I have just received my 18 year old Pfaff Classic Style Quilt machine back after it's very first service...yes, I know I have been a neglectful sewing machine owner!! It has been well used and highly reliable but it was starting to sound rattly and stitch quality was erratic. So, after treating myself to the amazing Pfaff Performance Icon which I also bought from The Sew Centre, I sent my old trusty machine into them for its more than well overdue service and I am so glad I did! It sounds and feels like a new machine!! It stitches beautifully and I am overjoyed with it. The Sew Centre staff I spoke with throughout were incredibly helpful with arranging DPD pick up and return which made getting the machine serviced much easier for me because I live in a rural area. That they organise all that is fantastic and I felt that my machine was in really safe hands from when it left till when it came back. I just want to send a BIG THANK YOU to all The Sew Centre team. I now have a reliable and much loved back up machine for the Performance Icon when it goes back to The Sew Centre for its annual service later this year. I'm a well chuffed, highly satisfied Sew Centre customer!

I saw the advert on Ebay. I called & left a message as it was just before a Bank Holiday weekend. The guys from Sew Centre were Fantastic. They called me back that same day out of hours, and answered all the questions I had. The sewing machine was serviced, had a guarantee & they followed up with a courtesy call. The entire experience was great I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I ordered an extra foot for my machine and it arrived a couple of days later. Many thanks to Callum, Hannah and Ella for all your helpful and friendly advice!

I like this online company. I ordered a Pfaff Performance Icon Sewing Machine (£4,699). It was shown on their web site as “In Stock”. Next day I ordered an additional Pfaff Accessory Foot Pedal (£330), also shown as “In Stock”. This combination was a surprise present for my Wife. They subsequently informed me that the Sewing Machine had been sold, but was still shown as in stock on their web site. They ordered a brand new one from Pfaff. It took several days to be delivered. No Pfaff Accessory Foot Pedal with it, though I had spoken with staff by phone. I had originally believed it had been put to one side for me as I paid for it at the outset. Alas it was also incorrectly shown as “In Stock”. The Pedal has now been ordered by this online retailer via Pfaff.
I have been regularly updated regarding the progress of my order and was offered a refund, which I declined. The Sewing Machine was eventually delivered last Saturday, via DPD. It is incredible. My Wife has been using it for the past couple of days. It is vastly superior to her older previous Pfaff. I’ll be back to order additional Pfaff Accessory Presser Feet in due course, together with Barnyarns threads. Apart from their web site problem. Their service has been top class.

What a great session. Very informative, lots of ‘play time’ on the machines, super friendly & helpful staff & of course, browsing time in the shop to pick up thread that I can never get enough of !!

I needed a presser foot for an old but reliable Bernina. I got the right one from sewcentre after another bad experience with Amazon. Go direct to the supplier! It’s probably a bit more expensive but for a good reason: they’ll know what they’re doing, and you can actually speak with a human being if you need to!

I purchased a second hand machine and embroidery unit. Service was quick, efficient and personal. I realised not all accessories were included. Customer Service were so very helpful and prompt in their response and delivery. I would 100% recommend them.

Thought I'd already written a review - but p'raps suffered a 'senior moment'! Anyhow... this is my second machine purchase from Sew Centre @ Barnyarns and, as per previous shopping experiences everything went smoothly. I knew which machine I required, placed my order and made payment without a hitch. Few moments later received a call from Callum to advise that there would be a slight delay in delivery as the last stock machine had sold slightly a short while earlier that day; no problem as would only be ten days or so delay. However a week later Hannah called to say that they'd received my machine; delivery was arranged for the next day and once again everything went smoothly with it arriving exactly on time via DPD. Still getting used to my new machine but will write a review regarding this in a couple of weeks once I've tried everything it can do - initial trials are positive. Whether you shop online or visit in person - I've done both and can highly recommend SewCentre@Barnyarns. I'll definitely be a returning customer.
