Scott was exceptional and took his time explaining the intricacies of my swing.
Being kack handed he explained that I automatically deloft the club and turn my 7 iron into a 6 iron.
That explains why I wasn’t achieving the trajectory I should have.
After going through various set up we eventually found the right one for me .
It felt really comfortable and unpressurised and I’m sure will help my game.
First class set up and service and already recommended them to a co worker.

I went for a fitting at another retailer where they only fit a 7 iron. I was apprehensive to purchase off the back of trying only the Seven so I decided to try SGGT. I am so glad I did, although the other fitting did a good job with the 7 I found when I tried the wedge and 4 iron at SGGT they wasn’t for me. SGGT fitted using a wedge,8,6 and 4 iron . I’ve now played a couple of rounds with my new irons and I wish I had done it ages ago. This is the only place I will ever go to in future, I can not recommend them enough.

Had my iron fitting today with Laurence at SGGT Chesterfield.

I was a bit apprehensive, having last been properly fitted at Ping, in Gainsborough.

This fitting blew the ping fitting out of the water! Laurence was excellent, he was professional, courteous and full of knowledge.

I couldn’t believe the time he gave me going through all the many options available, until finally we found a perfect match.
He even gave me a tip for better ball striking, which showed on my stats.

Overall, I am more than pleased, to the point I am hopefully going to book myself in for my woods.

Have been with Scott and Team since early days at Craigmillar Park GC, am now in my 70's and able to continue playing the level of golf that I want to and find wholly satisfying, no fuss, no stress, supported by fitted shafts and clubs that make it possible. Take my advice = arrange a fitting with SGGT.

I had a great experience at SGGT glasgow. Aaron first established what I wanted to get out of the fitting and if any clubs I would like to try. He then went about establish a base line with my old irons. He used all experience and we narrowed down what was going to work for me to two heads. We then dialled in the best shaft and finally ensure that it worked on both 8 and pw. I was over the moon with the results. The use of the trackman data makes the full process data driven but also takes into account your own personnel feel to get the best possible fit. Into the bargain the price for my irons was very competitive. I would recommend SGGT to anyone who is thinking of getting new clubs. It ensures that you get the best clubs for you.

Had a brilliant experience at SGGT Edinburgh with Scott Fraser and James Wilson. Their attention to detail was outstanding throughout the fittings I had for my irons and woods. Both guys are really friendly and took the time to understand what I was looking to achieve through the fitting. They took the time to understand my swing, explain the data, and find the perfect setup for me achieving even better results than I expected.
The whole process was professional, friendly, and thoroughly enjoyable. There won’t be a better fitting anywhere. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Had a driver fitting with James which was excellent. He clearly has a great passion for the job and is extremely knowledgeable about the vast range of gear available from many manufacturers at SGGT. He is highly skilled at using the Trackman data in combination with reading the fuzzier subjective feedback from the player in order to home in on the exact combination of shaft and head that will help the most. At the same time he is also very personable to work with and immediately puts the customer at their ease. Can't recommend too much. The experience and service are very superior and suitable for everyone whatever standard of golfer.

Went for a driver shaft fitting expecting to pay £300 to £400, but James saw straight away the cause of my problems, adjusted the driver and added some weight now im finding the middle everytime, highly reccommend paying a visit

I was a bit dubious about going for fitting but after I had been there for ten minutes I realised I’d made the right decision the staff were brilliant I came back from this experience with the right clubs for me and a lot more confidence I would recommend sggt to anyone yours sin Malcolm cousins

Not my first experience with SGGT at Swanston, as always a brilliant experience. I went in for an iron fitting with an idea of what I wanted from the session, and a particular iron brand in my mind. I came out with something totally unexpected and the improvements I was looking for fulfilled.

Scott Fraser was, as always, very professional, chatty and knowledgeable. He quickly had me hitting irons consistently, through trial and error with numerous shaft and head combinations, comparing data from my current clubs as a base measure. At the end of the iron fitting I asked about a 4 rescue which he quickly assembled working from the specs of the irons. I have never hit a club so well so often in my golfing life, hope it carries to the course.

I'm a senior, mid-handicap golfer, not looking for more distance but more consistency. I have not purchased golf clubs off the shelf for many years and believe if you are spending a lot of money on a set of clubs, spending a little extra to get properly fitted is well worth it.

This was an emergency. I managed to break my driver shaft on 1 July and visited SGGT on 2 July. My new shaft was delivered this morning resulting in minimal inconvenience to me. The goody bag was a delightful gesture. It's no surprise that I have chosen SGGT to be my preferred fitter and club builder.

SGGT are without a doubt the leaders in custom fitting in Scotland. My driver fitting was expertly handled by James, and my irons fitting by Scott. Their professionalism and depth of knowledge truly stand out — it’s clear they are committed to delivering the best possible experience and product for every client.

I’ve recently received my new driver and, after a number of rounds, I can't believe the improvement in both accuracy and distance. My confidence is growing, and I’m genuinely excited to receive my new irons. This has been the best golf equipment investment I’ve ever made — one I know will save me money in the long run.

I fully intend to return and complete the bag with their expert help.

All I can is WOW can't believe the difference on my drives I have easily gained 30-40 yards and on the fairway....
I would recommend anyone looking to change clubs go to SGGT for a fitting before purchasing anywhere else well worth the time if you want to improve your game.

I went to SGGT(Scotland) in March and April to be fitted for irons and driver. Now we are into the golf season I am very content with the clubs and know I have made the correct decision going for the fittings. My scores are reflecting this and already improved my handicap from 3 to scratch.

Both Scott and James took the time to fit me into the best club combinations for my game as I did have a couple of options to choose from. I cannot recommend SGGT enough and do not know why I have not made the trip to them before.

Will not make the mistake in future to buying a clubs off the shelf. Save yourself the guess work when buying golf clubs and go to SGGT, get piece of mind and know a club is build for your own requirements.

There mantra of “swing your swing and we will build the clubs around you” certainly is true to make golf as easy as it can be.

I was treated well straight away I arrived, James was very calm and expertly guided me through the whole process of fitting.

Aaron was very good knowledgable and his advice on what shaft and clubhead and grip was excellent I now have the most balanced driver I have ever had and I’m hitting the ball further too it’s not cheap but well worth the money

Been a few times t SGGT was there 2 weeks ago and got fitted with a Titleist GT 1 driver My fitter James made me very comfortable & explaining the process how we got to this driver and spec If you want to get fitted with clubs I certainly wouldn’t go past SGGT ALAN BRUCE
