I have had club fittings before however this was different class. Aaron was very knowledgeable and great to deal with. I felt like a tour pro, I am far from it as a 4 handicap however hopefully my new driver can lower this. I tried many different heads and different shafts. Great experience and highly recommended a fitting.

Absolutely great fitting session with Aaron at SGGT Glasgow (June 2026)! I went in with specific ideas, but Aaron’s incredible expertise and data-driven approach completely transformed my ball striking. He patiently guided me through an intense 200+ ball iron, hybrid and driver fitting session, dialing in perfect yardage gaps and optimising my landing angles. I walked out with a fully custom-specced dream bag. Aaron was phenomenal from start to finish!

The service I received was quick. I was kept up to date with my order and called as soon as my product arrived in store.

Highly recommend Scott Fraser for an iron fitting at SGGT in Edinburgh. The fitting itself is comprehensive and the aftercare is excellent too. SGGT provide a fitting experience at a level above what I’ve seen at other fitting centres.

I recently had a driver fitting at SGGT Edinburgh with James.

From the moment I arrived, I felt really welcomed. At the start of the fitting, we had a good conversation about my goals for the session and what my ‘miss’ is on the course.

James demonstrated his extensive knowledge as we experimented with various combinations of shafts and heads. The outcome was significantly tighter dispersion and an additional 12 yards of carry.

Afterward, he gave me a tour of the fitting studio and explained the building process to me.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I plan to return when I next upgrade my bag.

Went down for a fitting to Glasgow store for new irons with Aaron. Right from hitting some warm up shots and then moving onto actual fitting Aaron made the whole process such an enjoyable experience. We tried several different makes and models and ended up on Titleist T150, and then fine tuned with the shafts/grips. So happy with how the whole fitting went and the professionalism from Aaron was followed up by the support team with great communication on the status of the order, which was received 10 days after the fitting. Would definitely recommend using SGGT - Glasgow.

Really personal and relaxed assessment. Lot of confidence in Scott's judgement and generally exceptional customer service (Including post visit experience and ongoing communications as my new clubs are custom made) Thank you and would not could not recommend the team there more highly.

I would like to start bye saying both Aaron and Ryan were absolutely fantastic having not done any fittings before they put me at ease right away. I had fittings for irons wedges driver and wood throughout the November and into start of December
I recently started playing again after close to 30yrs so decided to upgrade to more modern clubs I started with the iron fitting and after testing multiple clubs and shafts settled on Titliest irons then it was onto the driver and 5 wood again after multiple drivers and shafts we settled on a Callaway Elyte and a Srixzon zi5 wood with custom shaft .A couple of weeks later I got word that Callaway could not provide the head and what a blessing that turned out to be as I waited for the new Taylormade and quantum drivers to come out in February . So we arranged an appointment to go try these out after trying each driver with several shafts etc they just were not working so Aaron produced a head that he said was just in that day and I was first to hit this the new Ping g440k well all I can say game changer every drive I hit went straight down the middle absolutely great spin stats etc I also got fitted for wedges
But in finishing this review I would like to say anyone having second thoughts about going to these guys dont they are brilliant
I waited until now to review so as I had multiple rounds with my new clubs and as I say they are game changers for me I was regularly anywhere from 84 to 81 on my home course and had an ambition to get under 80 bye end of season but already the quality of the fitting done bye Aaron and Ryan has seen me surpass that with a 78 on my 3rd round and I am continuing to play much better . That Ping g440k has made an amazing difference to my game

I was fitted for a driver at SGGT in Chesterfield with Jordan. The whole 1.5 hours was an education and at the end - despite wanting to buy a more expensive club, the one that worked the best was recommended by Jordan and he saved me £80. The experience was first class and all the balls were pro v1 clean and crisp. I would recommend anyone wanting to buy a driver to get it fitted and SGGT are perfect.

