This was my first Solos holiday so I was unsure of what to expect, but from the minute I arrived at the hotel I felt very comfortable. Gary our tour leader explained everything verbally and through the Whatsapp. The Hotel was very nice and my room was very spacious. Every step of the holiday was well co-ordinated and organised. Gary our tour guide was professional, friendly, funny and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him and any problems were sorted out quickly. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday to any other first timers to Solos and hope to book another one in the future.

My first Solo’s trip and it exceeded my expectations! As soon as we got together we were all chatting and hearing each other’s stories which I loved. Within a couple of days it felt like being in a private club with friends. Such a fantastic group of people! The Hotel Nereides location is very central with easy access to everything, it was just perfect for socialising, all the staff made us feel like family and contributed greatly to the wonderful experience. Gary Bailey our group host was amazing. Always on hand to help, answer questions and join in the fun..a really nice guy who looked out for everyone. This holiday was like therapy for me..I am missing this group enormously but came home with a heart full of happy ❤️

I spent a wonderful week in Halkidiki, Greece at Nereides Hotel which was very good with lovely staff and a beautiful pool area. Solos tour leader, Gary Bailey, was very professional, helpful and great company. I can’t recommend him enough. Nice fellow travellers and we all got on very well.

Had a fabulous first Solo holiday in Halkadiki with an amazing group of people. Our tour host Gary was amazing & we were well looked after nothing was too much trouble for him. Already looking to book another trip. Linda

For me the holiday provided just what I wanted and almost better than advertised. Daytime flights, lovely and comfortable hotel with great staff and ourSolo host Gary was always around ready to sort out any issues, organise trips etc and definitly helped the whole group bond together a fantastic host

A lovely relaxing week. Really nice hotel with great staff, especially Domenica's mojitos. Our tour guide, Gary, was fantastic arranging optional day trips and group evening meals and making sure everyone had a great time.

I just came back yesterday from a week in Halkidiki and I had a great time. Gary Bailey was a really good tour host and we all felt relaxed and happy. He was very supportive of all of us individually and I found him to be very kind and helpful. I loved the holiday, the hotel, the area and the group! Thank you!

I have been on many Solos Holidays and they have all been very good. Zante walking holiday was made even better having Fiona as our Tour leader. Always thinking of us and making sure we have a great time exploring. Nothing was too much trouble. Super organised,freindly and professional. Great local guides, beautiful walks and close to the beach. I would absolutely happily book and travel again with Fiona . Thank you 😊

Went on the Zakynthos walking holiday with Tour Leader Fiona Quinn. A great experience, walks were wonderful with beautiful views and flowers. The local walking guide was great. Fiona was excellent, very knowledgable about the island and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a fabulous holiday. Def recommend this holiday if Fiona is doing it next year!

Just come home from my 9th holiday with Solos. As always, another wonderful experience. This time was the Wellness Week on Thassos - absolutely blissful ! Our 5* hotel was awesome, food and service exceptional, and our tour leader Michelle felt like a trusted friend within a day, her genuine warmth was felt by all of us, her experience and professionalism ensured that everyone had their perfect holiday. The yoga sessions (if you wanted them ) were a welcome start to the day, and the free hour long massage was enjoyed by all of us. The only downside was that the week passed much too quickly, but by then, fourteen people who had started the week as strangers ended it as friends.

A fantastic holiday at Lake Garda with Solos! Beautiful walks, stunning scenery, delicious Mediterranean food, and fun, friendly fellow travellers made this an unforgettable and perfectly organised trip. Highly recommended!

This was my third holiday with Solos and it couldn’t have been better. The group couldn’t have been nicer and our host Scott went above and beyond in his role. The hotel was lovely and I certainly will return in the future.

Just back from a Solos Lake Garda walking holiday. What a fantastic time I have had, in a stunning beautiful location. I hadn't done anything like this for a long time, but wasn't disappointed.
What a lovely group of people I have enjoyed time with, the week went over so quickly.
Michelle our tour leader was such a warm, friendly, fun person and so professional with it. We were looked after from start to finish and kept up to date with all arrangements.
The walks led by the lovely, local guide Mariella were so much fun and interesting too.
There was so much choice of things to do and you were never alone, unless you wanted to just do your own thing.. and if you did, everyone caught up in the evening with interesting tales to tell.
If you are thinking of booking a Solos holiday then go for it! You will not regret it!
I am already looking to see where I can go next with Solos.

I’ve had a wonderful walking week in Lake Garda. Our fearless leader, Michelle, was absolutely fantastic. She took care of us every step of the way and made sure to check in with everyone and make sure we had everything we needed. The group was simpatico and I believe we all had a great time. I wouldn’t hesitate to do this again.

Scott was very helpful and very supportive. Just he didnt buuy me the right shot. Great tiur leader, had an epic holiday. Looking forward to my next solos holiday and hopefull this wee Scotsman will be the Tour Leader for the next one. Overall an enjoyable holiday looking forward to the next one.

A wonderful resort, first class & the staff are exceptionally nice & helpful.
Our rep Scott was kind, cheerful & very capable. We all felt very ‘cared for’ by him as nothing was too much trouble. A very good ambassador for Solos.

V well organised holiday and great hotel and support from the Solos rep (special mention to Scott!). My first experience and it was a joy!

I have just returned from an incredible trip to New Zealand. The tour was non-stop sightseeing. We started off in Auckland then travelled up to the Bay of Islands, our coach driver/ guide on the North Island was Alex she was brilliant and gave us a real insight into the way of life and customs of the country. She answered any questions that we had and it felt like she was part of the group. We covered all the main tourist attractions staying at fantastic hotels along the way. We arrived on South Island and travelled through the most amazing scenery. Each day just got better and better. Our tour leader Gary was excellent, so friendly and cheerful. He even arranged a detour for me to see the grave of my Great grandfather. This was most unexpected as I just happened to mention casually that he was buried near to where we were.
This demonstrates what a great tour leader he is, he certainly goes above and beyond to make the holiday a wonderful experience for everyone. He is a real asset to the company.
The tour was well organised I saw so much and learnt so much about the country, A holiday of a lifetime .

Just returned from a fantastic three week New Zealand tour covering both the North and South Islands. This was an extremely well planned holiday ensuring we visited the key areas and attractions the Islands had to offer. The whole experience was led by our super Team Leader Gary Bailey. Gary ensured we maximised every opportunity to see an amazing country and experience a range of interesting activities. His energy, warmth, super personality and great sense of humour made the holiday the best it could be for the Group. I hope I get to go on another Solos holiday with Gary

When I decided to book a holiday to New Zealand I knew that I wanted to go with Solos, having previously had two excellent holidays with them. As ever, the process of booking my holiday was straightforward and seamless, and I like the app.
This was my first Discovery holiday and it far exceeded my expectations. It was well organised with a comprehensive and brilliant itinerary. The trips were fantastic - for me especially were the cruises, the Māori experiences, and the mountains.
A special thank you goes to our amazing tour guide, Gary, who always went above and beyond to ensure that we saw everything. His professionalism and first-hand knowledge of New Zealand proved invaluable in this respect. Gary also brought a genuine warmth and humour into the mix which ensured that we had an enjoyable and fun time. A truly awesome trip.
