Went in to look for a new sofa and we were greeted by Zaf who was great. Had a look around and came back to speak Zaf who couldn't have been more helpful with the order process.

We ordered a sofa and chair with the help of Mohamed we were able to pick our own fabric and colour as we didn't want the choice on the furniture in store but liked the design all at no extra cost . We were at the Bradford store which we found warm and inviting also the free coffee was much appreciated with the weather being so cold outside. Thank you to Mohamed and Zafar not to sure on the 2nd name hopefully I have got it right as both were very professional and polite

Had a great experience purchasing our new sofa. Zaffar was brilliant did not feel pressured at all, he was full of knowledge and helpful. He explained everything clearly to us.

I went to Bradford scs and purchased furniture was told I'd get receipt via email and it was sent to me so happy with the service and the assistant who helped us

The delivery team was very helpful and polite, making the process smooth and easy. However, they missed attaching one plug that was stuck under the sofa. Additionally, the plug pin came out slightly bent during the process. While the service was otherwise great, it would have been appreciated if this small issue had been noticed and addressed while they were present but I realised after they left.

My daughter and I visited a number of sofa shops to view and test what they had to offer at Forster Square in Bradford. The difference in the quality of staff and quality of goods was very apparent. The SCS store was very welcoming, the staff very smart in their uniforms and very friendly and professional in their manner.
Louis answered all of my questions and gave me information on the products we were considering. Louis was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
He wasn't pushy at all and gave me all of the information I needed to come away with. He also gave me a courtesy call a few days later. For all I didn't buy a sofa from there on this occasion, I would definitely say their stores and sales team are a cut above the rest! Well done Louis it was a pleasure dealing with you!

LEGAL DISPUTE NOTICE AGAINST SCS

I am publicly addressing my ongoing legal dispute with SCS regarding my sofa purchase made on September 6th, 2024, for £2,500. As of December 21st, 2024, SCS has failed to deliver the product, refuses to issue a refund, and has ignored multiple attempts to resolve the matter.

Despite several communications:
• On December 16th, 2024, I contacted
(social media @scs.co.uk) as instructed, but have received no response.
• I emailed the CEO twice, which was also ignored.
• Attempts to reach store management and head office have been dismissed.

The Bradford store manager falsely assured me that paying the final balance of £100 would secure delivery. However, the next day, I received a message stating that the delivery was canceled due to delays in their warehouse, demonstrating a pattern of miscommunication and broken promises.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am entitled to a full refund, as SCS has failed to deliver the product within a reasonable time frame. Continued retention of funds without delivery may constitute breach of contract and misrepresentation, both of which are actionable under UK law.

I have repeatedly requested a refund and compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused. Should this matter remain unresolved, I will:
• File a chargeback request under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.
• Report this matter to Trading Standards.
• Pursue legal action to recover the full amount paid, along with compensation for damages.

This is a final warning to SCS. I strongly urge the company to resolve this issue immediately to avoid further legal and reputational consequences.

Given the continued failures and lack of trust in SCS, I no longer wish to receive the order and consider this an unresolved breach of contract.

Very happy with the professional way they looked after us

Everything was explained in detail. We were made to feel very welcome with Mohammed immediately introducing himself and offering us coffee/water. He was very knowledgeable about the suites we were interested in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I was sold the sofa under the agreement that it would be delivered in time for Christmas. I was told it would reach your warehouse on 6th Dec. I am now being told that it could be another 4 weeks.

Great service from the sales team and the delivery team. Customer support was a little poor though as could not get in touch using the helpline number. Always seemed to be closed or on staff training?
Delivery lads (Glyn and Lee? Sorry if incorrect) were great. Obviously had a testing day and were behind on scheduled time but apologised. Had the sofa built up and located it where we wanted it in no time without any issues. Thanks again.

Excellent service from start to finish. In store staff very helpful, ( free espresso coffee was an added bonus ) Delivery, although quite a lengthy wait between order and delivery, was efficient and I was kept very well informed when the drivers would arrive, their names and even a phone call 10 minutes before arrival. Ten out of ten for them. Overall my experience was a very pleasant one and I highly recommend ScS.....we'll done and thank you, my furniture is beautiful.
