Delivery was on time with a phone call to confirm time of arrival
Delivery crew were efficient polite and tidy clearing away the packaging
Time was taken to explain how the mechanisms worked
We had a slight issue with some creasing/colouration change on the leather but this was dealt with following a visit from a technician was was again helpful an efficient

Walked into the store at Preston to be greeted by Alison, offering us hot or cold drinks. She was most helpful and not at all pushy. I went away after ordering the suite of my choice and very satisfied with my purchase and the lovely Alison

I was pleased with all aspects of buying a sofa from you apart from when the item was delivered the delivery man gave me some kind of screw & said that it should be fitted to ensure the seats of the sofa are joined together properly. He said that they weren’t going to fit the screw as thenSeats of the sofa were already joined . I accepted this but after the drivers left I noticed that the 2 seats of the sofa appeared to not align with each other properly.

The ordering in store was ok, the updates for delivery were ok. I am disappointed that you cannot print off an invoice receipt in store when I asked i was told on more than one occasion your printer was broke?? Some people like myself prefer to have paperwork receipts. I did not get a final invoice saying I had fully paid, just my credit card receipt.
On delivery day communication was good I was told what time to expect delivery.
The two guys worked very fast, however I had to point out the first sofa which was half unpacked was not the one I ordered. The guys immediately repacked that sofa and mine was brought off van. I was told I would need an extension lead if I wanted to move sofa around, I have since found out I can buy a rechargeable battery which would eliminate this problem. I had to ask them to plug it in to test if it worked ok, and it did. Don't get me wrong the guys were very polite just think it was bad day for them.
I had good look at sofa, very nice, however I noticed what looked like marks on headrest part of sofa that at first I thought were creases. I purposely left it to rest couple days but still there, looks like stain because of creases. It may be how it was packed I don't know but I am not happy and would like someone to visit to look at it. I await your reply, thank you Margaret Owen

I was met at the door by CHRIS one of your sales staff he was so friendly and jolly and being an OAP he made me feel at ease he explained everything to me and showed lots of patience eventually I chose what I wanted filled in the paperwork he truly was a gentleman and I will certainly recommend SCS to all my friends this was from Riversway Retail Park Preston

Purchased a sofa at the end of 2025 and have just reported sagging and dipping of the material on one of the cushions. Their after sales service is extremely poor and due to the fact that we keep throws over the sofa (we have a small dog) they stated that we didn’t follow the daily care guidelines of plumping cushions daily. The email ended with ‘please be advised this is our final response’. The material is definitely faulty and the sofa probably won’t last more than the next 2-3 years which is crushing when you’ve saved and then paid out an enormous amount of money.
Dreadful service, unhelpful and definitely wish I had read some of these reviews before purchase.

I've been looking for a chair for some time.
Natasha who approached us was spot on. Well presented, excellent approach, AND sat me down in a perfect chair. Initially it was comfortable, the back was high enough to support my head. Then she pressed a button and the chair gently rocked me. Oh heaven. I was just thinking it could just do with a foot stool when she pressed another button and, the leg rest came up PARADISE.
at that moment the chair was ##SOLD##

We visited the Preston store a couple times and spoke to a couple of employees both were very helpful and knowledgeable about the products we ended up getting a cuddle chair. We will be using this store for any future purchases and and recommend to others ….. Thanks

Samina at the Preston branch helped us through the whole process and her knowledge, customer service and professionalism was nothing but 1st class . We went to numerous sofa shops to find what we wanted (due to the size that we needed) we thought we ran out of options but samina gave us so many options and she wasn’t pushy in her sales at all. She’s just brilliant!

Ben, who dealt with our purchase of our new sofas and chair was very friendly and pleasant, he was knowledgeable about the sofas, the colours and the styles of the different sofas. He was easy to talk to.

As soon as we walked into the store we were greeted by Ben who was very helpful. We told him of our requirements and he showed us suitable suites which met our criteria.

We chose the sofa we wanted in the colour we wanted.

The only downside (hence 3 stars) was the 14 week waitlist for delivery. We were hoping to get the sofa delivered by mid July, as my husband has his 70th birthday and we wanted it available for the occasion.
