Sherborne supply a great product (Evolution) and the two installation teams for our windows and conservatory projects took a great deal of care which we were very pleased with. A few minor snags were also attended to very promptly. Overall from the beginning of the sales process to the end of the installation finish, Sherborne provide very good customer service and I would definitely recommend them and would use them again

Sherborne put in triple glazed windows, porch and front door/frame on our house over a three/ four day period. Of all the companies we went to Sherborne were by far the most professional and also the most engaged- they laid out costs and benefits clearly, listened to us and were upfront about the process and what they offered. Everyone, from the initial salesman to the on site installers were professional and pleasant, arriving on time, getting on with the job and dealing with queries quickly and effectively. teething problems post installation were swiftly dealt with, very happy with the quality of the work and the finished product. Not the cheapest but I have the feeling you get what you pay for. Highly recommend.

John the salesman was very good as was the Building manager.
General experience was good bar the points below. I liked the 'Can do' attitude with my ideas.

Sherborne have the following issues:

1, Quality assurance issues - once doors/glass are received by Sherborne from their suppliers, they obviously don't check the items for damage/fault issues. There was obvious issues from the factory. They missed the chance to inspect beforehand and sort out before installation. The installers noticed issues after fitting and I noticed some too.

2, Although I was told all the building services are in house, they are not.

3, Communication could be improved. Wasn't told that the plasterer will have to come another occasion to do the work so had to take another day off work.

4, Their electrician is not employed by them and I did not have a good experience with him. His quote was VERY expensive and much more than all other electricians who quoted. I think Sherborne are potentially losing work because of him. Also he specifically stated he will re-route a cable horizontally in-between the top of new patio door and ceiling rather than pull cable back into ceiling void, across ceiling void and back down again. He's suggestion was a) easy work for him and b) against regulations as it now presents a risk of someone drilling into it for example if new occupant wanted to put a curtain rail above patio door.

5, the plasterer who also is not employed by them did not do a great job and was reluctant to repair all the damaged plasterwork. Also very poor screeding that left the floor uneven

I would use Sherborne again and I hope they have rectified the above points.

Have used Sherborne several times in the past for windows, a porch, an office,and replacement doors. Always been very happy with their service. Needed a kitchen extension and refurbishment--Sherborne were our choice again. Had several hiccups during the work-which you would expect on such a major project. The plastering team in particular had to return several times...Sherborne are almost victims of their own success ( which I know senior management are aware of and are actioning ), as the teams involved were under pressure to finish and move on to their next job.However throughout we were in frequent contact with Andy Long, who responded immediately and ensured any problem encountered was rectified and resolved straight away. It is because of Sherborne's sincere and honest approach to Customer Care that I have given five stars and not four. It is why we have continued to use them over the years. Since completion many of our neighbours have been very complimentary on the finished work.
Would I use them again ? Absolutely !
Would I recommend them ? Unhesitatingly !

Fantastic service - absolutely outstanding from my initial meeting in the showroom through to delivery and installation. Everyone has been professional and courteous keeping the lines of communication open to an excited but slightly nervous customer - frankly going for the perfect green door was aways high risk but Sherborne delivered!!

This is the 2nd time that I have used Sherborne to carryout installations at my home. On each occasion I have found them a very professional company to deal with. From their sales reps through the design and construction phases their work ethic and build quality was exceptional.

Furthermore I was kept updated throughout the whole process by their Senior Management, even to receiving weekly updates accompanied by photographs. As a company they were a joy to deal with and I would have no hesitation in recommending their work to anyone planning on the installation of a conservatory.

So glad we chose Sherborne to build our conservatory. The workmen were efficient, tidy and friendly. We were thrilled with the end result which far exceeded our expectations - so big and airy! Our thanks to you all at Sherborne.... two very happy customers.

