Planned delivery didn’t arrive , unable too use the tracking system. Following day message said customer not in , which was rubbish , I was home from 10am, delivery was due at approx 5pm , no contact too say not coming . Had too make calls following day too resolve issue with MK branch . New delivery time agreed . Was told it would be between 7-12. Had a message then saying around 8. That message was sent at 6-30am , van arrived at 6-36am . Some one needs too look at why messages don’t say what’s happening , not overly impressed with system . Bonus was the lads doing delivery did first class job, helped move old furniture out again , as we had taken it out on original delivery day , then had too bring it in later that evening . A bit of communication would have made things better. Saying that I’m really happy with furniture . When your paying £100 for a delivery you expect it too be a better experience . Staff at MK were helpful with sorting new delivery too

As I have not yet received my sofa bed , I can only comment on the buying of the sofa, and I cannot fault that , the name of.the young lady.is Jamie Lee, and she was extremely helpful , friendly and courteous

Lots of choice reasonable priced and knowledgeable staff

On entering the store the smell was delightful. Dave made his way over and introduced himself, he asked questions and gave advice but backed off and gave us room to explore. We particularly loved the way the materials are around the walls and there are swatches were large enough to go over the chair to show the different looks you can achieve. With Daves help and great knowledge we got to the order stage. This too was simple and straightforward.
Overall a lovely, warm and comfortable experience at the Milton Keynes Branch thanks to Dave and the team. Coffees not bad either

Walking through the doors the store was beautifully laid out. I wasn’t “pounced” on as soon as I entered. I was greeted with a ‘ciao’ by a lovely lady called Georgia B, along with a warm smile. Georgia left me to browse at my leisure, saying to come back to her if I needed any help. I had looked on line prior to my visit and was set on a particular sofa, which I can’t remember the name of. Georgia showed me the different options on said sofa and left me to continue browsing. I got it down to 3 different sofas, none of which was the one I originally had in mind. Georgia was so helpful, showing me the different settings on each sofa, I was going back and forth, I take ages to make a decision! All the time Georgia didn’t show any annoyance or seemed irritated with me. She was all smiles.

I eventually settled on the Belford 2 seater with power head tilt, power recliner and media console and the small footstool, in Dalia 570. Georgia showed me 2 sofas which were in Dalia, one in the middle of the store and one at the front of the store by the window. I had taken a cushion with me so was able to see it on a sofa rather than just laid on the swatches of material.

I didn’t pay for the sofa at that time. I went home to think it over. I went back to the store the following week, luckily Georgia was there and she took me over to where the Belford sofa was and went through the paperwork with me. We then went to the main desk and I made the payment. On my first visit Georgia gave me a poltronesofa tote bag, which I love, with a poltronesofa tape measure inside, the tape measure is a convenient size that will easily fit in my bag whenever needed.

I liked a lot of the tables that were in the store, and when I asked Georgia the price I was told that they weren’t for sale! That was the only negative I had in my whole shopping experience.

Georgia is a credit to the company. I found her extremely helpful, very approachable and nothing was too much trouble. I am one very happy customer. Thank you.

Jamie Lee was fantastic, not pushy just informative and extremely knowledgeable helping us to make informed decisions. Jamie Lee made the whole purchasing experience enjoyable, throughly recommend you pay them a visit when considering your sofa purchase.

The sales people in the store were more than helpful on our initial visit, and on our return to place our order. The order was processed quicker than expected and delivery was approx. 3 weeks early which was very pleasing. The delivery staff were very pleasant and took care with the items to get them into our house without causing any damage. The only small issue was that the "sliders" provided weren't the correct ones to go on the feet of our furniture but I didn't want to use them anyway, and I believe they were a "freebie" anyway!

Shocking experience. Rude delivery driver from the off. He was very upset that I needed 2 minutes to shut my cats upstairs before they came in, even though they were 2 hours early compared to what it said on my tracking. They then proceeded to try and force the sofa bits into my house, paying zero consideration to my property. I now have paintwork that needs redoing, wallpaper coming off parts of the wall and a bent and now entirely useless front door key.

One piece of the sofa was too big to get into the house as it doesn't fit through a standard size doorway. The delivery driver seemed to know this, but at no point was I told this by the salesperson. The idea that everyone has patio doors that they can bring furniture in through is ridiculous. I now have to pay extra to have that section dismantled and reput together at a later date. I was told by the salesperson not to worry about access because the sofa comes in bits. It feels like the salesperson should flag to people if one of those bits is going to be too large for a normal doorway. I feel miss-sold.

So here I am, 2/3 of a sofa in my living room, a damaged property, and feeling particularly put out at how rude one of the delivery drivers was to me in my own house, from the moment I said hello.

To add insult to injury, aftercare isn't available until Monday (it's Saturday now) and there is no obvious way to lodge a complaint via their website. Terrible service. Not happy. Avoid.

We did a full lap of the Sofa stores in Winterhill Milton Keynes and returned to buy from Martin At SCS. Thank goodness for a genuine, down to earth Sales person. Go and chat to him, the furniture offerings in Winterhill are much of a muchness but Martin was head and shoulders above other sales staff we met on out travels.

Great service when we ordered the sofas, the team were really helpful and friendly in store and helped us pick what fabrics we needed. Great delivery as well, really quick and easy and the team were super friendly and helpful!
