Great (not too serious) talk, really enjoyed.

The speaker offered a highly informative, nuanced and insightful presentation covering both the neurological aspects of engagement with poetry plus the creative and emotional significance of symbolism and meaning-making in the human experience. Particular highlights were the points made about the central importance of traumatic and other significant psychological experiences requiring witness to be brought to them to bring meaning and understanding. Other elements were how poetry uses negative capability to help us understand the world and thevpoems used to illustrate poetry's powerful capacity to translate our inner worlds if we allow it. This talk has made me reflect on creative ways to use poetry within my therapeutic practice.

I attended a Seed Talk on the Psychology of poetry and it far exceeded my expectations. The speaker, the content, the structure of the session and the follow-up were all exceptional.

Perfect venue, delivery. insightful information and time (5pm) for The history of Witchraft talk by Dr Gillian Kenny in the Sugar club.

Fantastic talk, the speaker was brilliant. She gave very well thought out slides, explained everthing very clearly and easy to understand. A brilliant Q & A afterwards which she gave a long time to. I couldn't make the event but was able to catch up with the recording. A really helpful and relevant session for myself both personally and professionally.

Leigh was an incredible speaker and gave an engaging presentation that left me feeling inspired.

This was my second Seed Talk with Dr Gillian Kenny and my only complaint is that we would have loved it to be longer! A fantastic evening - Dr Kenny is extremely knowledgible and also very funny, so it makes the whole experience really enjoyable. The evening was very well organised by Seed Talks. The venue tends to run a little on the warm side but that doesn't take away from how good the evening was.

I have watched several Seed Talks, in person, live stream and completed a full course with them. This was definitely one of the best. well structured and presented and very informative. Despite only being via chat felt a connection with other attendees that I have not had in other online sessions. I've written poetry for over 40 years, some published and this reaffirmed my intuition that it has been an anchor in difficult times. keep going Seed Tals and more from Leigh phenomenal speaker.

Attended the Psychology of Poetry event. Excellent, knowledgeable speaker, well facilitated and organised.

The talks available, cover a wide variety of subjects. The speakers are experienced in their field and usually are either researchers or lecturers from a University.
I like that you can see the talks in person at different locations or watch online. They are always well put together.

Phenomenal experience, could listen to her speak for hours. Such rich and complicated content articulated so clearly and inclusively.

This is our third Seed Talk (I always buy the group ticket, and watch with my equally-nerdy brother and sister). We've always found the presenters to be extremely knowledgeable and well-prepared.

Slightly off putting that the sliding doors opened throughout meaning cold air came in, plus noisy background (air con??) and lights that hung over the screen so obscured view depending where you sat.

Great quality event. Smoothly run and lovely venue. The speaker was quality, very enjoyable and easy to listen to. The subject delivered was vast and at times it felt like a whistle stop tour. More detail would have been nice about rituals etc. very informative, wouldn’t say it was juicy or scandalous (which when talking about witches and the patriarchy, I was hoping for lots of).