Was in for a Driver & 3 Wood fitting with Ryan at Glasgow site. Excellent experience and Ryan explained everything really well. I have limited mobility and Ryan went above and beyond to make sure i got the most out of my fitting. Thanks.

Had an appointment for a driver fitting with James Wilson at SGGT Edinburgh today. Learnt about SGGT from YouTube. An amazing set up and lots of friendly staff. The appointment was scheduled for 90 mins and James very skilfully managed the rhythm of the physical effort and the technical information throughout the appointment. He was clearly very knowledgeable about all aspects and technical data of the equipment we were trying, but not once was he trying to dazzle me with this information. He was very skilled at making me feel at ease in his world. I cannot speak highly enough about James and the team at SGGT Edinburgh. I can only recommend anybody who is in the market for new golf equipment make an appointment at SGGT now. There is a waiting time of about 4 weeks for an appointment with James at Edinburgh, but seriously it is well worth being patient. One small negative I couldn't take the Fitted Driver with me there and then, but I can't wait to receive it. Thank you James and thank you SGGT, great experience.

I don’t normally do reviews, but I felt on this occasion to make an exception. I booked in with Lawrence at Chesterfield. He explained the process and asked me a few questions. We then got on with the task of finding the right combination for me. I found Lawrence to be friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend anyone to get fitted for clubs, after all we are individuals with our own unique swing. To cap off a great fitting, my clubs arrived in 12 days. Brilliant!!

Fantastic experiance from start to finish, Jordan was very knowledgeable and help in guideing me through the fitting, and the communication through out has been great.

Thought all the team at SGGT were fantastic but in particular Aaron. The iron fitting he gave me was brilliant. Very insightful and everything was explained simply and very professionally. Most importantly for me the service provided was relaxed and stress free.Aaron is a credit to SGGT and I will be recommending him and SGGT to my golfing buddies. Thanks again

I had an amazing fitting session at SGGT Glasgow. As a beginner getting my first fitting I was put at ease and taken through what I wanted to achieve with the fitting (higher launch). We went through several options of shaft and club combo and I was delighted that the irons that felt the best also backed that up on trackman stats.

I ordered my clubs and received them 2 weeks later they are performing just as they did at fitting and I feel much more confident with my swing.

Had a great iron fitting and experience with Scott in the Edinburgh fitting studio.
Was made to feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
Huge selection of clubs and shafts, but I put my trust with Scott’s experience and the trackman data to get the best combination for my swing. Which he certainly did!
Very fast turn around with the build and had new irons in just over a week.
Can’t wait for the season to fully get going.
I’ll definitely be going back for driver and wedge fitting.

I got a full fitting (irons, driver, woods) over the course of 3 sessions from James and Scott. The experience was absolutely outstanding and the level of knowledge of James and Scott is awesome. I have now had my clubs for a month and I can only say what a difference. It is never going to cure my poor swing !!) but I really notice how the strike is much more consistent. I am hoping in the better weather this will start to bring my handicap down

My only regret is that I will miss going to SGGT!! Thanks again James and Scott

As soon as you walk through the door your made to feel welcome and that they are here to help you.
Scott was exceptional and took his time explaining the intricacies of my swing.
Being kack handed he explained that I automatically deloft the club and turn my 7 iron into a 6 iron.
That explains why I wasn’t achieving the trajectory I should have.
After going through various set up we eventually found the right one for me .
It felt really comfortable and unpressurised and I’m sure will help my game.
First class set up and service and already recommended them to a co worker.

I went for a fitting at another retailer where they only fit a 7 iron. I was apprehensive to purchase off the back of trying only the Seven so I decided to try SGGT. I am so glad I did, although the other fitting did a good job with the 7 I found when I tried the wedge and 4 iron at SGGT they wasn’t for me. SGGT fitted using a wedge,8,6 and 4 iron . I’ve now played a couple of rounds with my new irons and I wish I had done it ages ago. This is the only place I will ever go to in future, I can not recommend them enough.
