Shackletons Home & Garden Anmeldelser

We ordered a bed from Shackletons. The bed is beautiful but unfortunately was damaged . We would recommend if you are elderly to take advantage of their service to deliver , assemble and removal of packaging . This was our error. The after sales customer care proved to be excellent , particularly Linzi who understood our frustration and resolved the situation . Just what you would hope for from a family business.

Excellent service and quality chairs
In July 2025 I ordered 2 Salisbury chairs. These chairs are sold by other retailers but Shackletons price was the cheapest we could find and the company had good reviews. We were originally told they would be delivered in August but I later received an apology as there were no chairs in stock. We were advised it could be early December before they were delivered as they were made and coming from overseas. I have since established that it is fairly typical to wait that long for furniture deliveries. Shackletons sent an email telling me when the chsirs were in transit from overseas. Once ready for delivery from UK I received an email and text and was able to track the position. Delivery service was excellent. I was kept informed of approximate time throughout the delivery day.

The chairs were so well packaged it would've been impossible for them to get damaged in transit.

Despite the wait I am extremely pleased with my purchase and Shackletons' service.

I recently ordered the Vancouver Round Extending Dining Table from Shackleton’s Home and Garden, and I’m absolutely delighted with both the product and the service. The website was easy to use, and the ordering process was straightforward from start to finish.

We where told that the store was dog friendly, we had gone in to purchase £3000 table and chairs, also the a garden set in the sale, around £2000, then asked to leave because we had a very well trained dog. Their loss, it’s no Sandersons

All the staff we met in the store were really friendly and welcoming, but we must make special mention of Ellie who made us feel really welcome and talked us through the Gluten Free options available. We would also like to mention Rachel, Scarlett, Lucy and Davine who all made our visit to the cafe a real treat. I am Gluten intolerant and have to say that the bakers, Sarah and Alison made the best Gluten Free scone I have ever had and my wife thought the White Chocolate and Pistachio cake was delicious as well . Well done to Shackletons at Fox Valley.

Just a heads up to others who may want to go here with their dog - AI says it is dog friendly but it isn't. I believe the garden centre (which is where we had stopped off at) is aware but doesn't know how to remove the AI info. We did look on the garden centre website but couldn't find anything relating to dogs - perhaps the website needs amending to reflect this, just a thought.

Customer service always first class
Garden centre a must visit place

Bought garden furniture which according to the website was eligible for free mainland delivery however, at checkout there was a £60 “Highlands & Islands” surcharge.
Attempted to call to discuss this but the number on the website was not recognised.
Eventually found another number and was informed that the charge was down to the delivery company and had to be paid.
I live 35 miles north of Edinburgh just off the motorway network about 250 miles from Shackletons. Interestingly if I lived at Lands End, 400 miles from Shackletons there would be no delivery charge, go figure.
I asked the delivery driver if he was aware of the surcharge but he had never heard of this before.

Excellent from start to finish.
Easy to order. Great communication from them and their courier as to when and how the delivery would arrive.
Arrived on time as pre arranged time.
Slight problem that customer service dealt with in a prompt friendly professional manner. Can tell this is a family run company and your not just another number.

Great service in store and with the after sales for the purchase of our lovely garden furniture.

I have bought several things over the years from Shackletons, but recently purchased a large olive tree. Fantastic chap in the garden centre (Jon I think) and delivery was spot on (Ivan). Genuinely a great place.

Great support and understanding from the whole team at Shackletons. Naheem has been so easy to deal with at the sales end, and the customer services team have been top notch. Would have no second thoughts dealing with Shackletons at any time. Keep it up team. You’re a tough act to follow!!

First class customer service. Great communication throughout the whole process. The chairs I bought are of a great quality and very comfortable. A great addition to my listening room. 👍👍

Excellent follow up care after purchasing a dining set.
Leah sorted all the issues for me and I’m delighted with my purchase.
Arrow delivery services were excellent too.

Viewed the product in store and then placed order by phone. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful in helping to place the order. Product arrived on time. The quality of the furniture is very good. The table when fully open comfortably seats 6 and looks well even for seating just four. The dining chairs are comfortable and look lovely. Very good value for money. Looks great with matching sideboard.
Shackletons is an excellent company to deal with - highly recommend!

Amazing garden furniture, thank you!

We had a brilliant experience with Shackletons Home & Garden from start to finish. The showroom staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful — no pushy sales talk, just honest advice. The quality of the furniture we bought is outstanding, solid, and exactly what we were hoping for. Delivery was smooth and on time, and the team even helped with placement and setup. It’s rare to find a company that combines beautiful products with proper customer service. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!

Great service, quick delivery and the Furniture looks great!

Some delay in getting my initial order accepted but once it was, the process worked really well. Good information on the delivery and everything was supplied exactly as expected. The product is superb very happy.

What a lovely company to deal with. I ordered a leather armchair and matching stool and three side tables on the phone from a super helpful lady, warm professional and super knowledgeable. I had to send the tables back as whilst lovely, they were too big. That was this morning, and refund processed already, just a couple of hours later. No hassle or fuss. Brilliant. Well done Shackletons and thank you.
