Velux solar powered…
Ordered a pair of Velux solar powered blinds which were perfect for my application they are perfectly made for a specific window and consequently fit perfectly they only took 10 minutes to fit and worked first time
Delivery was a little slow but there was a ability to track the delivery so no problem

Still not received blinds

A three because parts don’t fit…
A three because parts don’t fit together flush on the joints, as much as I tried there is still a slight gap. When you roll the blind, a couple of the grips are already coming loose

My blinds order arrived promptly
My blinds order arrived promptly, although without notice and to a neighbour that we don't tend to redirect parcels to.
The blinds are reasonably simple to install, although VELUXs provided instructions arent descriptive.
Unfortunately, the second of my blinds came faulty - with the cords reaching full tension early and preventing the blind cassette from completing covering my window panel. While following the manufacturers reset inspections, the cassettes plastic mount then popped open making the product not just faulty, but unusable.
I promptly packed the blind back up as I have a young daughter who has just started roaming about and didn't want her getting injured, etc. In doing so I had failed to take photos of the fault, although I'm not sure how I'd actually have been able to do this anyway - and for it to be distinguished from a blind only purposely partially closed.
Roofblinds/Itzala are refusing to process the return/replacement if I don't provide photos - which would mean attempting to reinstall the broken roof blind again.
Ultimately, Roofblinds/Itzala postion flies in the face of Consumer Contracts Regulations which provides consumers with a 14 days "no questions asked" right to return and of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which offers consumers a 30 days right to reject" goods that are faulty or unfit for purpose. They must legally accept the return and then decide to inspect themselves if they wish to attempt to reclaim costs from VELUX or deduct any amount from a refund or replacement - but they are trying to pass this off and on to the consumer.
Based on this interaction, I would not recommend Roofblinds/Itzala.

However, it's important to note that your request is being handled as a manufacturer's warranty claim for a reported fault, rather than a standard return. As part of the warranty process, VELUX policy requires photographic evidence of the fault before a replacement can be authorised, and we're unable to bypass these requirements.
Once photos are provided, we'll be happy to submit and progress your claim as quickly as possible. If you need any assistance, please don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll gladly help.

Reliable company
I was advised that there would be a delay in receiving the blinds due to the summer heatwaves, which was perfectly understandable. However they did arrive near enough on the day promised, which was great. I was pleased that there was no excess packaging. Ordering was simple and the prices competitive.

Competitive prices and good customer service. There was a delay in delivery but it appeared not to be the fault of Roofblinds. Not really tried yet as it has been cooler since fitting but look practical and useful

Great blind but fiddly small screws!
Excellent product, reasonably straight forward to fit.
Screws were very small so fiddly to hold in place to tighten up.

Product is perfect and as described. Only concern I had at the time was that the order remained as 'being processed' up until it was delivered. I did reach out to customer service who got back to me very quickly and confirmed the order and delivery date
