The Aeloria Aldi Website offering discounts on Ninja Cookwear & Shark Vacuum cleaners etc is a Scam.
I contacted my Bank immediately to stop my Card
Please be aware

after registering, when you create a report, you have to fill in all your contact details again. When you have answered all the curiously worded questions, and hit submit, you get a message saying, thanks, we will not contact again. I thought, i must have pressed cancel, not submit. fill it all in again, same thing. so having spent an hour filling in the same report twice, neither is logged as submitted. I thnk they need to report themselves for who ever did this apauling website.

Statement of identity fraud
I, Lilly Morris, am the victim of identity fraud. NatWest told me that two NatWest credit card
accounts had been opened in my name without my knowledge, and that money was being taken
from my NatWest current account to these accounts. I did not have either card. NatWest staff
phoned their credit department and had both accounts closed. I did not open, use or authorise
either account.
Money was taken from my NatWest current account (ending [last 4 digits]) to these accounts. The
amount taken was approximately £[amount, or 'not yet confirmed by NatWest']. NatWest has not
yet given me written confirmation, and I have requested it.
On 05/10/2026 Mortimer Clarke Solicitors (ref. MCS/MFT/41973292/CCA) wrote to me on behalf of
Cabot Financial (UK) Limited claiming £1,158.63. They have not named the original creditor. I have
disputed the debt and asked for the agreement and proof of the debt. I do not yet know whether
this debt is linked to the two accounts NatWest identified.
I ask that this be recorded and investigated as fraud (Great Britain, 2006), and that I be given a
crime or reference number, which I will need for my bank, my credit file and Cifas.
Evidence available: letter dated 05/10/2026; my dispute letter dated 9 October 2026; my request to
NatWest; further NatWest correspondence when received.

I tried to report a vehicle scam on eBay twice, and filled in masses of information, but on both occasions the site kicked me out when I finished and sent me back to the start. Much of the information isn't seemmingly kept so it has to filled in again.
Some of the questions are obscure and it's also not obvious how to add further information such as emails.
It's a total waste of time and proves the police don't really care about solving crime. If I could give it a minus star, I would. Totally unacceptable and very annoying!

Tried to report possible scam of fake "shop"in Brentford selling gtech vacuums for £59.99 instead of £300+.
Agent too busy trying to fill in multiple choice form, instead of writing anything down, so didn't listen to any information given. Tried to redirect me to Citizens Advice straight away and was genenerally discouraging with warnings of police action against me for " false reporting."
After 45 minutes of annoying avoiding tactics, I gave up( without leaving my email address because of the threats being made suggesting action against me as reporter of a likely scam).
Other reviews report similar negativity. It would seem Report Fraud is not interested in crime prevention, so innocent people could still carry on giving money and bank details to a flat in Brentford posing as a "shop".

A EBay Scam. Within 2 hours of it happening I gave them the fraudster's address and all the details. An hour later they said they were not going to do anything about it.
Ineffective. A waste of time. Useless.

Chat facility not available. Several attempts to register, saying my email address not recognised, even though a verification code had been sent to it! Eventually filled in the form, which seems quite clunky, not user friendly and even quite amateur. Before submitting, I copied the free text section as I suspected it might disappear and I wasn’t going to type it all again. Good job I did that, because that’s exactly what happened! Lots of instruction on not including personal identifiable information. So how are you supposed to attach emails etc containing exactly that sort of detail? I only bothered to submit the form because I’d gone to that trouble in the first place but as I won’t ever hear from them again, it seems completely pointless and a total waste of my time.

Totalling £210,000 they threw it out after approximately 1 hour. Used the so called website forms first which are an absolute shambles, then telephone report I checked a few days later to look at progress and was told I should have been sent an email say this was also thrown out, and yet if you say something wrong on social media twelve coppers will come and drag you down the station.
Something is going terribly wrong in our country.

Reported a fraud where someone was ordering a delivery on my Morrisons account, to a specific address.Filed with no investigation within an hour....don't even bother to check address.

What a crap website who dont even investigate real fraud. The website is horrible and hard to navigate. They let the fraudsters get away with this criminal activity even after names and address were provided

Dreadful! Worthless! Perhaps the biggest fraud of them all. No one picks up the phone; registering is a pain and all the online agents are busy! This is Britain's answer to cybercrime. God Help Us All!! For the record, 128 Avery Way Rochester ME3 9PX is being used as a front to collect payments from scammers.

Extremely disappointing experience. The report was closed in less than two hours, with very little support or explanation provided. Despite supplying useful information including an IP address, phone number and other relevant details, this was still considered insufficient to pursue any further investigation.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend wasting your time reporting through this service.

Difficult experience. I reported a fraud issue through Reportfraud and, while submitting the information itself wasn't particularly difficult, I found the experience afterward somewhat frustrating. When you're already dealing with the stress of losing money or trying to understand what happened, you naturally want to know what happens next and whether there is anything else you should be doing.

I found myself looking for additional information elsewhere because I wasn't sure what to expect after submitting the report. I also spoke to Recoverysol while trying to understand my situation and the possible options available to me.

I appreciate having somewhere to report suspected fraud, but I would have liked more clarity around the follow-up process. When you're already dealing with a difficult financial situation, having clearer expectations can make a significant difference.

As a victim of £95,000 scam, it is so useless that even the scammer taught me how to report the scam step by step. Why am I bother to live an honest life if they are rarely be caught?

The only one star is for the police I talked to over the phone and chat box who were trying to help, but nothing they can really help me.

I used klarnas app to search for a tablet and they came up with what appeared to be a good deal from nova pc. I purchased the tablet and paid £15 extra for express delivery on the 19th July. I have received no tablet, no tracking and no response to contact. On checking trust pilot (should have done that first I know) many others have experienced the same. Some further digging shows this company also operates on eBay with similarly dire reports of money taken and no fulfilment.

Report fraud have done nothing. No investigation, no onward sharing of information to any police force and have now closed the case with no further action.

Absolute waste of my time and tax payers money. Utterly pointless.

Reportfraud is a scam in itself.
Public employees on cushy salaries who do zero work and zero follow up.
They are a total waste of taxpayer money.

I submitted a report of a charity fraud. A six figure amount where the individual presented as a non-existent charity seeking and accepting donations and grants. Gave full details of the individual, address, phone number e-mail andincluding the bank account where the proceeds were deposited. Identified two other witnesses to this.
Result, within two hours a response "no credible lines of enquiry". Even better the deception is still carrying on today.

Similar to a lot of other people I had to have a few attempts at entering the information as the site threw me off again and again.
As mentioned by Joe Sherin (review dated 07/07/26) whose girlfriend bought a shed from Aldi for £40, mine was a greenhouse from Aldi (supposedly) £46.92. Beware fake Aldi websites! Even though it was via Google.

Utterly useless. Reported fraud and even provided the fraudsters name and address after they used my bank details to order to Thier own address. Dismissed as having insufficient evidence. Wasted an hour of my time doing the work for them. Lucky our bank was more interested.

Can’t even get the information on to the website! Keeps getting stuck at each level. Given up. Chinese scammers have won again….
