From the welcome at the door to the moment we left the store the kamount of attention from the staff was perfect, there to answer questions but no pressure selling.

The timescale for delivery should have been made clear from the outset, Over 3 months is a long time to wait for a sofa

Saw a couple of lovely suites in the Poltronesofa range on the SCS website so took a visit to see them in the showroom, both of them were really nice and the sales staff were very helpful. I ordered the suite and am now waiting for it to be delivered, free as well by the way so loved it.

The sales person was really friendly and not too pushy. She gave us time to browse and was extremely helpful when it came to choosing the right sofa, colour, fabric and size. All in all a really pleasant experience.

Unfortunately a very bad experience with SCS. We purchased our settee before Christmas and advised delivery would be March 2026, which was ok.
We found out on 25th March via email that the delivery was scheduled for Wednesday 1st April (should’ve guessed it would go wrong) although we were away that day.
My husband spoke with the store on 25th to reschedule for Tuesday 6th April. I arranged to work from home to take delivery, to now be told that date wasn’t booked on their DC system….now unable to find a date for delivery.
Most disappointing service trying to get hold of someone on the telephone, after several attempts got through to be told it was another teams fault….still no solution. Very poor customer service

Pleased to receive notifications from the point of my order arriving into the warehouse prior to distribution!
Received notifications of scheduled delivery day so that I could plan my day in advance.
Was given the names of delivery crew with visual tracking map first thing in the morning of delivery day (brilliant).
Received a phone call that I actually missed but returned the call able to address the crew by name. (Great) made me feel confident. They informed me they were one delivery away giving me time to ensure they would be able to deliver unhindered at my property.
Unpacked at the kerbside removing all packaging and positioned my delivery exactly where I required it.
Put the recliner chair together and demonstrated the operation and how to charge overnight!
Handed a leather care kit and recommended its use especially leather conditioner! Very much appreciated even though I have other leather furniture and preserve them regularly, (well done)
Having worked in distribution I could be very critical at every point!
Please accept my compliments on a very respectful service which deserves top scoring as in my opinion you have got it exactly right.

Our corner sofa was delivered today, the guys that delivered were so unprofessional and unhelpful, they made an attempt to get the corner piece through the door, they gave up after not much effort they left it in the garage along with the two sofas and the footstool, they said no way would the sofas fit in if the corner piece wouldn't, they didn't even attempt to try. They assured us that if we decided not to keep them we could arrange for them to be returned if it was within the next three days, they said if we chose to do this we would lose our deposit or 20% of the purchase price.. They left us without even being able to close the garage door. I rang the store at cortonwood where I ordered the sofas from, they were really unhelpful saying there was nothing they could do and the delivery men had told us a pack of lies as we couldn't return the sofas as they were now our responsibility. They gave me a number for an upholsterer to come and take them to pieces and install them in our living room the cost of this is going to be £400.

Whats gone wrong my auntie elderly keeps gettong parmed of when come oit to see what problem is her 2 seater makes terrifle noices and the chair does not work or recline and enginner been out twice and says she should not sit in one place terrible service she paid alot money and i can not even talk anyone like top manager to get her refund.

Drivers were excellent and accommodating couldn’t fault them for effort, however store sold us a sofa that doesn’t fit through the standard door even though they fully assured it would in store when we ordered, apparently not unusual happens regularly enough for delivery drivers to give the phone number (again not their fault) any now being asked to pay £200 up front for upholstery speciality to come out to resolve!! Very poor response from SCS customer services stock response the items sold will NEVER fit through a standard door and they are selling on the basis that they will. Disgusting

Text and phone call to give delivery time. The guys were very friendly and professional. Took their time to be careful with the building and the sofa. They communicated well and made sure they were carrying the heavy item safely.

Very helpful and enthusiastic staff at the Cortonwood branch both times I went in looking to replace my sofa. Interest free credit was easy to arrange and my furniture arrived in the time frame I was advised. The delivery went smoothly, very polite and professional. The sofas look good.

Delivery team (Michael & Marc) were friendly, polite and very respectful of property while also being speedy. This is our second purchase from SCS, and each time from Sales to Delivery the staff were informative and polite.

I have experienced poor customer service from start to finish. One sofa was ordered without confirming the colour or material, and another was scheduled for delivery six weeks earlier than agreed. While early delivery might suit some customers, we are not yet in the property, which caused unnecessary stress.
To make matters worse, the store manager admitted that a staff member had “told me what I wanted to hear” instead of providing accurate information. There has been no attempt to resolve these issues or offer any form of compensation. When I raised my concerns in-store, I was repeatedly interrupted and talked over by the manager.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend SCS to anyone.

Brilliant all around. We booked a slot to view the sofa, the salesman was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Finance was arranged straight away and delivery booked for a week after signing.
The delivery men were amazing. The sofa bed is extremely heavy and there were only two of them. They worked VERY hard getting it into the house and took all packaging with them. I'm only sorry I didn't have any cash to tip them because I absolutely would have.
