Appalling customer service and lack of attention to detail
I attended Sinclair Van Centre Swansea to have a first service on my mobility vehicle. It was a basic oil and filter service.
After waiting 2.5hrs I had to ask for the keys to be given back to me (I'd seen the mechanic park the vehicle and return the keys to the service desk 30 minutes prior). I wasn't sure why it had taken so long to A- perform a very basic task and B- to return my keys. There was only myself and one other customer in the facility. I had a feeling something was not right and decided to check that the work was carried out properly and professionally.
Upon opening the bonnet I immediately noticed that there was oil spilled around the top of the engine, dead leaves and grit in the oil spill well (around the filler cap) and spilt oil. I opened the oil filler cap and found 3 leaves inside my engine!!
After complaining and asking how this could possibly have happened, I was told that I had put the leaves there myself and to not contact the company again. I have emailed the maintenance manager twice and have not received an acknowledgement or a reply yet alone an apology.
I am now left with a vehicle that I depend upon for my mobility that I do not trust and am waiting to breakdown because I feel they have contaminated the engine.
I will not be using this company again and would advise others to carefully check what has been done.
They should treat people with disability as any other person.
The one star I have given is not even deserved and I will be taking the matter further, along with the evidence I have. If they had apologised I would have let the matter rest but I will now make sure other people know what this main dealer garage are doing to people and their vehicle.

We found that your salesman Joe Needham went the extra mile to insure we were happy with our purchase.
He was very professional in answering all our questions and got our new vehicle ready in time for us.
He made sure that we were happy before we left the forecourt and he’s also been very helpful with any questions after sales.

Our experience with Sinclair group Swansea was amazing. Kyle Evan’s kept us updated on the progress of our vehicle. Kyle explained everything that we needed to know to get us on the road.
