My 5 year old Denon receiver needed a CD player repair. I'd forgotten if I'd taken an extended 6 year warranty and had no paperwork. Kaz and his team at Oxford went to the trouble of finding détails of my pruchase in 2021, and said, yep you're covered. That impressed me, my original purchase and the repair were no big deal compared to the amazing kit they sell- but they took the time. Even better, when I took it in I was expecting the usual 14 day or more wait, it wasn't urgent but no,afer leaving it there at 1pm on Thursday, it was back on my doorstep with DPD on Saturday, just under 48 hours later, fully repaired, sounding great and no cost or delivery charge at all. Wow, amazing service ....I'm definitely a customer for life.Ray. Oxford.

I wanted to thank Paddy for fitting my QED airlock banana plugs today - he did a great job with very complicated cables.

The service was great. The person who served me remembered me from last October. It was really enjoyable shopping there again.

As soon as I walked in the manager remembered my name and asked about the speakers I had purchased 3 months earlier, most impressive.

Easy to buy over the phone and reassured by their expertise. Delivery was super quick and there were no issues in swapping out a damaged lid when my player arrived.

Spoke to Kaz who price matched a TV for me after an email request. He replied quickly and was a pleasure to deal with. Will be shopping here again.

Excellent purchase experience - Paddy provided lots of info to help us decide between various TVs we we considering. Not in stock at the branch, but delivered direct to our home the following morning - impressive!! Setting up the various functions posed a few problems, but a couple of phone calls eleicited the info we needed and now we are all set up and enjoying our new viewing SMART TV viewing experience. Definitely 5 stars for Richer Sounds and the Botley team.

Bought a Cambridge evo 150 open box. Great price, new and unused, buying process was quick and easy by phone. Product delivered in 2 days and it’s great. Still offered the free 6 year warranty.

Very helpful advice and prompt service

I knew what I wanted, so did not need much help, and the process was very smooth. Only niggle was that the TV did not come with mounting screws for the wall mount, which I though was a bit unusual.

Not being technically 'up to date' with all things audio I needed to speak 'face to face' with a real human being and not a robot. I had already been impressed with You Tube video's from Richer Sounds, so I called in to my local branch in Oxford. I was greeted by Ash who listened carefully to my requirements and then suggested I leave it with him to come up with solutions. He got back to me within a day or two and gave me his recommendations. I checked out the equipment online and it did look like what I was looking for. I got back to him and he arranged a demo for me. I was happy with what I saw and heard and agreed to purchase the equipment. In setting up at home I did come across a problem when attaching my existing ProJect turntable. I emailed Ash with my problem and he worked through the matter with me. Eventually I found the problem, nothing to do with the new equipment, and the matter was resolved. He, and the other members of staff I spoke to, were friendly, knowledgeable and patient, much better than dealing with a robot, or large company's that only have an interest in selling and not customer service. Well done Richer Sounds, you have a new fan.

Staff listened to what I wanted to upgrade and advised a unit that, in their opinion, would integrate well with my existing set up. When I subsequently returned a few days later with technical queries about set up, the store manager Kaz, painstakingly took the time to clearly explain the intricacies to me. His help enabled me to complete full integration over the next few days. I was impressed with his technical knowledge without resorting to manuals. Well done!