Outstanding workmanship and result in the wonderful transformation that our orangery has achieved to our home and our daily living. Everything was explained to us from the start to the end and staff were very courteous and professional in their work field. Timescales were achieved and Tim managed to design our dream orangery successfully. Sherborne come out trumps!

From start to finish, it was a very professional and painless experience.
Chris was amazing through the sales process and Stan and Mike were hard working, diligent and a pleasure to have on site.

I want to try and be balanced with giving this review so will start with the pros - our windows look great and the installers were very nice, the door we had (even though it cost over £1000) wasn't great in terms of the look.

However, from when we met the sales person in the showroom I was dubious - he was very salesy, didn’t listen much at all. It seemed he had his set standard of things he had to run through and was going to do it regardless. Perhaps some retraining to listen to customers a bit more would be useful. We had two different people recommend Sherborne and so when were presented with the price which was within our budget we decided to give the benefit of the doubt and go ahead.

When it came to the site survey our price went up! BE WARNED. We were told by the sales guy we had been quoted a like for like price but when the surveyor came out a dummy sash's weren’t included so up went the price £450. Following the survey my wife had a call from the sales guy to say they had the quote for some lead flashing above one of the windows and it had come back at just over £1000 when only £175 had been allowed for by the sales guy. I phoned to speak to him and challenged him on this, given he had been doing the job 20 years, how could he get this estimate so far out? They then decided the flashing didn’t need doing at all (which it clearly did). I have since organised this myself at a cost of £600 but this was more of my time and money I wasn't banking on. On installation the guys were very good and courteous, they did break a window but these things happen. The glass on the door we had fitted was scratched and I think they came back about 3 additional times to remedy this, each time the new glass was scratched, they blamed the manufacturers - why not just check the glass before coming over to fit it!? It took about 2 months to entirely finish the job from when the fitters first left site and now I have discovered Sherborne are not FENSA registered and I have to do the registration of the instalment myself!

I really do hate to write a negative review but felt I had to warn other customers - hopefully we were a one off but there is no way I will use them again. Staff in their Farnborough showroom seem generally uninterested whenever you speak to them too.

Sherborne advised, supplied and fitted sash windows to the front of our Victorian property. Originally we were going to go for wood replacements but after Sherborne showed us the Bygone Collection we were converted. All the look of authentic sash windows without the maintenance of wood and with modern day security features. Perfect! So many people have commented on them and our new etched front door - even complete strangers passing by!

Having thoroughly researched other suppliers for replacement doors Sherborne by far provided the best value for money. All aspects of service from initial consultation, on site survey and installation were of the highest standard and the final product exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

My wife and I would just like to say what a fantastic job Sherborne has done on installing our windows, doors and conservatory. All of the guys have been brilliant and the quality of the workmanship is top notch.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Sherborne to anyone.

Once again Sherborne have carried out another installation at our property, they have installed three windows and two bays windows.
The installers were customer focused, they have carried out a first-class job within the time scale given, they were extremely pleasant and arrived when they said they would.
They have highlighted a slight mark in one of the glass panels and have arranged for it to be replaced.
We are now Sherborne, out as they have replaced all the windows and doors, built a conservatory and replaced the guttering and boards.
Over the period of 10 years we have been pleased with their sales staff and how the installations were carried out and how they have dealt with the snags (Three) over the ten years.
I would recommend them without any hesitation, a first class local company who cares.

I recently bought 2 casement windows from the North Camp branch. The customer service was excellent at all times. The information at the showroom was available from both the sales team and the surveyor who was in the showroom at the time. I felt I gained a lot of information to help me choose the windows I wanted.
We are delighted with the installation and the products. We chose timber windows, which are smart and work very well. I would recommend the company, and use them again.

Process throughout has been great. What started as a conservatory became an extension, planning and permissions all sorted without fuss. Communication excellent, all queries handled quickly and professionally by all involved.

We chose Sherborne on the basis of a recommendation from friends and were not disappointed. The workmanship has been first class, with everything being completed in time and within budget!
