Just bought a really nice car from Sedgley Group. From the moment I enquired until picking the car up, the service has been fantastic. A big shout out to Abdul, his honesty and professionalism made this car buying process one to remember. Also he’s a very nice guy. I just picked up my bmw x5m of this dealer and the lads were so helpful and looked after me on my part exchange, they gave me a lot more than any other dealers offered, my experience was second to none & I received impeccable service throughout. Be back next year lads 👍🏼

Bought a BMW 7 Series from Sedgley Group and had it delivered over 400 miles, so was a little worried in case there were any issues. It's not like I could just drop it back to be fixed. Abdul promised that any problems would be taken care of and I took him at his word.

Overall the car was great, but as I feared came with some issues that BMW identified when it went in for a "minor" check. Being BMW, these issues ran up a bill of over £2,000 and I really thought I was going to be left out of pocket and extremely annoyed. Much to my surprise (and BMW's too) Abdul liaised with BMW and picked up the bill, getting the car exactly as it should have been. Unbelievable!

Honestly, this is probably the best experience I've had buying a car. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them, and the next time I'm in the market for a car they'll be the first place I look.

There is nothing malicious nor untrue as to my review. Yes, i really liked the A8 they had and it was a fair price. Their Salesman persuaded me that there were many faults with the vehicle such that they could not sell it within their dealership and would have to dispose of in the Trade. My option was to drive to Leicester to an Audi dealership and take the offer they had given me of £18326.00 I decided that as I was on crutches and didn’t really want a 4 hour return journey to accept their offer.
Considering the way they had played down the state of the car; a fully loaded 66 plate black edition A7 you can imagine my disappointment at their offering it on their website and on Autotrader for £21,495 less than 48 hours later, hardly the time needed to 'cure' all these supposed faults!
In terms of the 'help' they gave me; this comprised of allowing me to use one of their computers to process the payments as my banking app did not allow over £28,000 to be processed via a mobile. I think it fair to say they had a vested interest in me parting with this money.
Their real character showed when despite me being on crutches they left me to transfer my belongings to the new car on my own. The neighbouring business to them offered to assist me for which I was very grateful.
When through anger at their duplicity I saw their advert on Autotrader abd their own website for my car (the one they didn't dare sell except in the Trade) on line for £6,495 more than they bought my car, I left the bad review. I was then threatened firstly with Legal action and then when that didn't work they threatened to withhold notification of new owner to the DVLC. Again I had to threaten in return with notification to the DVLC which I understand for a dealership can incur a £1000 fine Fortunately I do have a copy of the receipt for my purchase although interestingly whilst they had me sign a contract of sale they did not provide me with a copy. Very very strange - I wonder why?
Ultimately it is for everyone to judge for themselves but I have never had such a bad experience in a car dealership in my 48 years of motoring. I highly recommend you view TrustPilot for views of this dealership before doing business and then you will realise I am not the only disgruntled customer

I bought Range Rover SVR last month from Sedgley Group. It was a good experience. Their sales team was quite professional. Recommended!

Be very careful about buying a car from this company, do your homework, don’t be rushed into parting with your money, no matter how much you love the car you are looking at. We would recommend you get a professional and in-depth inspection done before you even pay the deposit on the car you are interested in. In particular check for undeclared bodywork repairs.

STAY WELL CLEAR!!!

Bought a rs6 2015 nardo grey my dream car what was ment to be a good experience in life actually turned out to be my worst nightmare worst 3 months ever literally prop shaft fell off the car on the drive home
took a good 5 days to recover which cost me also cost me to get recovered at side of motorway never offered anything towards I give them benefit of doubt they took 2 weeks to fix it then it came back the same day with a juddering from the centre of the car and 6 electrical faults at this point it had been over 30 days so they said they had me and I couldn’t give it back a further 2 months of Misery backwards and forwards to the garage never got to enjoy the car once
they finally took it back to give me a refund cos they Couldn’t fix the issues then if it couldn’t get any worse they deducted £2500 from the refund saying it had damages that were on the car when I bought it absolute cowboy company and relisted the car couple week later 4 grand more STAY CLEAR!!

Just instigated legal action against this company as I believe we have discovered that the car we bought in good faith has previously been involved in a serious accident and has been badly repaired by someone; despite HPI check coming up as clear. BUYER BEWARE.

Sedgley didn't want to engage directly with us, just fobbed us off with a standard email from their legal firm.

Several months have passed since I posted the above comments and we are still going through the legal process. Sedgley continues to ignore most of the court documents served on them and ignore any deadlines set by the court. Looks like we will get our day in court as we are not going to give up fighting for a full refund plus our costs. We might all end up on TV on Can't Pay We'll Take It Away at this rate.
