time meaning you need to miss most of your work day to check in. They will not refund and are completely unhelpful. Don’t use this service

I was scared that i was scammed.

i bought vip tickets for kittie, I had to try a coulple of times because the website glitched out. Payment came trough eventually, the only thing i got was a cryptic conformation email from soundrink.
The rest of the vip experience would be with the venue. Alright. My vip tickets werent visable in my soundrink account, and the venue knew nothing about if a vip would even be happening two weeks before. There also isnt really a way to contact soundrink for questions and the FAQ was last updated in 2021.

I did have a really good time at the vip, but i wouldnt buy vip from soundrink again if they dont change these things

They have scammed me out of VIP experience, show got cancelled and new show was hosted. Was unable to make new show as I was already scheduled for work and they refused to produce a refund for the side stage viewing experience. They stated a refund would be made to those who could not attend new date. They also did not include all the items in that the VIP experience was to include.

This is the 5th time I’ve bought tickets and or packages through sound rink. They suck. Either my stuff isn’t ready at the concert when I come and then I have to dig through my email while in line waiting to provide documentation that I bought stuff and then fight with the venue that I have what I actually bought. One time out of the five it went smoothly. I’m definitely not the only one either because there were a few of us at the last concert all on the side digging through old emails. Met some nice people though through our struggles and annoyances with sound rink though.

Terrible. I paid so much money for nothing. Half the stuff that I paid for I didn't even receive. The email said "back stage experience" I literally ran back stage in the middle of the concert cause that's when they said my "experience" was, for a few seconds then had to run back to my seats before I missed too much of the concert. Plus they never loaded the picture that I paid so much extra money for. This is a scam, no doubt.

Never gonna use there service as I did a mistake when buying a VIP ticket and wanted refund 3-4 weeks before show
They said they can’t refund me coz it’s in therms and condition which is always well hidden
But anyways they haven’t physically done anything for me . If is Amazon or anything else you have your money straight to way

Soundrink sucks! I purchases a $1500 VIP package to see Kreator. The morning of the show they emailed a do-not-reply saying sorry but because of "shipping" they wouldn't be able to honor my purchase. These people are terrible at what they do and bands need to start standing up to these theives.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!
This is the worse customer service I have ever dealt with. They are EXTREMELY unhelpful and rude! I hate that bands go with them for their ticket sales. Trying to get anything sorted out is a headache. If you don’t have to get tickets through them don’t!

Our confirmation said to go to will call for the ticket. They had no record of any tickets and didn’t seem to be familiar with the site at all. Very scammy.

I purchased the Motionless in White VIP upgrade and was completely disappointed. I got 3 items for my upgrade , a pin , a lanyard and an autographed poster . My problem is the package cost $65 and autographed posters were $35 at the show and completely limited , it was a poster of the location plus autographed compared to my $65 generic poster .
I would not have purchased had I know I could have paid less and gotten better poster .
Look into these guys before you purchase

I went to a Polyphia gig at Shepherds Bush in London. I paid for the VIP ticket, not only to meet the band but for the exclusive items which came with it.

We got nothing. No financial compensation or anything either, I emailed them a few times and got blanked all but once which basically said they are working on it but they clearly are not.

Although the VIP experience itself was good, I would not have purchased it if I knew I wouldn’t receive any of the things promised. It’s September now and this happened in May. I’m strongly considering to contacting PayPal at this point for some form of assistance to this situation as this is too far now.

The worst part is that this company are continuing to host these events with these promises, but are neglecting the previous events in favour of them. I don’t recommend this company. But if you don’t care for the items included in your package, then it’s a great time.

No issues. Customer service was responsive and assured me I would get my tickets. Which I did.

TIPS (although they already tell you this upfront):
1) Make sure you use the email you use with TM/Live Nation when ordering
2) Read the description of what you are buying

They advertise in large letters:

VIP PACKAGE
1 GA TICKET
MEET AND GREET
PHOTO
EXCLUSIVE POSTER

But what they don’t tell you is that you’re only purchasing a VIP “upgrade”, not an actual ticket. Oh, and you can’t attend the VIP experience without a ticket either. What happens if the tickets sell out? Tough. Their customer service has a “sucks to be you” attitude. Total scam artists.

The worst customer experience ever. I paid for a VIP package and was supposed to receive the merchandise at the event… didn’t receive any and was told it should have been sent to me before. It hadn’t so we couldn’t get anything signed. Emailed the company and all i get back are rude responses and i have been ignored now for over two months. Absolutely ridiculous and I am still yet to receive the merchandise I paid for.

You want to be notified when a vip package is sold out? don't count on them . The customer service is bad. They reply back 1/5. They really lost a lot since a year. Don't know who's in this department but he/she should be fired . So sad that it's not like it used to be ...
