The worst delivery service I have ever…
The worst delivery service I have ever used. No proof of deliveries, and no deliveries without the code. Beware, (even if you chose contactless delivery) you’d need to provide a code to the delivery driver and there will be no chances they leave your order in the right place (or leave it at all). The customer support can’t do anything about anything (they’ll keep telling that it’s your fault for not confirming the successful delivery without providing a code), which is impossible to do if you’re not at home. Never again. No refunds for undeceived orders, Money stolen. Had such a “great” lunch.
This service is unacceptable
This service is unacceptable. I ordered food and it never arrived. The driver wasted 50 minutes and never delivered anything. In the end, I was left with no food and an empty stomach. I had to call customer service, and although I got a refund, that does not make up for the terrible experience. Seamless has proven to be unreliable and unprofessional, unable to accomplish the most basic task: deliver an order on time. It is a complete lack of respect toward the customer. Extremely disappointing — I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Terrible Service
After ordering I got off my computer. When it was past the time for the order to be delivered (7:30) I went back on- line to look for a telephone number. What i found from Seamless was an email saying the order was canceled because the restaurant was closed. It was sent 10 minutes after I had ordered.
I should have received a phone call about that.

Only received half the order, and delivery person never corrected it. They just left.
Easy to use and accurate information
This was my first Seamless experience. It has an easy to use website, I received texts with an accurate time window and a text when food was ready for pick up.

The ordering experience through seamless was terrible. It was glitching as it had me create an account before placing my order. I was not able to checkout as a guest, and it was not saving my info to create an account. Finally got past that part after 20 minutes just for the only pay option to be Apple Pay. No option to put my debit info in. I just stopped and used a different ordering platform
A once reliable app is now skidding off the cliff.
As a New Yorker now living in New Jersey just across the Hudson River, 15-minutes from Manhattan, I've used Seamless for years. However, as of May / June 2025, two different restaurants from which I ordered on the app confirmed my orders by text, confirmed again that the orders were on the way (even providing the courier's name), and tracking the orders in the app's map showed the couriers were very close to my building. And then, suddenly, I receive texts that my orders were canceled. How can an order be canceled well after the customer is receiving text notifications confirming that the order was received and being prepared, and then, that it is on its way, which is confirmed by the fact that the courier or delivery driver can be tracked within the app and in both cases was only minutes from my home? I am not chasing after a business, whether that be the restaurants or Seamless, to investigate why this utter abdication of responsibility to customers is occurring. My mobile and all apps are up-to-date. All is completely operational. It is worth repeating that I have used Seamless for years and without problems, until this month. Yes, I am paying for convenience, and by doing so, have always tipped couriers or drivers a minimum of 20%. Two strikes and one more makes three, which will be game over.

I ordered food for a few people from a restaurant that I go to all the time. They know my name. I placed the order. Another guest showed up a few minutes late, and so I ordered for him. The restaurant sent both orders with the same driver. He showed up without the second order and said it was coming with another delivery person. Why? The second order never showed up. What customer service? If it is available on the website, it is well hidden. I won't order through seamless again.
When they are good
When they are good, they are very good, but when there's a hiccup, just forget it, they're horrible. What I hate the most is when your order suddenly gets delayed by 15-30 minutes for no apparent reason. I also hate that there is NO help for then they show up and either leave the wrong order, or leave something out of your order. The driver doesn't want to know anything, and you can't seem to be able to get them to fix it. If I ordered 6 things, I want all 6. I've had drivers argue with me, be rude, and have no willingness to make things right. Its not that hard. I order from them weekly, the same order, and its literally 8 minutes down the street from me. Like- just go back and get the missing item?? I don't understand why they can't/won't do that! But recently, almost every single order says it'll come within a reasonable amount of time, then 5 mins later it is going to be delayed by a lot. They've also recently canceled orders saying the place is closed- when it is not. If you need more drivers, hire them! I'm paying for the convenience of having it delivered. Have some pride in your business. Please.

I live in London full time and we use Deliveroo. It is an anomaly to have a late order and London is a much larger city than New York. Grub hub/seameless is now late for a second time in a row. The first time was 45 minutes and eventually i cancelled via the help desk as the restaurant did not answer their phone. Another order placed (shame on me me) and it is now 20 minutes late and I am told “oh it left a while ago and should be with you any minute.” Not feeling very confident on this at all……
Terrible
For years I ordered but learned the hard way. It was clearly some drug like horse tranq or so and it made me very drugged, very sick weak old and tired
Seamless and Grubhub also deducted pretty large sums after a long time of delivery through change of tips somehow without permission (tips are paid at purchase) This was hundreds of dollars.
It’s A Interesting App
I ordered from a place that’s right near my house and the delivery driver delivered it to a similar but different address that wasn’t mine. The guy never called, texted just left it for someone else to grab. This has been an ongoing issue where they deliver the food to the same wrong address just like this time and never do anything about it. Ruined my evening much!!

I order from different restaurants on seamless and normally it's ok. But when I ordered from a diner by me 50% I don't get it or the ask me to come out of my apartment building to go get it. I'm not paying for delivery and a tip to go get the food myself. BY FAR THE BIGGEST BUNCH OF MORONS. ITS OBVIOUS THEY DONT SCREEN THERE DRIVERS. THE Majority of them don't speak English. If I could give negative stars I would. Then they cancel the order and tell you it takes 3 to 5 days to get reimbursed. They take your money in 10 seconds but can't return it as quick. This is like the 10 or 15th time over the last couple of years. MY ADVICE NEVER USE SEAMLESS AT ALL.
Food was never delivered
Food was never delivered. Called the guy and he said it was delivered. I watched on my security cameras and he never drove up. I asked him simply to pick up the food wherever he delivered it and bring it to us. He said OK and never showed up or answered his phone again. THE DELIVERY GUY IS OBVIOUSLY A POS LIAR. I ordered a Chipotle bowl yesterday night and The person that was supposed to be bringing my food in was waiting outside of my house for 15 minutes if not longer before i called them to come bring it, keep in mind it was no contact delivery so he shouldn’t even have had my food for that long ALSO the picture and name on the app was the name of a female and a man handed me the food.. I requested a refund and they said they were unable to give me one even though i couldn’t eat my food waste of 24$ DO NOT ORDER.

I would strongly NOT recommend you do business with this company. if you are looking into this company for ach/echeck to check out - go with the other company. we signed up and their plugin never worked and cause thousands of dollars worth of issues for customers orders. their support is horrible and this went on for 3 months - where they were supposedly working on this where it wasnt active on our site and they still charged us even tho their team was supposed to be working on correcting the issue.
when i brought this up - they couldnt careless about their customers in a response. i should have looked at these reviews prior to even doing any business with them. hopefully if you are reading this you consider finding an alternative before doing any business with this horribly run company.
Seamless fails its core value proposition
Seamless's core value proposition is not pricing (it's more expensive). It's not variety (it's easy to find restaurants on google). It's not benefit to restaurants (it squeezes restaurants, and threatens to take them off the platform).
So, what is their core value proposition then? It's supposedly convenience, right? Well, with late deliveries (45+ minutes late) for my last several orders, and food arriving cold, and having to call the restaurant only to find that Seamless hasn't assigned a driver yet, I start to wonder what value it really provides to me? I think the answer is no value.
