We’re very pleased with the quality of our kitchen. We chose SKO over a well-known kitchen chain because we preferred the quality of the product and liked that its a local company. The design and ordering process was generally smooth. At delivery, we were advised that some items had been identified as damaged and would follow separately, which they did, so we were happy with how that was handled.

Where the experience has fallen short is communication and customer service. We appreciate that SKO is a small company and clearly busy, but we’ve struggled to get responses. We’ve recently been trying to purchase some additional products for our kitchen. When we call, we’re told our sales advisor is unavailable and that we can get a callback, but it never happens. Two months, three emails and three phone calls later, we’re still waiting for a response.

We actually noticed during the design process our experience of customer service and follow up from the larger chain was better so it’s been a consistent issue. The lack of communication leaves you feeling undervalued as a customer and gives the impression that smaller follow-up orders simply aren’t a priority.

Overall, we’re happy with the kitchen itself and have recommended SKO to others based on its quality. However, the customer service has not matched the standard of the product, which is a real shame.

Ken and Damo delivered our new kitchen from Sheffield Kitchen Outlet this morning, and they were brilliant. They were polite, very careful handling everything, and got all the items unloaded into our house in no time. Fantastic service from start to finish—highly recommend!

Excellent customer service and quality products, with great delivery. We are really happy with the end result of our kitchen makeover. All the trades have been very respectful to us and our property. We would highly recommend SKO.

It is now some months since we had our kitchen installed and it was not until a friend commented how nice it was I remembered I had not submitted a review.
Very well constructed units made locally with quality draw and interior furniture at a very respectable price. Very well designed by Richard provides for a very usable kitchen which over the past few months we have come to fully appreciate.
Not all went perfectly, incorrect splash back ordered but this was most satisfactory resolved. Its easy to give 5 star reviews when everything goes well but the true test of a company is how problems are resolved and in our case it was first class.
I hope the owners read these reviews as I can only reiterate many others that everyone connected to the company we dealt with from showroom, admin and delivery were courteous, respectful and a pleasure to deal with.
Colin the fitter worked tirelessly to see the kitchen installed and functioning in four days reducing the time we were inconvenienced .

Could not fault SKO from the design and pricing of which there were many changes and Jaimie Day was very patient and helpful.
The guys who delivered were great.
We used SKO fitter Stuart who completed a superb job.
We also used the fitters own team for plastering and electrics and both were spot on.
The price was amazing as well for what we ordered compared to the likes of Howdens, Wren, Magnet and Direct Kitchens etc.
One of the amazing plus points is SKO can make units to any width.

SKO came recommended which is always a good start. From Jon coming to measure up and give me suggestions to visiting the fabulous showroom in Hillsborough I was impressed. I really was spoilt for choice as they have so many options. The quality of the products, the price, and communication are excellent. The delivery guys were careful and respectful. Everything happened on the dates stated. Very happy with the finished product

Just had my SKO kitchen delivered (by Lee,Ken,Damo & Dan).
The guys phoned me prior to setting off to give me an idea of delivery time which was really appreciated as I don’t currently live at the property.
They assessed the access options and did a really good job of manoeuvring an entire kitchen through pretty narrow external doors. They did this very skillfully 👍

Our delivery team telephoned and gave us plenty of notice on our kitchen delivery. It was one of the hottest days of the year and Tom, Ken and Brad worked very hard carrying all the kitchen into our house. They were all very friendly and polite with a bit of friendly banter. They all showed respect for us and our property. Top service from a very hard working team.

Lee and Ken delivered our furniture today and they were brilliant - really helpful and organised. Really appreciate the care they took.

Very friendly staff. As my neighbour couldn't be home for her kitchen delivery, they were happy to communicate with me. Called day before delivery to check in and on day of delivery to advise on time. Delivered promptly. Everything was offloaded with care and the guys even considered best places to leave everything so kitchen fitter has access to everything. Have been mindful of property.
I can't comment on quality of kitchen as that is for my neighbour to look at.
Overall very happy with the delivery services.
